Just watched the finale...as for the last scene, my wife pointed out whoever it was was wearing gloves so, it could have been a vampire. Plus u'd probably need super human strength even with the chainto subdue Bill.

not necessarily when he got chained up in the earlier part of season one it was just normal humans who did it if i remember correctly.contact with sliver weakens them.
I just watched it. I guess it was alright. It seems like this season was a lot more straight forward than the first. However I did find the second season more enjoyable (except for the last 2-3 episodes).
At least the cliffhanger was not as unbearable as some of the episodes this season!
About sam: He can shift into something even if he only saw a picture of it. In the books it says he keeps a picture of a collie in his office. I think they've shown this on the show too.
As for who took
Bill...I think maybe it was Lorena and not the easily suspected eric
WTF did I just watch? Man, I don't know what to make of this show. This is just like his other show Six Feet Under which started off excellent and then crossed over into WTF territory and I stopped watching.
the finale was kind of a letdown they let the maryanne story drag on like 4 episodes to long imo. wonder how long till zombies and werewolves make an appearance.
From the link above: "Con: Sam being magically healed by Bill's blood was way too easy and fast. That whole thing felt kind of cheap it all happened off stage you can't see if one over crap. He was stabbed in the heart after all, doesn't that mean death?"
Crap review.
Why can't we see Sam healed? WAH!
1. 60 minute episode.
2. Unable to see Mary Ann stalk Sookie again.
3. Completely spoils the death of Mary Ann.

They've mention werewolves at least once already, so they are probably not too far out
it is in some of the supporting character's story-lines.

This show really makes me wish I had HBO. I watched the first 2 seasons through downloadable means (wink wink) and I plan on doing the same this year. I like to watch shows all at once when the season is done but I don't know if I can wait on this one to end.....
The wife loves the show. Very stimulating. I've watched a few episodes and it's not too bad. Needs more of Tara Jessica naked, though.
Fixed. Although, I would like to see those chocolate mounds under Tara's shirt.
I have been watching the minisodes "on demand" (I am not sure if they are on the DVD sets or online). Just a heads up if you guys had not seen them.
There is a video podcast, that is basically all of the mini-sodes .

This may sound like a dumb question, but I have never had an ipod. You can watch pod casts on a computer, right? Do I need itunes or can I use widows media player?

I think you can view them on HBO . com .
Try that first before installing any undesired programs .
jessica + eric being a ing badass may keep me hooked for this season.
i felt like true blood went a lot like heroes. Season 1 was amazing...season 2 was a disappointment, i ended up giving up on heroes in season 3. Looks like True Blood rebounded. Very excited about where it may go & if eric will rip another dude in half.
I wasn't sure if they'd have the werewolves as the traditional wolf/human hybrid or just have them turn into wolves. Kinda disappointed they went with them transforming into wolves, but maybe it will work out. Bill fighting off a pack of wolves should be awesome.
Did you guys watch teh snippet at the end of the episode? Pretty intersting how they filmed the wolves.
Oh, and damn. Eric was just NAILING that stripper chick (Yvetta) in the basement of Fangtasia.
I got all excited as soon as
Bill found out he was in Mississippi. Vampires must not be allowed there, or they know that there's going to be trouble with the other creatures if they happen to be passing through.
this was one of the best season openers ive seen in a while. i thought the reason the vamps were pushing V was pretty lame though but i was glad to see
werewolves.
im wondering if
that guy jessica killed will become a zombie since in some vampire mythos that can happen although i think they call them ghouls.
also why is it the magistrate seems to be more powerful , authority wise, than the queen?
The Magister just runs the "court system". The King or Queen still controls the state.
thanks for the link and info. kinda funny though since theyre not too worried about being
caught trying to kill bill ,lol,
why not just find a way to off the magister and find someone you can manipulate or get to do your bidding in his place? btw the guy playing him is an awesome actor ive seen him in alot of flicks and shows and he always stands out.
im also curious if all the other monster types have the same set up kings/queens magisters. seems like werewolves would have some kind of alpha male system.
so thats why what jessica did didnt work she skipped a step.
The thing I don't like about the werewolves transforming into real wolves is that they really aren't any more impressive than Sam. He could turn into a wolf if he wanted to. I get that it was probably a budget limitation with the show, but it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If Sam ever has a confrontation with them, he could just turn into a tiger or something and them all up.
