Also, remember that if you can't get the links to work to bring up the coupon then all you have to do is go and delete all of your cookies and history and it should work.

Thanks to Roufuss and SOSTrooper for prividing the links.
It seems weird that the TRU cashier's wouldn't say "Hey, I can't take just codes, I need actual coupons", because I know that stuff wouldn't fly at any other retail chain.
TRU cashiers have the easiest job in the store and usually they are clueless to what is going on around them. It's kinda sad really.

Think about it. If I walked up to a register and just told you I had some coupons but didn't actually have the coupons wouldn't you be just a slight be uneasy accepting them as the cashier? Common sense, true enough, but that's something most people here on cag have. Some of the TRU cashiers lack some of the more simple things.
A little thing called tax bumps it up over 50.
Tax doens't count, becuase it takes it off before tax. The store only gets $49.99, not $52.99 (the 6% here in PA).

The coupons still go through at $49.99 though.

Did anybody preorder games using these discounts?

I completely slipped my mind. I would have pre-ordered GTA: San Andreas for Xbox but the 2 coupons are now expired.

Last time I got my hair cut, my Great Clips receipt told me to call an 800 number and take a survey for $3 off my next cut, and at the end of the call I received a code to write down for the discount. I've has similar experiences with Bed Bath & Beyond, Famous Dave's, etc. Maybe Toys R Us has never done anything that way, but it's not unheard of.
Toddler: Just out of curiousity, was it the Hickory Hollow TRU?
No it was not Hickory Hollow.

You can view the various combined codes as $23 off $50, or $13 off $25, or $8 off $8.

Someone else says they used the codes again this morning, got Jade Empire Special Edition for $27 before taxes. These codes are good on anything in the store, and none of the cashiers seem to think it's at all unusual to have discount codes for use at checkout. It seems like TRU needs to fix something in their system.

So what did you guys get during this deal? I picked up SMT: Nocturne and DDS for $68. Went a third time to look for Disgaea or Stella Deus but they had neither so I decided to call it quits after those two.

The coupon codes seem legit... read over at FatWallet that TRU gives out codes for filling out surveys, signing up for a birthday club, and other random stuff.
My coupons say they expired on Saturday. Are there new ones?
There are codes for $23 off good through at least 5/31. I posted them a couple pages back when I got Forza and Jade Empire for $6.99 each plus tax.

My friend got denied twice at two different Toys R Us for those coupon codes. They said it is not valid because they require the coupon to be an actual printed coupon.... codes alone doesn't mean anything.
