Agree the sales are very Meh so far...still tempted by Thief, but at that price I probably will not be getting it. I'm guessing deals of $10 and under aren't going to be plentiful this sale.

The game has only been out 1.5 months. Were you expecting 75% off? They need to recoup their costs.

Don't do it. Thief was hard to play, and I've played the other Thied games since the first one. I rented it, played for a hour, and gave up. It just seems to be lacking substance, and it outright frustrating.

In games like skyrim or even fallout I usually go all stealth, so figured Thief would be something I'd be into. Still stuck on the price, so won't be buying it. $12 seems odd, if it was $8 I'd bite...
 
Anyone try magic 2015 on Xbox one yet ?

The BioShock Infinite complete edition came out in early November. I told some friends today that I expected that to hit $15 before the digital season pass did. Checking Amazon, it's $24.99 right now. Don't feel like searching to see what it cost on Black Friday.

 
How is titanfall? would anyone recommend it? i only have a 360 so that would be the version im referring to. Im not big on games that are just all online only that have no soul outside of being online. From what Ive gathered, the game looks like its strictly online only but it looks intriguing and that price for the game and season pass is really good. and does anyone know how the community is.. i dont want to jump into a game and it be dead in a month.

First person stealth action game. Failed reboot of a classic PC series from the turn of the century.

I actually like it better than the more highly regarded Dishonored which came out in Fall 2012, but that is a super minority opinion and my cross to bear.

Buying retail games digitally isn't bad when it's stuff like NCAA Football 14 that runs $80-$90 for a disk, or some of the stuff on the Wii U VC like Final Fight 2/3, Dracula X, all of the Mega Man games, Fire Emblem GBA, and of course Earthbound.

I've heard bad things about it from friends, but I think it had positive reviews. All my friends that played it on 360 hated it. All my friends that played it on X1 loved it. I think another developer ported it from the Xbox One version so it has a few problems like any port. A big complaint they had was that the game didn't "feel smooth". That definitely isn't a problem on Xbox One.

Online should stay active at least throughout the holidays. If the community dies after that, think of it as a long rental. Price is a little higher than a rental, but you are also keeping it longer.

I don't know what issues your friends had, but I've been playing it on 360 since launch and I've had no problems.

The only real issue was having patches/DLCs one month later :/

 
Great I will be buying a lot of games I may or may never play just because they're on sale with all these good deals. I'm already a level 5 VIP in the xbox rewards program and bought over 70 digital titles so far...can't beat the convenience at least! Just bought costume quest 2...hope it's decent atleast haha

Let me start out by saying i dont own an xbox one. I have a ps4 and 360...

Ok that is out of the way. Titanfall is my personal game of the year. After being burned out on halo and cod, I thought that mp fps were over for me. Titanfall IMO changed the whole market. The massive amount of fun in this game is crazy. I bought it at launch and im still playing it.

Mecs and wall running will kill every other mp fps for me. The graphics and framerate are wonderful for a last gen game. Im sure the X1version is even better but i dont have that system lol.

Its only 12 bucks. If any of you are burned out of cod or halo give it a shot. I never have a problem getting a game. Its a really neat game that more people should play or replay. The game has changed a ton since launch.

No no, I was right the first time. Some of these games I will definitely play in the very near future, just not necessarily all of them. It is a bad habit that I have though just like all those Humble Bundle deals...I have around 600 games in my steam library and probably have played around 30 of them.

Not even mad I can't transfaer Onigiri chars from the Japanese version. I played a week or so and it was fun, but I'd rather restart it in a while when I even understand what the hell is going on with the storyline and stuff.

Excellent news, and I think I even called this when you first mentioned about having possible news to share a few days back (not that it was hard to guess imo). Best thing about it? Easier access to all for catgirl achievement wallpapers.

Not quote related, but stream related. Played Jackbox on Twitch for a couple hours last night. Played one of each game with a full group, except for the 100 person game (only had 15 players). No connection issues.
 
Don't know if anyone knows but you can buy the Assassins Creed Black Flag Season Pass for Xbox 360 that is on sale, then you can get the Xbox One version for free, I did this a couple of nights ago.

There's a main menu "Store" option and that's the only thing I've encountered. Other than the expansion it's all completely optional and I haven't seen any other prompts for it. If that's being harassed all the time I'm not sure how you play any video games these days.

Edit- It also will take you to the store from the card collection if you select a card you don't have. Selecting it shows how to get it in game then pressing A again will take you to the store or B will close the message telling you how to get it in game. X will take you to buy foils but I don't know why anyone would ever do that. Hardly harassment.

Thanks for the update. I haven't played this version so I didn't know how intrusive the micro-transactions were. Another poster seemed to make it seem like they were intrusive and an annoyance. I'll probably go ahead and pick it up for $5 then, I love me some Magic, but can't keep up with the physical card game anymore due to it being way too expensive and time consuming.
