The women in that game are hot enough for me to not even notice the names.

I don't know why, but I actually like Okiraku more than Dr. Mario.
namesake?
Grrrrr >_<
Japan is getting a game very similiar to Picross tomorrow. :( I want it. Even has Pay To Play...:whistle2:k
Those lucky bastards. We'll never see that game, even though Picross DS is an amazing game. Piracy has never looked so good.
namesake?
I'm just used to saying Okiraku. Family Ping Pong just doesn't feel right.

Just got Star Soldier R. Enjoyable if you like score attacking shooters. I would feel better if it came with a full 1-player game, or was 500 points. Ranked 13th in the region! Woo!

I just downloaded Dr. Mario and spent a couple hours playing versus with my fiance. I love the Mii integration and how clean and brighter it looks compared to the old one. However, I'm really disappointed the game doesn't have 4-player versus. I had so much fun with that in the GameCube/N64 version. Haven't tried online or Virus Busters yet.

Virus Busters > Dr. Mario Classic. My wife and I sat down to play this last night, and before we knew it, two hours totally vanished. A LOT of fun. I can only imagine a 4-player set up of that. Insanity!
I want to get Dr. Mario. I heard its cheaper to buy wii points from wii shop than at stores. How much are Wii points on Wii Shop?
Not necessarily true. Some states aren't charged tax if you buy Wii Points through the shop channel. I'm in Texas, for example, and we do get charged tax, and as such, there's little reason for me to get them online versus at a store (unless you are counting gas into the total cost).

Since you can possibly get deals at stores - Best Buy Rewardzone program, potentially clearance sales from Walmart, etc - it can always be cheaper at a store.

In the long run, it's basically the same either way.

What he said. I like store ones because of the case, which is helpful for the endless PC/PS2/Whatever games that came in sleeves, and I can now give them a home :D

Your Wii Point cards come in cases?

Stupid Europe. All we get is plastic bubbles.

I think someone reported getting the white DVD cases in the states somewhere, and that they got them from Gamestop.

I can't prove this either way. I'd buy them from GS to get cases for all the games Nintendo sends out in stupid cardboard cases.

aw man shipreck is a mean ass dood...

look what he said about City Connection!!

Okay, so of course the first thing you would do if you owned a hatchback that could jump and paint roads white and shoot globs of oil at cats and police cars would be to shut this game off immediately and not do any of that stuff. Goodness gracious, who was really wanting to play some City Connection? I know you're just releasing ROMs on the Virtual Console, Nintendo, but did this one just come in some "Super Torrent Set", because I can't imagine you actively sought this one out. - ship

man City Connection is the sheeyit... I always wish I could be like the main character and drive around like him...

I guess sum ppl dont really understand...
lilboo can you put the blocks required next to the Wii Ware in the OP?
I'll work on it this week and put it in the next update :)

We need a thumbs up smiley :(

...We got a cardboard sleeve. :whistle2:(

I guess you guys are entitled to something for the massive game delays over the years, but that makes our packaging pale in comparison.

Really? I've never seen that before. I'll have to check next time I'm there.

hows Brawl?

In the US: I just got a Wii Points card at Target a few minutes ago - plastic bubble, no case. My Wii Sports in cardboard, no case. Lucky for me one of my Blockbusters gives away empty Wii game cases all the time.

My local GameStops had Wii Points cards that came in white DVD cases at launch and some time after that but recently I've only seen the regular Wii Points packages just like everyone else.
hows Brawl?
To be completely honest, sucks. Awful Adventure mode and a crappy online service as well.

Don't listen to Doomed. Look at the nut he has quoted in his sig.

I mean come on. Champagne? Obviously they'd be downing tequila.

I think Nintendo's finally come to the realization that people LIKE uniformity when it comes to their games. I love having Link's Crossbow Training in a regular White DVD case (That I had to buy). I'll have to get around to getting one for Wii Sports soon enough.

EDIT: Did ANYONE, either of good mind or not download City Connection? If so, block information, please. And yes, I am THAT GUY who cares about this sort of crap.

I didn't, but I am considering gifting it to people I don't like.

oh snap, im almost as excited for city connection as i am for dr mario. im going to pick up a card this payday so i can pick up dr mario for sure.
I think it was posted earlier but I'm too lazy to look for it, how many blocks does Dr. Mario have?
Less than 100. Like 93 or 96 or something.
Who else is sick and tired of waiting for Pro Wrestling, I mean seriously, fuckin seriously!!!
-Goatman
We all are (or, at least, those of us who want to Starman it up), but we've all come to accept that it's one of those situations where the chances of it happening simultaneously fall and grow with each passing week.

I mean, for every instance of something not showing up, my patience decreases. And yet, oddly, because something other than what we want gets released, that basically means there's a slightly higher chance Game X appears later on.

Sheesh. Talk about a Catch 22.

Hah. Funnily enough, Pro Wrestling and Earthbound both incorporate Starmen. Maybe NoA just hates Starmen.

"I beg to differ!"
SUPER AWESOME.

No seriously, I have lost all interest in Brawl. I dont buy many wii games, as they are 50-60 euro, which is 78-93 dollars.

It's been rated for a while now. Like...2 months.

Remember on the Genesis, if you had Sonic & Knuckles it opened up and you could put Sonic 3 in and you can play as Knuckles on Sonic 3? You could do the same with all 3 sonic games.

Basically, it needs to be that this will work if you have a sonic game + Sonic & Knuckles game downloaded. Of course, this won't happen :(

Oh yeah, I totally remember that! The cartridge with the flip-top! Now I'm wondering if anything like this was included in my Sonic Mega Collection.

I can see that, but no one has said anything about it! :nottalking:

Yes, they have those, even the dreaded S&K + Sonic 1 endless bonus stage.

The Sonic and Knuckles versions of the games are in Mega Collection, as unlockable features.

The thing is, I'm pretty sure it'd require a second ROM to replicate that on the Virtual Console. In the interest of not linking to a site with the word "emulation" in its URL, Googling the phrase "lock-on technology" will show you what I mean - there are guides on how to combine the Sonic 3 ROM and the Sonic and Knuckles ROM into one file, so you can play the lock-on version of the game.

Well they are going to have to do that. If you saw Sonic 3, OR Sonic 3 and Knuckles for the same price which one are you going to choose? Besides Sonic and Knuckles is basically the second half to Sonic 3 because they could not complete Sonic and Knuckles in time for the release of 3, and when you play through S&K it links into 3.

This week Europe got Pokémon Puzzle League - (N64/1000 Points), Burning Fight - (Neo Geo/900 Points), and Samurai Shodown - (Neo Geo/900 Points).

Speaking of Europe, does anyone know when we'll get more WiiWare games? We haven't got any since our first week of them, which started on May 20th.

You don't get anymore, bastards :nottalking:
Not until WE get Toki Tori.
Then we'll give you pOp ^_^

About to download lords of thunder because there probably won't be a decent snes or 64 game for a year. Would like to get f-zero 64 but won't because they don't have the addon pack for it.

I did not agree to that.

:bomb: If they get this next week, there's NO reason why we shouldn't get it ASAP!!! :bomb:
