-The sector 7 guy saying that pretty much all the presidents have been to where the cube is all the way back to Hoover. He also added that he likes to go into that room to meditate. (hmm)

Nothing new or changed from what the transformers said... Barricade was last scene was on the highway towards the end (when Bonecrusher and Prime go at it)and that was it. Nothing added to the ending credits (those scenes are the same)


You would think they would fix Barricade's Missing in Action status or even changing the subtitle for Devistator's name to Brawl.

Other than that, it's nothing that needs to be on the DVD and the movie flowed fine without those scenes. Another few weeks, CAN'T WAIT!! :)[/quote]

One thing I don't understand is that there's a design for Soundwave(why the fuck is he a truck?), but he hasn't been mentioned for the movie. Is he going to be in it or just in the toy line?

He's not in the movie, though he's rumored/confirmed to be in the sequel. Yes. Sequel talk already.

The Transformers look pretty good in those pictures, much more realistic then the cartoon versions (and since this is a live action movie that's really a requirement).
 
I think Barricade has to be my favorite concept in the movie. Police cars have been type-casted as Autobots for so long that it kicks ass that we're getting the corrupt cop character now. I like these action shots of Prime since otherwise I think he's one of the most boring designs in the film
 
I have hopes this movie will be good. All I really care about is seeing cars turn into robots and then blowing stuff up. Plot doesn't really matter. In fact I fully expect the plot to be a freaking joke.

But I don't care. Robots blowing stuff up, what's not to like about that?

And I just gotta say BoneCrusher is really bad ass name too.
 
Wait wait...in the first picture the paint is chipped on Optimus Prime's leg...that is different from the cartoons.

This movie is going to suck.

I had posted this on the other trasnformers trailer forum but no one seemed to have noticed. I figured by this point we do need an Official Tranformers Movie thread or something like that... Didn't want to create one right now but if you're not up for it Panda, I'll get to it sometime.

I'll hopefully get around to making an official thread for the movie.

Also, those screen caps look like maybe promo footage, or conceptual footage. Just looking at the way Grimlock looks, it doesn't seem to fit the style of the movie at all. Just looking at the trailer, commercials, photos, you can tell that Bay has created a certain visual theme/image for the Transformers, and Grimlock looks like he's too traditional. Also, I think they would've mentioned if the Dinobots or Insecticons were in the film? IDK. I'm just very skeptic about those photos, but they do looking fucking rad, thanks for re-posting it.
 
There's no confirmation that those clips are scenes from the movie, but they do look fucking cool and they're from the Transformers official viral site Sector7.
 
Its not like the transformers cartoons/comics have amazing plots anyway. I have hope for thsi movie, you cant go wrong with giant fucking robots transforming and blowing shit up.

Edit: Speaking about the 90's, does anyone have a feeling that this might turn to be like Power Rangers: The Movie? You know, robots not looking like the actual TV series. (Wow, that really sounded like 1995)
 
I have been kinda ambivalent to the movie, but my wife is dying to see it (And she's not even a TF fan)...but after seeing the newest trailer on tv and these pics...I must say, I really want to see this now.
 
Yea that top pic def looks like Grimlock. I hope many females are subjected to this film with toothpicks in eyelids.

Oh sorry forgot to mention one thing. When you're on the youtube video that you want to show, copy the link on the internet browser, not the link that they give you to share, then simply wrap the link in [MEDIA][/MEDIA] tags. Hope this helps.

Hmm. I tried updating the OP with the trailer, and I wrapped the link in the url /url tags, but no go? I don't see the media player showing up so people can just hit play.

Again, I must ask, why the hell do they always feel the need to shoehorn in a trite love story? No one cares if he gets the girl. Let the big bad robots squish her so the big good robots are pissed off and kick the big bad robots asses. That's the only thing that matters in the movie. Big robots kicking big robot ass.
