just do it, it all depends on the cashier you get. the girl working at my Toys r us could care less, she just scanned them no prob. and that is really easy math there. 50 - 20% (10$) = 40
40-10 =$30 + tax for each game you can use both coupons on
 
oh, I understand the 20% part that knocks off 10 bux, but where do u get the SECOND 10 dollars knocks off?

It also says, "Void if copied" it seems like some ppl got problem w/ that arleady?

EDIT: NVM... someone was nice enough to include BOTH coupons on my print out here, THANKS. But both says, void if copied...

i stacked mine fine, the guy didnt seem like he cared, didnt question me for a second when i gave the coupons to him
 
Thanks for the deal. My final count after a few trips shows a good use of the coupons (include tax):
1) God of war (stacked $33.00)
2) Psychonauts (stacked $33.00)
3) MLB for PSP (20% off $33.00)
4) baby wipes and feeding bottles (to avoid guilt) 20% off
5) diapers (couldn't use coupons, but were already on sale ;-))

It was clear... he traded in a bunch of games at Gamestop using their trade in promotion and got 40% extra trade in credit on them, and got a PSP for $7 dollars.
 
Today I went to TRU intending to use both coupons....I tried getting Twisted Metal and Ridge Racer for PSP...1st attempt got denied when lady wouldn't let me use both coupons...she said "one item must be $50"...unless you have another 20% off coupon for the other item you can't do it"..or some garbage like that....the 2nd time got someone else who combined both coupons but didn't scan 20% off for both games so basically that was a difference of $5 off...but I'm just gonna stick with both the games I got for ~$65. This was after I got rejected from that Best Buy "non-stackable" deal with that $15 off promo of certain PSP games with the $5 off coupon printout....ugh...not my day......Wish I had more money to capitalize though since it ends tomorrow....
 
Just a small note. My TRU got in the DDR Extreme game + mat bundles recently...this is a good candidate to use the coupons on.

A reminder as well which should go in the title...these coupons expire end of business tomorrow.
 
I'll try to find Stella Deus tomorrow. I already got SMT: Nocturne and SMT: DDS with the coupons. Can't think of any other full-price games that probably won't see drastic price drops in the next few months.
 
Yup, just as Zon27 said, coupon expires END of tomorow. So make up your mind quick and go pick something up. :)
 
Going to get DDS now, hopefully they will stack. You guys better use them today, cause today is the last day.
 
got Lumines and USB PSP cable for ~$35. I'm still tempted to get a couple of DS games but they way they are scanning the coupons (only one 20% off for one item is allowed and $10 off) makes me pensive....
 
I gave both of my coupons away to a lady in the checkout line who had an item priced at $130. They didn't have Stella Deus, Raze's Hell, or Racing Gears Advance so no purchases for me.

bought each game individually. what's funny is the cashier had a hunch of how I got coupons/codes (actually said the line "damn...those are some cheap ass games compadre" and accepted every coupon I gave him (12 of them to be exact) in addition to the $10 GC from star wars.

Where the hell did you get $5 off codes? I don't ever remember seeing or hearing about that in this thread. I want some too.

And do explain how you got all that to be $55. That should have cost you roughly $80 after all coupons and the Gift card from SW3 if each game was $30 or so.
 
Got DDS for $36.03. Lady didn't even really look at the coupons. I wish this went on longer, I would've gotten God of War and Guilty Gear Isuka, and if it went on long enough DDS 2.

Tonight at 8:15 I got Forza Motorsports for $7.64 and was shocked that it worked. So I raced home and printed my coupons again and went back just before 9:00...same store, same cashier! And they took them again on Jade Empire SE! Forza and Jade Empire SE for $15.28 TOTAL!

Maybe you guys out in other time zones can still get in on this. Here's what you need:

20% off any single item printed coupon
$10 off $50 printed coupon
$3 off code 913625 (exp. unknown)
$5 off $25 code 912073 (exp. 5/31)
$5 off $5 code 913395 (exp. 7/31)
$10 off $50 code 913470 (good 5/22-6/11)

Notice the last code is not supposed to be good until tomorrow (5/22), but it worked for me this evening. I didn't even realize the date was tomorrow until I started typing this post...LOL!

