Yeah, 56 cards and you had to pick the one with the code behind it.
 
It would've been better if the last 4 numbers were scattered through those 56 cards instead of 1 card containing all 4.

They have the last 4 numbers in different cards and then once someone has found all 4 numbers, they have to guess the order in which they go in.

I doubt iowa won this time around, and he only won twice .. sure its hard odds, but it isnt impossible by any means.

Another code is on the way... with a new twist again. I'll give someone the pen sitting next to me that I got at the liqour store if they guess what it is. Its a nice pen, blue too - my favorite pen ink color.

I thought that's what the first twist would be so I had the (partial) code entered, but the place where numbers would be entered after the first 4 digits.
 
Well, I think they should just add numbers more randomly. Like give us 1-4, then 7-9, 12, 16, 13 etc.

So that you can't have everything entered until you have the last numbers.

Their site is getting hammered, I think .. I got "no input file specified" or something a few times. And its slow a bit.

I thought they'd all be NES questions, too. I had Wikipedia open to the NES page and kept refeshing until the quiz came up. I knew all 4 by heart though... but on the SMB question, I put 8 in the code as in 8 worlds instead of 6.
 
Same goes for me, but there's still no fucking excuse to not know those questions.

lol...i thought about doing that but was like it would be a waste of my time since somebody would get it in the time i search that. i tried 3 times before i checked CAG... my entries were 3860, 3863, and 3869 so i didn't even deserve to win


....its sad i didn't even know when nes came out in the us... 1984 seemed like the most logical... and after WIKIng it it did come out in 1984 but in japan
 
Am I the only one who expected a several question quiz? lol .. I did expect a five question quiz, I figured thats why there was a delay with the 5th number, because they were working on the quiz.
 
its funny how those questions never come up in real life, but you could probably stop any random person in the street that is in their twenties/early thirties and ask them "What did the Konami code do in Contra" and they'd quickly say "gives ya 30 lives, duh".

that was based on the speed of entering numbers via the Wii Remote... current gen... this test was based on old school.. so it was only natural i loose

oh..lol.. i was just kidding. i'm 17. i thought u would be like 25 and act like some guarding of the earth or something and be like "your to young to be here" since i'm pretty sure most CAG's are old ppl.

i don't think 13 year olds care about how much games cost...do they? i use to be just like i wanted (game title here)... and my parents would be like get good grades first...do u want to be a garbage man?..*blah blah blah*... lol
