Will Joel finally leave his fiancee in GGT 132? No, he is a bad person.

The elder scrolls art style has always been kind of meh.
Truth. Probably one of the reasons I've never been able to really get into it. Still want to destroy some dragons, though.
Unless of course I'm actually chu, as was stated in my blog today.
I'm not.
Mysteriously after posting this more chu comments appeared in my blog.
Wasn't me.

EDIT:

Wait...totally was. Nevermind.
Really? Doesn't seem like you mentioned chu to me.

I'm going to get the $149 version. I really need one of those things it comes with.

Plus I really loved Oblivion. I played it for nearly 2 hours.

Oooh, you're a sneaky one.

But I can edit too.

Skyrim's a must play for me as I loved Oblivion.

No interest in statues and art books etc. at any price. I'm undecided if I'll buy it at launch or not though. I have a hard time finding time for those kind of long games during the academic year. So I may wait for a deal and play it next summer.

Or get it and plow through it over winter break maybe depending on what else I'm playing at the time.
I really wish I'd grabbed thongs of virtue for 50% off now. :(
That makes two of us. I'm seriously thinking that I may just not do the preorder thing now and just pick up Bloodrayne when it drops.

Well, if I do the math, I save $3 with each preorder.
that's $12.
So one of the games is basically free.
And I get extra stuff.
And I get free Heist, which is $20.
so I pay like $48 and get $80 worth of games? I'm okay with that.
I just know that I'll want to play Thongs of Virtue before I play The Baconing.

Yeah, I guess my problem is that I haven't heard much about any of them aside from Baconing, Bloodrayne, and 3SO and don't know if it'd be worth it.

The Heist is sort of like L4D but with a bank heist AFAIK; dynamically generated enemies/maps/etc, 4 player coop, BANK HEISTS. Sounds great to me!

Is it made by Valve? You weren't kidding when you said it looked like L4D, it looks exactly like it. Looks great, too! Definitely in for it!

Edit: Nvm, totally glossed ovver the devs in the trailer.

Agreed.
Hank will buy it.
I'm buying Skyrim, not the $149 version of it though.

I just want to fuck dragons up in it.
I have a friend that wants Skyrim just to "fuck dragons up." The random encounters of dragons seems like the biggest draw to a lot of people who will be disappointed that they're not fuckin' shit up as soon as they start the game. Day 1 for me, though.
Dude, your friend sounds like my kind of bro.
You know you will too since you love Oblivion so much.
I can't wait to get him some Gothic 4 when the Xmas sale hits. ^__^

Hook him up with a copy of Recettear too.
I know more "bro gamers" than actual "gamers." Same dude just shoots everything in Fallout with no regard for the story or consequences. The dude I live with feels the same way. He tried Fallout for an hour, did the intro, got bored, then decided to just kill everything he saw. Went back to COD and never touched the game again. Whenever Skyrim is brought up, it's always about the random dragon encounters and how cool it looks. :\

EDIT: Maybe it's just my friends so I shouldn't say "a lot", but even at GS the dudes use the dragon encounters to back up their pleas for pre orders.
When people ask me if I play games, I say yeah. Next question immediately is "Do you play Calladuty?" I say "Nope." and they look at me like I'm insane.

I love it.

Really? You're surprised over people being pissed off at 24/7 online DRM? You cannot possibly be that out of touch with your customers.
Welcome to modern gaming. The Big Corporation is out of touch with the Consumer Base. That's true in just about any market lately.

And that's exactly why I don't buy Activision games. :nottalking:
Renegade Ops is the new game from Just Cause 2 developer Avalanche Studios, which is a top-down dual-stick shooter using the same engine as JC2. Kind of reminds me of a better-looking Assault Heroes.

Yeah, my thoughts as well. I liked Assault Heroes, and this seems much better still.

Don't you dare.

Now that does sound appealing to me. Despite the awful name.

All the games, save Deathspank look awesome to me. I'm okay on Deathspank, but really wish I'd bought the second one. :(

I need a competent team for getting this last achievement in ISTP... I was like 55m away with a team this afternoon and the dude choose poorly. :\

I feel the same after looking up everything. It doesn't bother me too much that I didn't buy Deathspank 2, though. I'll just put off playing the third till I get the second.

That's my plan -- must fight the urge to buy at full price.

I believe in you, man! You gotta fight that! I don't know about you, but after playing the first game I just can't bring myself to buy the second at full price.

I'm seriously looking forward to playing Bloodrayne. That game looks so fucking great.

I didn't buy it because I never had enough extra PSN monies to get it and still haven't finished the first so I didn't care enough. I wasn't planning on getting the third one except that it's in the bundle.
Thongs of Virtue was on sale a few times in June, so you guys should've bought it then.
I know.

When The Baconing wasn't part of this new "Summer of PSN" promotion, I wasn't going to buy it. Now that I'll be buying it and have played the first, I feel the need to play the second, hence my lament.
I play, but don't own any copies of the games and I'm better than most people I know that play it daily. I know what you mean, though. Then they ask if you play Halo, and you say no, so they ask "WELL WTF DO YOU PLAY THEN?!"
FPS gaming I mean.

At least until that Sonic FPS is released.
Don't tease me you dirty girl.

This, right here, all of this.

There has only been one time where somebody didn't ask me if I played those games. It was a girl in my networking class who loved fighters, thank god not everybody is like the former around here. @_@
Actually, yes, surprisingly. Totally caught me off guard, too.
Nice, get in touch with her and hook her up with Joel.
She sounds like quite a catch, Uraizen! You should get dem digits.

Why didn't you rush that shit down?
She was taken and so was I.

Yeah, that's pretty much most gamers here.

Rest all play dat Madden.
