Thanks for the video. So far I've only seen Mastodon play live twice, once was at Mayhem fest and they were first to play on the big stage so the sound kept

ing up for them, but still enjoyable. Like I said, the other was at Dethklok where they were just playing Crack the Skye and focusing more on the background visuals then anything else. Only highlight was one of the songs the pit died down and this girl with two full cups of beers pretended she was moshing with her boyfriend, then all of a sudden the song picked up pace and they were swallowed by the pit and never seen.
I've heard of March of the Fire Ants, but the other's I'll give a listen to one of these days. Thanks!
Your welcome, I have seen Mastodon three times so far. Way back in '05 with Slayer and Killswitch Engage at Bogart's in Cincy. Once at the Unholy Alliance Tour in 06 at Tower City in Cleveland they had a short but great set made of mostly Remission and Leviathan. I saw them on the tour last Winter/Spring in Lexington, Ky with Valiant Thorr, Between The Buried and Me, and Baroness. The Lexington date was another where the played all of Crack The Skye plus a few staples. Hehe that's awesome  and March of the Fire Ants is killer tune. I'm guessing you have probably also heard either Crusher Destroyer or Mother Puncher.
I went to the Mastodon/Dethklok show in Philly. Seeing Mastodon 5ish times that was my least favorite because of the crowd environment. I went for High On Fire and Mastodon but a majority of the crowd were teens going for Dethklok. They actually cheered when they played System of a Down over the PA system in between sets but were asking each other what was playing when Black Sabbath's Children of the Grave came on. Learn your roots, youngens!
You may or may not recognize the songs when you listen to Remission, but Mastodon played Where Strides The Behemoth and Mother Puncher in their second set, both of which are rarities for them now. I hope they're all Crack The Skye'd out by the time they tour next time. I really liked those shows where they played it front to back, but I want more variety (Hail To Fire plz!)
HOF and Mastodon blow Dethklok out of the water damn youngens! Where Strides the Behemoth is definitely a rarity! (don't believe I have ever seen that one live) I completely agree seeing Crack the Skye once is enough even though it is a great album.
This is what I got at the Lexington, Ky show in addition to all of Crack the Skye:
Crusher Destroyer
Crystal Skull
I Am Ahab
Capillarian Crest
Circle of Cysquatch
Aqua Dementia
Iron Tusk
March of the Fire Ants
Blood and Thunder