I just wrote those codes down on a slip of paper and handed the cashier the 20% coupon, then the $10 coupon, and then the list of codes. I told him I had gotten them in email for doing surveys and didn't know if he could figure out how to ring them in. As I had hoped, he took that as a challenge and was pleased when the computer took them all.

Here's what my receipt looks like:

each game = $50, $50-$10 (20%)-$10 ($10 off of 50) - $5 ($5 off of $25) - $5 ($5 off of $5) = $20/game =$60 total, -$10 star wars gift card. ~$50

On my return trip, I ended up in line right behind a dad buying Star Wars for his son, and I don't like to stereotype, but they looked like they might have needed the discount a lot more than me. Something in me was saying to give them the codes, but I didn't really expect them to work again...I actually felt really guilty when they did.

What a weird coincidence. Maybe God is trying to tell me something? Or maybe I am just a bastard...although a lucky one, apparently.
 
Toddler - Put up another thread with just those codes in it, if you could. I want to try them out tommorrow, but don't want to have to wade through this thread again.

Holy Crap! That is an amazing deal for all of you guys that had those codes. Me, I just did both of the coupons when I went. I kind of wish now that I had known about them earlier to make my God of War an even better deal, but oh well. I wish these coupons would run another week or so since some stuff that I wanted I didn't have enough money to get. Maybe TRU will post coupons again that will run next week. One can only hope.

I would actually run out and do this now since it is only 8 here, but I know that by the time I make it they'll be shutting down and I'm way tired. Again, oh well *sigh*.

Also, being closing time actually worked to my advantage. They only had one lane open, and everyone still in the store when they announced they were closing at 9:00 lined up behind me. So even though the cashier had just rung it all up for me less than 45 minutes ago, he didn't want to mess with anything that would hold up the line.
 
Thanks to all the codes you've posted Toddler, I think I'll actually still be able to get one of the new games that I have been wanting for a reasonable price. After the new $10 off $50 code, and other various $5 off codes and $3 off code, it'll come up right around $30 or so after tax. Great! I'll try this out tomorrow. Oh yaeh, since you don't want to make a new thread Toddler on them, I'll just update this thread, but later since I'm going to dinner now.

Edit: Again, I must say that let us all hope that they come up with a new $10 off 50 coupon and 20% off coupon. That way my games will come out like yours.
 
Cool, I hope they work for you. If they do, feel free to make a new thread and take the credit. I wrote some farsical stuff in the CC thread a while back about buying 400 games and taking them to Hastings and finally trading them to EB...it was all just in fun, but some people actually believed it and the reaction was pretty intense. People seemed to get it and like it, or hated it (and by extension, me). Of course all the people who liked it told me so in PM so they didn't get roasted, and all the haters jumped me in the public forum. So I'm glad to share the info, but reluctant to be the poster who starts the thread.

Anybody work at TRU know if the expired coupons still rings up after the expiration date? Maybe I can try my luck and hope the cashier wouldn't look at the expiration date. :p
 
I posted this over at Fatwallet and guys there say they got in on it too, so I guess that is confirmation. If somebody wants to post the code information in a new thread that would probably make sense, since this one is likely to be locked now that the topic is no longer a part of the deal.

Sometimes. Just depends on how on the ball corporate is. Usually they are on the ball but there have been times when expired coupons work.


Edit: I just read over the last page of posts and I read the pages of the Fatwallet thread. The information they have is incredibly incorrect...the coupons from the best guest mailer and birthday mailers are in fact the only one's that get counted. If your cashier is short some coupons they could get in a lot of trouble (being short a lot of coupons should result in termination).

Coupon fraud is against the law...you can't just tell your cashier to enter some coupon skn number without a physical copy of the coupon.
 
ToddlerTN...that's an interesting reciept. That 9.25% tax is really gay though...I thought our tax was bad at 8.25%....

It seems weird that the TRU cashier's wouldn't say "Hey, I can't take just codes, I need actual coupons", because I know that stuff wouldn't fly at any other retail chain.
