Lol, should be called Black Week. I have a feeling the best deals will be on Friday itself, though.
Last year, amazon just PM'd everyone else's deals the whole week..then on Friday it was all just decent sales. I figure it'll be the same this year. Which, I can't complain because with Prime it saved me a lot of tax and gas. Also, you didn't have to fight the crowds, and they almost always had stuff in stock.

People were saying the year before last though was epic for amazon.

I have absolutely no problem with Amazon PMing everyone else's deals (especially at the beginning of the week in order to steal sales from their competitors) because I sure as hell don't want to be camping out/waiting in line and dealing with insane crowds.

Plus free shipping and no tax (10% bonus savings right there) FTW!

Oh I sure hope they do that week of matching deals again. The only problem is most of the hot dvd sets came from target and I am not seeing that this year. Amazon will need to step up to the plate with their own deals more this year.

QUESTION: When somehting is in stock- if I add it to my cart, how long do I have to purchase the item? I am asking because I do not have prime this year- and I want to make sure I am over $25 on each purchase.

If it goes OOS while you're browsing then you're out of luck.
What is on everyone's wish & prediction list???
Sure, these ain't gonna happen, but I can dream can't I?!?

1. Xbox 360 S bundles (4gig, 250gig, limited editions whatever) with some ridiculous discount/giftcard/credit thrown in...preferably with some good recent games included.
2. Lost complete collection on Blu for $100 (or less) or the individual Lost seasons on Blu for $20 (or less)
3. Half off all Marvel Hardcover/Omnibus graphic novels/collections, half off all DC Hardcover/Absolute Edition graphic novels/collections
4. COD: BO $29.99 (or less) and some other similarly ridiculous deals on newer games
5. Recent release/high quality movie blus for $12.99 or less, PMs on all the $5/$7/$8/$10 blus like previous years.

If anything it'll come with a GC, seeing as the new one comes with what...Forza 3 and Alan Wake?

2. Lost complete collection on Blu for $100 (or less) or the individual Lost seasons on Blu for $20 (or less)

I doubt the entire collection for $100, but each season for $20 doesn't seem unlikely.

3. Half off all Marvel Hardcover/Omnibus graphic novels/collections, half off all DC Hardcover/Absolute Edition graphic novels/collections

Lol, kinda doubt that'll happen.

4. COD: BO $29.99 (or less) and some other similarly ridiculous deals on newer games

HIGHLY doubt Black Ops will be 29.99, but I know that Need for Speed Underground is going to be $35 somewhere.

5. Recent release/high quality movie blus for $12.99 or less, PMs on all the $5/$7/$8/$10 blus like previous years.
This, times 100,000,001
So praying for a Macbook pro to be a somewhat decent price.
Are you serious? Dude, if a MBP went on sale this weekend, it'd be the first time one had EVER been on sale for BF, and would mean that we'd never seen better deals ANYWHERE.
What is on everyone's wish & prediction list???
I'm trying to build up my BluRay collection so hopefully $10 Blus of movies I don't have. I don't want to double dip.

And Black Ops. If it's at $40, I'm buying. I'm holding off buying it for that reason.
What is on everyone's wish & prediction list???
I'll be looking/hoping for some good prices on toy Story 3 and How to train your dragon on Blu-ray. Would also like to see if Mad Men season 3 comes down in price.

Also looking for Super Mario Galaxy 2.

i really hope for some good prices on blu-rays especially if they price match Walmart's $5 blu's and Best Buy's Predators for $10...I am also really hoping for a good deal on Just Cause 2, Alan Wake, and Crackdown 2...if I can get those three for cheap I will be happy!!!

$30 for black ops? only in your dreams, they will milk money until they can especially since it's been a year and the lowest price MW 2 has been is $29.99

I will keep this post updated when Amazon posts it's calendar of daily deals for Black Friday/Week...

From the looks of the link and screen shot I posted below, this is obviously a test page that Amazon accidentally posted. I expect it to be taken down soon. Let's just consider this an advanced sneak peak of some of Amazon's Black Friday/Cyber Monday Lightning Deals. Thoughts? Speculation??

Why would they repeat the same deals across multiple days, as well as multiple time blocks?

I think that might be a partial list, though I can't see how this would be the complete list for the timeframes in question.
I hope that's just a sneak peak because that's awful.
Isn't that just a PM from somewhere (I think Bestbuy)

I know the Simpsons seasons were going to be $10 so now I get to save a trip.

And PoP will be purchased I believe at $10 for the combo (I think that is a combo) then I am all in

Agree 100%. L.A. sales tax is a hammer

Will get S2 of the Simpsons. Wanted to get S9 too, so I'd have 2-9 (already have 3-8). For me, golden era Simpsons has the best replay value of any show. I rewatch a couple episodes a week.

Amazon has a post up in their forums, the new policy is that you have 15 minutes after you add it to you cart to checkout, or else you lose the item and someone else can buy it. This is for Lightning Deals.

I don't know if it's worth putting in the OP, but it definitely is a switch from their previous policy.

I'm really happy about this. Nothing I want so I don't have to stay by the computer and i don't have to spend any money. Hooray!

huh is this a joke? there's nothing good and too many dvd's, not enough blu-ray
awful awful job by Amazon

they did hide Nov 26/27 Fri/Sat so hopefully they redeem themselves

Yeahhh...so here's what I'm looking at so far:

Couple of FRIENDS seasons
Simpsons season 20, maybe 12 or 13
Batman Begins
Predators
SAVING PRIVATE RYAN!!
Mad Men (granted it gets to the quota)
Back to the future blu

That's close to $100 if they PM everything and sell BttF for $25-30. I may let that be a gift. I know you all cared deeply, but I was gonna post anyway
