Will the Lakers finish off the Timberwolves tonight?

What a crazy last shot by Fisher! That would have been awesome if it sent it into overtime. But Shag fouled out, so he wouldnt have been able to play.
 
Yeah that was a great shot.

Overall, a good game. The Lakers came back from a rather large deficit, but it wasn't enough.

Looking forward to game 6!

The Twolves might win the next game, I sort of have a feeling they will. I hate to say it but they aren't going to win the series. Hopefully the Pistons can put up a good fight.

A few points: (note sarcasm)

Is anyone else sick of the 'Kobe is so strong and heroic because he goes from Court to Court"? Dang makes me wish OJ still played football when he was in court.

What a great person, it really sucks that I can't watch the T-wolves play the lakers because I don't want to have my sons ask "What is sexual assualt?" What is adultry? Why was that guy late for the game?

Is this story part of Kobe's defense? Subliminal perhaps but I think they are trying to plant the idea that "He couldn't have raped that woman cause he is in a homosexual relationship of some sort with Karl Malone." in the jury pool.

Nothing makes you prouder than Kobe's defense team trying to get around the Shield Law stating that a person's past history is not relavant to a sexual assualt trial. Oh I just love hearing Kobe basically say, well she deserved it or she was asking for it...just look at what a slut she has been.

Well that is enough of a rant, thank you starman9000 for raising my blood pressure.

well from the way you talk, you were obviously there and heard her say No.

what is the evidence against him?

the fact that she sleeps around, and i believe she was also checked into a mental facility before.

when i said that she's a whore and that after having sex with her, she went and had sex with another man, was obviously meant as me saying that it was more than likely consentual, and that she wasnt raped.

when i said she just wants money, i obviously meant that she wasnt raped, she is just claiming to have been raped, because she knows he's rich, and she probably figured if she claimed to have been raped, she would either get a paid by Kobe just to shut the hell up, or she'd end up getting money by prosecuting him.

1st off, a whore isnt someone who has "had sex before".. if so, anybody who is not a virgin would be classified as a whore.

2nd i said that since she likes to have casual sex, she more than likely was not forced to have sex. After reading that, you thought i meant that she had no right to say no?

3rd i said she just wants money. Anyone who is not a dumbass would realize that i meant she is claiming to have been raped just so she could get money.


But i'd like to hear about the evidence against him. What evidence do you have that leads people to believe that she was raped?
 
Why would Kobe even rape a woman (I really don't think he raped her)? His wife is damn hot.
 
You ask alot about the evidence against him yet you keep putting out as fact rumor. "The fact she sleeps around" you say, where is the proof of this, even if there is it really doesn't matter. If your Sister (or my sister for that matter) slept around does that take away her right to say no? If this was your mother or sister would you be so quick to say "she must have wanted it" Even if my sister was a 'slut' and slept with everyone I still would fight for her right to say no. I don't claim to say Iknow she said no, but you seem to be convinced that it WAS consensual. There is some evidence, but we have wait and hope for a fair trial for the truth to come out. I don't know if he is guilty or not, but I want to know everything first. Really he has more strikes against him more than her as he is MARRIED, he has a strike against him in my mind as even if he didn't rape her he was doing something that he shouldn't have been doing. He shouldn't go to jail for adultry, however it taints my image of him.

If she checked into a thousand mental facilities really shouldn't matter, IF she said no. Has Kobe been in a mental facility before? If not what is his excuse for his crime (either rape or adultry)?

I am gonna wait for the evidence, but in my mind he has a strike against him as he is a married man who committed adultery. Perhaps he raped, perhaps he didn't, no matter what he is no hero.

And I'm thinking, he is married and shouldn't be in that position anyway, He is innocent until proven guilty but he takes many strikes because of his adultery, his statement to police, and the blood. I'm writing in favor of the notion that we need to stop treating kobe like a hero because of his ability to play well the same day as a trial thing. He shouldn't have been in that position to begin with, so I'm not gonna cut him any slack. He might be guilty, he might not, but no matter what he is not someone I want my kids watching.
 
i agree that whether or not it was rape, he did commit adultery, and shouldn't be made to look like a hero when he shows up for a game late because he was in court.
 
During the latest NBA playoff broadcast the following statements came up (not exact quotes)

Kobe came back from his sexual assualt hearing today from Colorado.

Kobe's defense team is arguing for the defendants past sexual history to be admitted.

DNA samples from Bryant's semen is being check along with a pair of 'dirty' underwear from the defendant. (Checking sexual history i.e. sperm deposits in underwear of the defendant)

There is blood on the chair, which is not disputed by either side.



Gee this is all stuff I want my kids to hear.

But by the same thinking, why would he cheat on that? And at the very minimum he's admitted to that.

And who thought Clinton was a hero for... you know... "doing his job while having a job done to him"? Publically anyway, heh. I don't think anyone seriously advocated it, the same way people are talking about Kobe now. But I'm gonna stop now.
