I know. 17 and don't know about NES? I'm 13. I thought it was 1985 (I didn't care about looking it up, wasting my time), but besides that, all of the questions were easy. Reeeeal easy. I mean, who hasn't played Super Mario Bros?
 
i m 14, my parents buy me anything i want, i m spoiled, but i dont like it, so i got a job at my local pizzeria and come here, i get all the games i want. my parents buy the system i buy the games.
 
i found it as soon as they posted hint 2 but my damn wii ****ed me over. it decided to disconnect from the shop channeland we all know how long it takes to get back in
 
Yeah, that contest was poorly done (imo) .. first of all, their server was lagging pretty bad to begin with, before people were mass loading pages.. also, putting all four on one page? ez-mode. He also went thru the clues wayy too fast.
 
Meh, we've won all of them so far .. we're probably the only ones actually trying, but this is assuming his website is still running tomorrow with people loading it too much, lol
 
It wasn't lagging for me. Yeah, clues did go too fast, he should've left it at clue 2.

Either way, I'm happy that I won something. I won't be like iowa and go for another one though. =3
 
bah...found the last 4 digits and rushed downstairs and went to the shop channel but I forgot to update my wii :wall: and its still updating...arggg
 
I still say they should do the flash cards again only put each number under different cards so that way it'll be harder for people to jump on since they have to find four different cards and figure out where it goes.

Say the numbers are 1x71-05x4-7x81-104x

Well that prevents people from putting part of the code in at one time and waiting until they find the rest of the numbers.

I was browsing in and out of the game saves during clue 2, but then clue 3 just narrowed it so I just clicked on random games, minus the ones I clicked during clue 2.
 
So what was the contest today? I just got home from school then work so I haven't seen anything.

You had to dig through their laggy website, and find it on Game Saves, Spiderman 3. That was the second set of numbers, the rest were there.

No, I don't think there'll be another code tonight. I think they just forgot to change Wednesday's Code to Thursday's Code.

The numbers seem to start revealing in the morning, but based on their contest "rules" it won't become available in full until noon at the earliest, midnight at the latest.

That's what I'm thinking. A cooler way would be saying it during tomorrow's CAGcast, but that's unlikely.
 
i'm guessing they'll put the code or part of it on the CAG forums somewhere. That would be interesting...

...and you know... i think the owner of that site is a CAG themself.

remember when iowa won the first time? LPW said they searched the web and found the winner. that would be impossible though, because this thread was started on 8-18, which is when the contest also began. As good as they are, Google and other search engines don't include a thread is soon as it's created. It takes some time in days, and at times in weeks.

so the question is... which CAG is the owner of LPW?

They could have searched their name, and wii points probably in Google and see that we'd posted previous deals by them, including their offering of 2000 wii points for completing an offer previously. And then, they see the new post, that or they looked in their logs and saw a bunch of people coming via CAG because the link in the OP.
