What are you watching on your Netflix (or going to watch)?

Yeah, netlix's instant watch has always been like that with stuff being available and then going away and coming back later.

The stuff they take away will move to the "Saved" section below your instant watch queue and will pop back in the queue when (if) it becomes available again.

I have several going away too, but only 2 or 3 I really care about watching anytime soon.

Playback for this item could not be started.

Seriously, this is happening all the time now and it's continually getting worse since the release of NXE. Sometimes it works an hour later after I watch something else from Netflix that I can get to work, but now it isn't even doing that anymore. It has now become borderline retarded and erased any thought of going past this extended free trial since I would use it pretty much for streaming only.

i got like a week left on my 30 day trial. time is flying. damn. got to finish Heroes Season 3, and various episodes of 30 Rock. i tend to watch 30 Rock episodes randomly. shows are comedy

Back to the Future 1-3 are in instant watch now. I have never seen the movies, believe it or not. The cool thing is, I had them in my DVD queue, and Netflix automatically added them to my Instant Watch queue.

Why is this no longer a sticky?

Anyway... wow. List of stuff I watched on Netflix from November 21-December 31, 2008 is as follows. Most was because they were removing the stuff I wanted to see, but keep in mind that I didn't even watch anything on some days:

On a whim, I streamed Dead Like Me. I like the premise, but I'm still on the fence after the first two episodes. Realized the Fullmetal Alchemist movie was available for streaming, so that got added to the list since I haven't seen it.

Physically, I have volume 2 of Welcome to the NHK and House of Flying Daggers.

Finally clicked through on the CAGcast link to start my free trial this morning. I watched Ghostbusters with my kids, unfortunately the image was barely Youtube quality. I didn't know if that meant my connection (wireless router) was bad, or if it was just due to it being an older movie.

EDIT: It occurs to me now that I'm not half-asleep anymore that my bad connection is about my modem, not my router. I'm kind of tech-stupid. Anyway, no idea what speed my modem is, but maybe it's time to upgrade.

Then I tried watching an episode of 30 Rock; nope, it's a lousy connection. Guess I won't be using this feature as much as I'd hoped.

I got an e-mail from Netflix the day after I watched part of "Street Trash". They wanted to know how the quality of the picture/sound was.

I wish they'd add all the Bond films to the instant queue. I don't like having to wait for the marathons that TBS shows a couple times a year.:)

Watched a couple episodes of Jeremiah. Not a horrible show but Luke Perry really hams it up a couple of times. Also it gets another thumbs up for the occasional boobies.

Just got done watching Primer. Good movie. I'll have to watch it again to figure out what exactly went on. I have a feeling there will be no good explanation.

Oh man. I should have turned that movie off after the first half-hour. I was falling asleep during the whole thing, yet I managed to suffer through it. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though.

I just rewatch episodes of The Office over and over. No TV show has been (this) funny since Monty Python's Flying Circus.

I feel the same way about Dead Like Me after the first two episodes. I still haven't watched any more of them yet, and I read somewhere that the creator left after four or five episodes, so I'm expecting a drop in quality.

Also, I finally started watching Weeds. Great show, but it sucks that they don't have the third season up yet.

The extended versions of the Lord of the Rings movies are now available. I have them on DVD but I'm glad to see them up there.

I have seen them a ton of times but I added them after seeing them in a friend's queue. At least they're adding as much quality stuff as they're removing.

I loved Primer, and it's actually even more impressive when you read about how it was made.

I've been watching 30 Rock, but my queue is full of old, crappy TV shows.

I've been watching Jericho on and off, and watching old cartoons from my youth (Super Mario Super Show is not nearly as good as you remember). I also recently watched Eagle vs. Shark and Zach Galifianakis Live.

Wow. That's a good add.

They added FF7 Advent Children, at least it was new to me. I will watch that tonight. I also started watching 30 Rock and The Office US. Good stuff.

I haven't seen it yet either, might do so tonight. Thanks for the heads up on that one.

Sometimes I hate Netflix. Today, AKA at the very last minute, they switched 18 titles in my queue to expiring at midnight, thus guaranteeing I won't get to watch them all.

I finally signed up yesterday and wish I'd done it awhile ago now that I see all the stuff they have to stream. Much more than I expected and lots of good stuff!

So far i've watched season 1 and part of season 2 of The Office. I got in on this show last season and i'm loving all the old episodes! Also watched Meet The Robinsons. I of course have the rest of the Office in my queue along with Ratatouille, some Katt Williams standup, Scarface and some other standup comedy. That's enough for awhile i'd say...

Also plan on checking out 30 Rock and Heroes, i've never seen a single episode of either but heard good things about both...... I work evenings and my tivo has enough already..... lol

Signed up for the 3 bluray plan but thinking i'm going to drop down to 2 before my trial ends.
Scarface is one of the many they just slapped an April 13th expiration date on. It's gone now. I never got to see it. :(
Damn I didn't even pay attention to when they take stuff away untill now... It's gone from my list oh well, Dog Day Afternoon is there for some old Pacino action.
The expiration dates are really lame.
Didn't even notice until now, ugh. So basically movies now have due dates on netflix.

It's been like that ever since I signed up in November. They usually let you know a month in advance, but all those April 13th ones popped up less than 24 hours removal. I understand that the movies on Starz Play (like the BTTF trilogy that I just watched for the first time) are only available as long as they are being shown on Starz television, but I'm not sure why others are removed.
