GoW2 video/theme/gamerpics, N+ - that was just yesterday.

I'm not saying "MGS4 demo every week!" - but I am saying that a demo of a game over a month old (which was already available elsewhere), and Jet Moto 3 are just crap.

Again, you don't even have to compare Sony with MS - compare them with themselves. The JPN store is what the US store *should* look like.

Oh, but I guess I can't be upset, since I'll get a "bubble machine" in Home next week. That's real fucking cool.
Gee wiz, those blow my mind. Golly gee I'm so excited for a video, a theme, and gamerpics that are just colorswaps. Did you not just post a list of 15 odd things that are supposedly much less than those four things? There hasn't been much in the way of console game demos on the 360 since at least DMC4, but I've gotten Patapon, MLB 08, and Hot Shots Golf 5 in the past week. Add in the additional content I can download straight from the web and I'm wondering what's so magical about those four things that's supposed to make me say that's a huge difference over what the PSN gets today?

Are you still pissing and moaning about their PS1 games? I look over there once and week and I'm glad with the way our store's running. Lots of timely demos, PSP stuff to mess around with, plenty of videos, a good amount of themes and wallpaper (though that's been a bit thin lately) that don't cost me a dime. What's bad about that?

PJM's only three weeks old, which is a lot better than, for example, the Super Stardust HD demo. Especially since the demo was already out there to bring over.
Yeah, but did you see the GoW2 pic and video?

Inverse colored logo, and CG teaser that shows nothing.

I would have liked a PS3 demo for something already out there myself, just to give something.
Amazing update indeed.

A demo for what though? Burnout already has one, same for DMC4, The Club's already out, too, though I guess maybe Unreal Tournament III? I can't think of anything noteworthy that's already out doesn't have a demo.
Didn't get the Hot Shots Golf demo from the US store. ;)
I'm a global user, so I takes what I can gets.

Where do these early lists come from though? I know the PS Store hasn't been updated yet and Sony hasn't updated their blog either, so I'm confused by how people come by them.

I nicked it from the Playstation forums - not confirmed, but probably the same as what dallow's seen, since he originally said it wasn't an exciting week.

I'll steal myke's list and update it:

Games
Jet Moto 3 (PS1/PSP) - $5.99

Demos
PixelJunk Monsters demo - 60 MB

Add-ons
Rock Band DLC - Garbage's "Why do you love me?" ($1.99)

Themes

PSP Demos
God of War: Chains of Olympus - 164 MB

I guess that's why you don't post bootleg lists. ;) God of War demo's more than enough for me. :D
I wonder if it's the same one that was on the UMD. Probably is.
I'm 99% sure it is. The title for the demo in the description is what the special edition demo is called on the packaging.

I didn't see it posted before, but the Japanese Playstation Store has Lemmings, Super Rub A Dub, and Super Stardust for 400 yen. Less than $4 bucks for Super Stardust is a great deal.
Wow, PixelJunk Monsters demo was fun, I need to buy this game.
Demos, work.

It's an awesome game, good choice!
Didn't get the Hot Shots Golf demo from the US store. ;)
Which store has a Hot Shots Golf Demo? I checked the JPN and US yesterday. I'll assume it was the euro store but I never set up an account for that. Is it pretty much like setting up an account for Japan?

Yep, it's in the UK store, so it's a bit easier since it's in English.

Any word on what's up this week? I personally can't wait for GTA II to be released on the PSN, but I suspect that will be held off until late March or early April to ramp up for GTA IV.

I'm happy about the GoW demo. Between that and Patapon (and trying to finish Jeanne D' Arc) I'll be busy on the PSP for awhile.

So freakin' weak.
So freakin' weak.
Get off it. I get maligned for bitching about a lame week, so suck it up and repeat after me.

Bless us, O Lord, and these Thy gifts which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

I for one can't wait to download the No Doubt song pack when I get back home from class.

Other than that, it's a weak week. I'm still waiting for the new PAIN level they have been promising.

Man alive, we get a week with Jet Moto 3 and a demo of a month old game, I complain and get shit on. Then we get a week with some other irrelevant DLC for Pain, GHIII, and Rock Band, and everybody's a critic all of a sudden.

As for Europe, at least they have legit access to a Hot Shots demo - and on 3/7, they're getting a *67* song update to the SingStar store (including Joy Division!!!). Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we don't even have SingStar period (though SS 90's looks nerdy cool).

Love Will Tear Us Apart, of course.

Here's the list:
* Aha: The Sun Always Shines On TV
* Alice Cooper: Poison
* Big Brovaz: Nu-Flow
* Bill Joel: Uptown Girl
* Blu Cantrell: Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops!)
* Blur: End of a Century
* Britney Spears: Baby One More Time
* Coldplay: Speed Of Sound
* Crash Test Dummies: Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
* David Bowie: Heroes
* Dragon: April Sun In Cuba

* End Of Fashion: Oh Yeah
* Fairground Attraction: Perfect
* Feeder: Buck Rogers
* Five: Keep On Movin'
* Jamelia:Superstar
* Jamelia: Stop
* Joy Division: Love Will Tear Us Apart
* Lemar: It's Not That Easy
* Lordi: Hard Rock Hallelujah
* Maria Mena: My Lullaby
* Maxïmo Park: Graffiti

Also, the JPN store has a relatively neat-o MGS4 wallpaper, MGS4 and MGO Tokyo Game Show videos, and various and sundry DLC (namely Dark Mist). Also of note, 4 PSX games added (including Umjammer Lammy, Wai Wai Kart, and what appears to be yet another Mahjong title).
this thread has the only bitching I like.
Glad to contribute to your daily pleasure. ;)
Man, I wouldn't mind a few of those.
You import the game, and I'll gift you Alice Cooper and Natalie Imbruglia. No need to thank me.

Because last week actually had stuff to play, but this week, we just got a Pain theme. I could forgive Sony if there were something to wash that awful taste out of my mouth, but there isn't anything there. Same for the XBL that everybody puts up on a superior pedestal, but both are absolutely shitty this week. There's nothing listed at all in the marketplace for recent demos, which shows that there's nothing to put out there.
Buy those games snake.
Isn't that was he said he did?
Also, Echochrome demo next week for Japan.
Nice.

I only realized yesterday that the game isn't Rockman, but Rocketmen.....

That's disappointing....

Hehe, but I hope it's fun anyway. I need to hear some reviews. Online play is good.
Echochrome demo next week for *ME*!
Hey Myke, I think it is just the PSP version though? Are they releasing the white ps3 version demo too?
