Seems like the most popular game to buy with these stacked coupons has been the Digital Devil Saga package.
Probably because it will disappear from store shelves before it ever goes lower than 50.

Not to mention it is an Atlus game and they are notorious for smaller numbers of games with high demand, therfore driving up the price of them later on if you don't buy it now.

Or SMT: Nocturne if in stock.

I plan on using this to pay for my trade fodder for Gamerush... I already know powerpuff girls:relish rampage, but are there any others worth picking up that will fetch me equal if not mroe credit at gamerush?

I took both coupons to TRU, and picked up Jade Empire. The clerk called the manager who was very rude, and acted like the coupons were a scam. She told me flatly that I could not use the coupons together which meant Jade Empire would be $40 bucks. I walked out. Was she right, or can I use the 20% and 10 dollars off together on the same game?

It depends on the interpretation of the fine print. It says something like it can't be used in conjunction with another R Zone or something, so I'm guessing that means no combining. Meaning employees accepting both is a crapshoot. The thing is most TRU employees probably don't care.

just got forza for $28 using both coupons and the $3 off coupon at the same time. if youre having trouble using them in sacramento, go to the one on sunrise, as i went back 4 times total today to get a bunch of shit.

Thanks OP. I didn't get a video game but picked up one of the last copies of Arrested Development s1 for $17.70 including tax(34.99-3.50 Associate D,-6.30 20%-9.50 $10 off 50). I just used some green tag filler to bring the subtotal to 50 and bam.

It says "Sorry, this offer is no longer available" if you click the link to the Toys R Us site to get the coupons. Will they put them back up or what?

I get the same thing.

Did they pull them due to abuse or something?

I'm guessing after so many coupons are printed, they took them down. You can check this topic for copies though, there's the 20% off one on page 9 (20 posts per page)

I went again yesterday and picked up Resident Evil 4 for $30 and got a MGS:SE guide for a penny just because.

Wow, that sucks for those that didn't get in on this/didn't print out any coupons. I still have three that I'm going to be using of each.

Yeah, I wonder if all TRU employees have been instructed not too accept coupons anymore... or at least not allow us to stack them or use it more then once like the fine print says (I don't know how they would keep track of that though).

I got DDS a few days ago... I was planning to go back and get Zelda: Minish Cap and Warioware on Gamcube.

Has anyone tried using the coupons since they took them off the site? I still have one of each that I printed a few days ago.

I tried to use both coupons together yesterday, but the employee wouldn't let me stack them. I did end up picking up Metal Gear Ac!d with the 20% off coupon, so my trip was worth it.

Here's little TRICK!

Buy the game you WANTED (Expensive title) used 20% off then pickup Junk Cheap game combine w/ $10 off coupon ..... if you don't like the CHEAP ASS JUNK game you can RETURN it and get your money back!

As for myself TRU won't let me combine or stack the coupon!

I endup pickup DDS for $55- (20% off) + Duels Masters (PS2) $12.99 - $10 off = $50.XX after taxes.

DDS $55 - 11 (20%) - $7.XX (after $10 off coupon) + DM $12.99 - ($2.XX) = $50.XX after taxes. Return Duel Masters and get $10.79 plus taxes.

My Cost for DDS is $38.88 after taxes or $36.XX after taxes if they let you stack the coupon. :)
I'm getting connection refused errors. Maybe this guy exceeded his b/w limit?

Anyway, if anyone has the 10 off 50 coupon, please post here. I kinda want to get Doom 3 Collector's edition.
Nope, the link that Roufuss provided works fine for me. I just clicked on it and got through lickity split.

Shit I'm a bit mad they won't let people stack since I only consider like $32 a reasonable price for Fatal Frame 2 on the XBox or at least what I'd PREFER to pay.

Just got back from TRU, went with a friend since he wasn't sure how to use the coupons and such. Anyhow, it worked all fine. At first the guy working the cash register wasn't sure of how to ring up the games with the coupons so he called for the 90 year old no-teeth grandma manager to come over. They told me that this had been the first time that they had seen the coupons (this was another TRU that I went to this time). They both read the coupons over first and then she said that she thought that I could only use one of the two coupons. Calmly, I told her that it was my understanding that you could use the coupons inconjuction with each other. She said she didn't know but that she would try both of them. She tried both of them and they came up fine so she replied that I was right and that I was getting a hell of deal. She didn't seem to bothered by it. So to all those wondering if they still work, yes, they do as I can personally attest to that.

Also, I found a great combination that can be used with these coupons. It seems that this week they have Star Wars Episode III the game for any console (not sure if GBA/DS are allowed though) for $50 with a free $10 gift card. Well, use the $10 off $50 purchase coupon and then the 20% off coupon to get the game down to $30 plus the $10 gift card. That's what my friend did and then used the gift card on God of War to make god of war come to $24.XX after all was said and done. Man this is a great deal.

Also, I'll be updating the OP to also have the scan of the coupons.

Awesome coupons. Picked up God of War today and I'm thinking of going again to pick up either a DKonga with bongos or DK: Jungle Beat with bongos also. If only there could be coupons like these every quarter or so.

I had no luck with the coupons at three stores today. The first TRU I went to in Tampa, FL on Dale Mabry would not accept the coupons at all. The manager said they don't take photocopied coupons and told me they were fake. The page had a link to the TRU website where I printed it from, but the manager said the link didn't begin with www.toysrus... so they were considered fake. I asked if the register would accept fake coupons or reject them and she said the register rings up fake coupons so she was not going to ring them up at all.

Second TRU in Tampa on University had the same problem. The manager said they won't accept photocopied coupons and I had to have an actual coupon to use it. BTW, these were full page high quality color printouts from the actual TRU website.

