There's way too much rock music in here!
While most of my favorites ARE rock music, there is a wide variety of artists on my ipod

Edguy, Hammerfall, Primal Fear, Avantasia, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Helloween. Those are the ones I listen to the most. Edguy would have to be my all-time favourite though.

Too much rock? I'll throw out some more of my faves then:

Dizzee Rascal, MF DOOM, Madlib, Oh No, Nas, Jay-Z, 2Pac, Mos Def, Talib Kweli ... it goes on.
mine would have to be:

Whitechapel
Its so weird to see them showing up nationally since I've played shows for years with all of those guys and even been in a band with a couple of them.

Oh well... Some of my current favorites include:

Agnostic Front
Ambitions
Blacklisted
Comeback Kid
Daggermouth (good stuff for the few of you who said you like New Found Glory)
Darkest Hour
Dead Hearts
Final Fight
Have Heart (duh.)
New Found Glory
Poison the Well
Remembering Never
Set Your Goals
Shai Hulud
Verse

...and so on.
fuck RAP AND HIP HOP!

This has to be a joke account.

I think it is. Not in the sense that the account is fake, but in the sense that the account's owner's life is a joke.

I hate to be the guy that tells you this, but, I'm sorry, you fail at life. If you want real hardcore music, kindly listen to Converge, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Agony Scene, and Norma Jean.

srsly, slipknot? /facepalm

Awesome to see people mentioning Set Your Goals.

Toss in No Trigger, The Movielife (RIP), and Latterman (RIP).

Awesome. Add Stratovarius, Ensiferum, Masterplan, and Queensryche and you have my favorites.

Norma Jean? Hardcore? *barfs*

Speaking of Helloween, I love the Walls of Jericho album.

I change too much/am all over the place, but the stuff that I keep/never delete from my Ipod and listen to all the time are:

Nine Inch Nails
Rob Zombie/White Zombie
The Killers
Streetlight Manifesto (love them)
Flogging Molly (love them, seen them a bunch of time live)
Nirvana
Rage Against the Machine
Pixies.... with Grand Buffet, MC Paul Barman, Interpol, XTC and Jens Lekman following...
Grand Buffet kind of got old, but they really aren't a band so to speak.

Also, I'm a huge fan of MC Paul Barman, but again, not a band.;):D

Grand Magus
Tiamat
King Diamond
Moonsorrow
Lake of Tears (if you want some good stuff... buy/rent/listen to "Forever Autumn")

Oh, and Bal Sagoth (where I got my Avatar! heh.)

(Out of the mainstream... who, me?)

Now that's a collection of Power Metal! (Good call, btw.) Any interest in Domine, Mystic Prophecy, Iron Savior, Jag Panzer, Iced Earth, Stratovarius or the like? They're always on my mixes at one time or another. (Including Manowar, that I've been a fan of since 1987... eesh!)

I love Helloween, but I confess post "Dark Ride", it's been hit and miss... still good stuff, though. (Still have my Dark Ride boxed set complete with lighter!) heh.

I will second the eels and add:

The Hold Steady
The New Pornographers
NIN
Gnarls Barkely
Self
P-Funk
Fishbone
Violent Femmes
Hives
Urge Overkill

Anyway, I forgot to add Robert Randolph and the Family Band (if anyone likes funk/soul bands please check them out because they are amazing), Maroon 5 and Funkadelic/Parliament to my last post. I like a lot of different bands, but my all-time faves are still Earth, Wind and Fire and Jamiroquai.
