I thought pinatas were barricaded from the inside by infected humans and barricaded buildings have to be unruined first.

EDIT: The zombie on Goodenough Blvd is active. He got me for 30 HP in 1 minute. However, no infection. He is wearing a flak jacket.

If a group wants to wear him down, I'm sure his APs are far less than 50.

Yeah some very eager person killed me as soon as I got to that location (while I was out of AP). Thanks for the revive. It's gonna be a little while until I can stand up.

Also, the horde of 12 remains 2 NE diagnally from the NE corner of BG.

Typically pinatas are created by infected humans (who are working with zeds) that die in a barricaded bldg on purpose. Then they ruin the building from the inside as a zed. There is a glitch (at least I believe it is) that keeps the cade status intact when a building is ruined in this way.

Since you can't free run into a ruined bldg, you have to get the barricades low enough to enter and kill the zed(s) in order to repair the building.

What happened last night was I got an RRF member in the NT down to 10 HP but didn't have enough AP to finish him off. Another CAS went in and killed him, but the server lagged and in the time it took the page to refresh, the RRF member stood back up as a zombie. The rest of the RRF guys left the building and he ruined it from the inside.

Apparently they liked the idea enough that they did it to another NT building, probably by PKing themselves.

Thanks for the 30HP in heals.

Here's my firsthand account of the Leafy building (about 2PM EST):

0 zeds outside (standing anyways)

Building has closed doors (so walk right in)

Building is still ruined (duh)

2 zeds inside (1 is down to 44HP with a flak jacket. no idea about the other)

0 dead bodies inside

If somebody every so competent could remove the last offending bits of undead, I got a toolbox, generator and fuel with that building's name on it.

Of course, I spent the last of my AP reloading my pistols in BG.

A couple of questions since I can't access the wiki for a few hours.

Can a generator be set up in a ruined building? (I assume not.)

Can searches in a NT building earn syringes without any Necrotech skills?

Yes, but you can't use them until you get the skills.

I have the AP to clear the building, but if you can' repair it right away i'd rather just wait. If i clear it now it could fill up again before you can repair it.

Effective 2:30PM, I have 0AP and at least 4 moves away from Leafy interior.

If you give me a time before midnight, I should be of some assistance as a support role only (barricading, generator, dumping bodies, etc.).

If you need combat backup, I can help clear out the place in the morning.

Right now, I only have two loaded pistols and a spare clip or two.
 
Someone else may have to help you tonight. I won't be around for the regular meeting. I'm sure someone else will be able to clear away any remaining zeds.
 
I think I'm OK on ammo, but those flak jacketed zeds will take me until morning to kill. If anybody gets the Leafy building cleared before midnight, post it and I'll help with fortifications. Otherwise, late morning is going to bring some extra holes and headshots to the zeds at the NT.

Just killed an RRF. Still one just SE of Leafy.

EDIT: Chuckie, Leaf is clear. Get 1 SE of it. Take out the Gore Corps guy there. Ignore the other guy with the bounty on him - he hasn't been causing trouble.
 
Site was moving real slow so I logged out and logged back in. In that time a human named Blitztiger came in.

He said he was hurt real bad and asked for a medic, the target killed him and jumped ship.

I guess I would've been in for a war, anybody see this guy's new location or another GC?
 
OK. I'm moving to Leafy in 15 minutes. Don't overbarricade.

If you have overbarricaded, please tell me before I waste the AP on a one way trip and get killed in the process.
 
Yeah, Crotch mentioned that Leafy was clear 6 posts ago.

I can tell you that 1 SE of it is at HB right now also.


EDIT: The adjacent bldg. to the East of the Leafy bldg is breached with 4 zeds inside. I'll see what I can do.

EDIT: I took killed one zed, dumped 3 bodies, and secured the doors.
Another zed opened them and came in, I left him (and his flackjack) with 35 or 39 hp. (Forget if last attack hit).

Took down 2 zeds before 2 more came in. They are starting to kill the occupants. I'm retreating due to low ap/ammo.
 
Anyone in BG, act now! GC and RRF are incoming!

Edit: Generators are gone.... attackers took off. Of all nights for NOBODY (aside from plume, sage and myself) to show up for the meeting....

I have no AP, but is the attack just on NW BG? The Arms entrance to BG was breached, too.

Is all of BG breached?

Do we have a fallback position?

So far just NW is breached as far as I can tell. Unless a lot of guys are active in the mall, it will probably just be a matter of time. As far as a fallback position, nothing official other than find a non-descript place to hide out if the mall does fall.

Crotch said the rumor was RRF was going to hit big time and apparently it is.

Are we running anywhere for cover right now? I was in BG earlier when they hit it, but no one took any shots at me.
 
Since my revive, I've bought Free Running (my first human skill) and racked up three quick zed kills. I'm almost able to buy my next skill - I'm thinking either Hand To Hand Combat (since I'm a consumer, anything helps out when swinging an axe), Construction, or Diagnosis. Thought about continuing on with the shopper skills, but I may hold off on those. Any suggestions?

I've found that I'm money with the flare gun - three shots, three hits. :)
 
I say go for shopping first, it'd help you find FAKs and/or guns/ammo quickly. Then either go Diagnosis or the attack tree starting first with firearms. Personally I'd choose pistol over shotgun. Construction if you don't care about exp and want to help asap with the cading. But I would probably go with Shopping and search strictly for FAKs for now. Just pm or speak in the IRC, asking those with diagnosis or those who are injured on who to heal.

I guess just the fact that he is RRF. He was involved with the pinata of the NTs the other night. He was also with yosemiteclimber at the time who is the leader of RRF's Gore Corps. We've been killing this guy since last week if I remember correctly - I think he is just getting tired of it and decided to report one of us as a PK'er just to screw with us.
