Radiohead - In Rainbows (LP)
Pearl Jam - No Code
The Long Winters - The Worst You Can Do is Harm (LP)

I've got Dan's solo album too (off Amazon's MP3 marketplace). I liked that so much I bought a physical copy for my dad this last Christmas.

I actually got Chulahoma last night, which is a tribute album for Junior Kimbrough, who is Dan's biggest inspiration from what I gather.

On preorder:

Electronic Saviors 4-disc physical set + 1-disc digital download
Grendel - Chemicals + Circuitry
God Module - The Magic in my Heart is Dead
Suicide Commando - Implements of Hell (2-disc version)

Waiting on:
20 discs + 1 DVD from NAILS/Metropolis records Twitter contest. I love free shit, and I love Twitter, so it's win/win. :D

Pretty nice d00d up thar'.

Last cd I bought was Animal Collective - Sung Tongs. Pretty good stuff, although I dig their newest album the most.

I don't understand the hype around the Animal Collective album.. I listened to it, and thought it was not only not the best album of last year, like most magazines have said, but I found it to be one of the worst albums I have ever listened to... I forced myself to finish it...

maybe I don't understand "avant garde" music... but a bunch of sounds thrown around and one line repeated much of the time isn't my style of choice.

It's not something I can seriously listen to either, I just treat it like more interesting ambient music for the background now and then.
