frost-- what's an archdemon? I want to do 1-3, but it says I need to beat an archdemon first. Wasn't the damn flamelurker an archdemon???? I fought him a 1000 times and finally beat him last night.

I've got 30 hours in this game and still feel like I don't know shit about it :lol:

Archdemon = final demon in another world.
Dragon God, Storm King, Old Monk, Maiden are archdemons.

Basically you need to go finish another world completely... 2-3, 3-3, 4-3, or 5-3 first -- then you can go to 1-3 and 1-4, I believe.

L4D yes, to an extent.
L4D2, no. I played for 5 minutes by myself and knew I wasn't going to enjoy it solo.

Vampire
was my healer. It was really more a matter of luck of who he would attack and after I put the dodge badge on, he was no problem.

I don't know what it is about L4D2, but it just didn't grab me like L4D did. I kind of think it was the characters, but I'm not sure.

To me, the graphics somehow looked worse, it felt slower, and I didn't like the melee weapons. Not even the sword, which I thought I would love...
 
Does anyone know how commercials for games that are multiplatform decide which platform to show at the end of a commercial. Like I just saw a Fallout New Vegas commercial and it had the MS shit at the end with the kinect type swirls and whatever...

Whatever factors into it, it pisses me off.

Just beat REmake with the good ending
Chris, Rebecca, and Jill on the chopper.
What a great game, one of the best remakes in gaming easily. I wish they had done 2 and 3 in the same style.

Did you ever play RE0? It's not quite as good, but it's still definitely worth playing through if you liked REmake. Plus, let's be real: Rebecca Chambers is hot as fuck.
 
RE0 was fun until I made a little mistake and would have had to backtrack though zombie monkeys and a hunter to fix it.
 
My main complaint with RE0 was no magic item boxes, like sure dropping stuff on the ground and having it appear there was mildly nifty... until half way into the game where you move to another location and I spent a bunch of time doing multiple trips to move all my stuff to another room.

Nah, I haven't. If I catch it for a good price once I get my backlog down a bit I'll definitely look into it, though.

Their selection is pretty balls except for a few gems. All I want is vanquish, but not for more than $35. TFU2 I know I can pick up cheaper later on and... that's it.

Same with me. I am looking at Vanquish, TFU2, and castlevania. All I can see dropping sooner rather than later.

My backlog seems to grow exponentially in the fall.

I think the reviews might be unfairly harsh towards it, but I think it's going to sell a bit for a 3rd party Wii game.
 
The dialogue system in DR2 is fucking awful. Why do I have to keep pressing a button to continue the conversation. Its not like I get any input in it anyways.

Hehe, but I'm pretty sure the operating budget for Enslaved was waaaaayyyy more than CQ. Not necessarily saying that a big budget makes a game better, but Enslaved really does benefit from it's production values. And it's not just a good game for that reason either.

Since I have a PSN+ sub, then I'm just going to wait and see if a discount on CQ is part of that.

Hm, so Kinect is out this week...who in GGT is getting it??
 
No thanks on Kinect. Seems to work fairly well but has nothing I want to play on it. Menu swiping holds no appeal to me (wish people would stop that Minority Report comparison - its clearly not that)