Third TRU in Brandon, FL used the same excuse of not taking photo copies. At this point I began to wonder if a memo was passed to all the Tampa, FL stores not to accept the coupons.

Finally, I tried one last TRU in Countryside, FL but had a different problem. First the lady said it was not valid on video game hardware and I informed her that it was video game software I was buying. Then she said I could only use one of them. I asked if she could scan both and she said it says one coupon only. I noted that the register would reject it if it was an invalid coupon and asked her to try scanning it. She got furious and screamed, "It says one coupon ONLY! I am NOT going to scan more than one!" Wow, in all my years I have never seen a cashier get so mad at a customer, even ones that were being total a****** and I was being as polite as possible.

Despite her rudeness, I figured $11 off "SMT: DDS DBS" was better than nothing, so I bought it begrudgingly since no other TRU took them at all.

Anyone else in Tampa have the same problems or use them before the supposed crackdown?

Could any of the TRU crew maybe post as to whether or not there has been a notice saying not to use any of the coupons or if something is up with them?

Thanks in advance. I'm just wondering why some people are having them work out and others not. It might just be a case of how nice your TRU is. I thankfully knew the guy working the cashier at my TRU since he used to work at a couple of EBs.

I got the star wars sith lords for a co-worker, and the cashier said he had to go ask the manager first... so I was kinda bummed cause I thought he'd say I couldn't use them both. When he came back he said he could do only one, but he'd try both and they of course worked, but he scanned the $10 off first even though I asked if he could do the 20% so I could get $20 off total, but oh well. I did notice though that when he did scan the 20% one that it only took $6 off instead of 8, so some of you might want to check your receipts unless you're not anal about $2 like I am.

Just used them today and got a copy of Psychonauts. I also got a $5 off coupon from TRU with the purchase of an item more that 29.99. It was a birthday club coupon that my kids signed up for.

That happened to me today. I had the girl redo it all. I had her do the $10 off one first and then the 20% off.

I had a problem last night in the Muskegon, MI store. I was actually using the coupons to get some gifts for my daughter's upcoming birthday. I get to the register and the cashier says that I cannot use the coupons. She calls the manager and the manager gets on the phone. She gets off the phone and tells me they cannot accept the coupons. Apparently some of their employees got in BIG trouble for accepting the coupons. She then proceeded to tell me they were copies, to which I replied I printed them RIGHT off the website. Then she used the excuse that they were valid ONLY for online purchases, when the damn coupons say, right on them, not for online purchases. I told them that I didn't want ANY of the stuff I had in my FULL cart and walked out of there. I was so pissed off, especially since I used the coupons before in the SAME store. Needless to say, I don't think I will be shopping at TRU again!

Anyone know if something is going on with the coupons? Are they fake? Or are they shutting this down because of too many people using them?

Well, looks like this deal is going south from all the problems people are having. I would have raised hell with the whole cart of stuff, dude. It says right on it not for online purchases. This is a YMWV..........depending on the disposition of your cashier, they are probably told we dont take them anymore, not told why. Then they make up whatever they have to, to get you to put it away, thats why the variations in the reasoning behind not taking them. I did the star wars 10 gift card trick too, 50$ -10$ -20% = 32$ (get gift card 10$, used for god of war), I was irked when he did in the wrong order, it isnt rocket science. should be 20% first then 10$ off, he didnt know how to back out and reo, so didnt want to push it, he told me go to front desk, decided not to call any more attention to this. (needed to get god of war later) still awesome deal. I wound up paying like 52 and tax for both. Very sweet deal. They wouldnt let me add on the customer service survey 3$ coupon, i got (got 3 in a row, over my previous trips), I knew I was probably pushing it, so let it go, hold for another game.
Most of the stores I went to, they seemed like they never seen them before except one, where she ripped it to make it smaller than th large sheet, to fit in her drawer, rather expertly and quickly done too......
thanks OP, I love being a cheapass, it pays to jump on these pronto when they come up, before companies sour the deals by altering the criteria for taking these things.

I didn't have any trouble using them yesterday, both of them. Got Jungle Beat with bongos for $36 plus tax. The clerk was very impressed with the coupons -- asked if I got them off the website, and said she planned to check it out herself! (To avoid seeming freakishly over-informed, I refrained from saying that they could be used in conjunction with her employee discount.) Despite that I handed them with the 20% on top, she somehow scanned them in the opposite order, but whatever.

When I used the $10 off $50 coupon yesterday, the cashier was convinced that you can use it on any item, regardless of cost. She probablly thought this because I used the 20% off coupon first.

It probablly doesn't work but I'm going to try it on Alien Homind today. If it doesn't work, I'll just use the 20% off instead.

Well, I am going to give the coupons ONE more shot at another TRU location. If they refuse them again, that will be it for my TRU shopping days. I will only go into TRU after that for REALLY cheap ass deals!

I used them both yesterday and had no problems using them. However, I ended up having to pay more than I thought I would. I didn't realize the 20% off coupon was for one item only until I got there. So instead of my Nintendo memory card 1019 and GBA Zelda: Minish Cap costing me $38 together, they cost me $44. Still a nice deal but I was hoping the 20% would come from the whole $60 instead of only $30.

so, were the coupons fake or something? Because my brother used the 20% off coupon on a game guide and it worked...........

If anybody hears more about this, post here. Maybe the coupons are fake, or maybe the managers at the TRU you guys are talking about don't know what they're talking about???????

dooddude, Zon's is right, you have one fucking annoying sig with that retarded banana controller that takes up half page. Get rid of it or resize it or something.

Im going Friday Afternoon to pick up god of war and Jungle Beat With bongos, anyone know how much thatll probably cost before and after coupons? and any tips anyone can give me to help make this deal run smoothly?
