Edit: Quick question, is it any XBLA game that it comes with or a specific one? If it comes with a crappy pool game then I'm starting to think this may be less of an awesome deal. $39 for 12+1 card is starting to sound decent cause I can by it anytime. Opinions?
 
I almost gave up last night at 2:00am EST because it hasn't been that late when it was up before. It was in stock at 2:07am. So if you are checking for this from 11:30pm to 2:30am EST weekdays seems to be the times it has been on.

Seriously starting to think this deal isn't worth it :( Sure the extra M$ points would be great (don't need an extra headset), but I'm thinking the 12+1 card for $39 comes with free shipping (if I remember correctly), so that extra $10 is worth my sleep. If these were posted during the day, I would have a very different feeling, but I needs me my sleep. Thanks everyone!

It's $29.99 with $3.99 shipping = $33.98 total shipped. It's a good deal even if you throw away the game. Retail price for everything without the game:
12 + 1 months Live = $49.99
Xbox 360 headset = $19.99 (we have had some break so a spare is nice)
200 MS points = $1.60
Total = $71.58 plus tax
You save $41.59 not counting the game which retails for 800 MS points or $10.00 on Live but maybe $4.98 at another store.
(also not counting tax or shipping because they would cancel each other out)

This is great value for some, but your logic implies that I would be purchasing all these items separately. I'm only after the 12+1 and some M$ points. Will I pay more? Yes, absolutely. But I'll be able to make it in to work in the morning :p

These are just my $0.02, but I totally understand the value here.
 
I'll be playing Fable 2 late night since I'm off work tomorrow. Anyone want to put together a watch club for tonight? What time is the usual in-stock listing?

Keep in mind, you should probably log into your Amazon accounts before you try to buy this and either turn on one-click ordering, or just save your self some time from having to log in. I got beat a few nights ago as I was checking out, having to re-enter all my credit card info since I moved into a new house. Clicked order, and then OOS, so I will not be beaten again!

I hear you about getting up to go to work the next day. I just think that the 12 + 1 month Live card is a great deal by itself for $29.99 they retail for $49.99 everywhere and you can find them sometimes for about $39 if you are lucky. You are still saving $20 or $10 for just the Live card.

CAG is different. Other gaming sites form around competition honestly. We can't compete with one another here. Our competition are the e-tailers and bricker and mortar stores. We have to band together for deals. It's like some sort of brotherhood.

Plus, people want to contribute. Who doesn't want a week of acclaim for find a great deal on a game or accesory.

Deal is live, just got one

And, as of 21:42 it is sold out

One is back up since I cancelled my order. I had buyer's remorse even at such a great price. I don't have the money to keep spending on games and etc.

I got one but I am pissed off cause I needed one for my gf to. So now I guess this one will go to her. I had 2 in cart and of course my cart cause of stupid amazon had saved items that was being a bitch to remove. And as I removed it the quantity went less and less I can't believe I even got one though. Hopefully tomorrow get another one.
