SNES 9x has been handling Super FX games for years and years so I don't think it's an issue with emulation.

I have no real interest in Starfox 64 but I'd download the original in a heartbeat.

This needs to happen ASAP. In the meantime, I'm trying to dream up how Nintendo could make additional storage as convoluted as possible. There's got to be a way to "friend code" an idea as simple as that of increased available memory. Maybe something involving a Master lock, 1400 Wii points, and a hand crank?

Are currently the only WiiWare titles confirmed for next Monday. I can't seem to find any definite prices, but I am sure if we get an early PR leak on Fridays they will have the prices :)

Personally, I'm only interested in seeing Dr Mario & Pokemon Ranch.
I almost don't want Dr Mario yet, because I'm still enjoying the hell out of playing Mario Kart online..but I do wanna play it ^_^

Some say Dr. Mario will be at launch, others not. Expect a follow up next week.
 
I will probably have to get Critter Round Up if for no other reason but to support CAG devs.

I guess I can stop thinking about getting a retail title and just play some downloadables for a bit.

That's very true , but those aren't nintendo owned games now are they?;)

I looked up the release list/history of the Wonder Boy series and it's sequels and my head hurt by the time I finished reading it all. :headache: Just too many variations of the same game. The least nintendo can do though is finish giving us the rest of the REAL Wonder Boy games to go along with all the Hudson port versions we already have.

That was the first thing I downloaded too - seems a bit on the easy side though.

Going through the recommendations now. For some reason not every game shows up there (thinking of NMH, MK:wii and Pinball Hall of Fame).

MKWii shows up for me. I can't find RE4, RE: UC, DBZ BT2 or 3, or HotD Returns. There are probably others too. I don't recall Sonic & The Secret Rings either.

Yet, Excite Truck is on there and I only owned it for a week..waaaay back in the beginning. :shrug:

CrossworDS is pretty awesome. It's very Picross DS feel, and that's a good thing. Since it's $20, it'll be easy to find for less then that eventually. Especially when you have '2 for $30' sales.

I wonder if they will add demos, instead of replacing them. If they just keep adding to the list, I'll def add DS Demos to the OP. If not, then screw it. I do hope that in a few months there's actually a ton of games to try.

I see no reason why some older games aren't on the DS Demo station. There have been A LOT of games in the retail DS Demo stations if I recall correctly..so, why couldn't they have just bunched them all up and threw it on there?

One last note: Since we opt in for these most-likely-pain-in-the-ass messages, I wonder if we will get notified on when they add new demos to the channel. I hope they don't send us a message everytime they upload a new video..:lol:
It would be cool if they added videos every Monday of that day's new VC & WiiWare titles. Pokemon Puzzle League is there, and it's a featured one..but that's probably because it has the word "Pokemon" in it.
 
Yeah it'd be cool if they added new stuff to the channel every Monday like the VC stuff.

It's kind of funny though that we have been excited for this channel for a while but at the end of it all it comes down to being a big ad. :lol:
I have to admit though I'm enjoying watching trailers and so on, and once the service has been out a while looking up recommendations could be useful.

Sometimes it amazes me how weird Nintendo works. They can't do demos of Wii, Wiiware, or VC games.....and yet they can do it with DS games.

That's arguably harder, since it requires more forethought and hardware involved.

And, DS demos. You have to click on the button in the middle of the top. It took me a bit to figure it out too.

Now this becomes the channel I've always wanted. If they could just get hourly updates to the weather channel I might use that too.

I'm going to have to delete basically everything off my system in order to get Wiiware titles, as there's at least 3 on launch I want to get (Lost Winds, Dr. Mario, and the King game).

Anyone know the price on lost winds? I saw a video of it and my interest jumped 100%. If it is any good I am more than likely going to pick it up. Personally, my issue with the storage problem is the time it takes to copy a game to SD card. I mean I am fine with transferring games when I want to play them, but when it takes 5+ minutes to transfer a N64 game, I kinda get annoyed.

If they add a few, take a few down... I think it is even more important to keep track of. If Nintendo has everything recorded, this thread is a useful resource so you don't have to wade through your Wii shop. If Nintendo doesn't keep track, this thread is vital, since otherwise it will be lost forever. What if you have fond memories of a demo and just got your paycheck, but there are new demos and you forget the name? If you still disagree I'm fine with keeping track all by myself.:D This all depends on if Nintendo adds, or adds and removes. I think first party games might stay, but third parties might have to pay and don't have the cash to do it forever.

Checked the wiki actually before I posted, wasn't there. Oh well $10 isn't too bad since these points have been on my system since March. Hope it turns out to be a fantastic game.
 
I like the DS demo downloads, I wish they made that its own channel. If only the DS had some type of memory to keep the demos on the DS

I'll go one better. Internal memory confirmed on the DS Lite2.
 
Figures this would come out when I have to go out of town for a week. I did manage to download the Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword demo before I left earlier. I thought it was pretty fun, but I'll wait until I can get it for 20 bucks or a B2G1 sale at EB.
 
Yeah I wish you could delete the weather and news channel to free up some room. This whole having to redownload games thing is pretty lame.

So is Earthbound supposed to be the best the mother series has to offer?
Here to hoping for mario rpg, final fantasy 6, and secret of mana come sooner rather than later.
