Same here. Bungie/Activision just guaranteed I won't buy that expansion. What a load of BS. What does the Xbox version even get with all that timed exclusivity? The new subclasses and a few hours of campaign? For $40?!?
 
I might be replacing my launch XB1 with the new 1tb model. Is the preview program tied to your console and not your profile? I want to be sure to stay in the preview program if I get a new console.
 
I, too, am out of the Destiny life.

The Taken King minimal story edition is great for new people to get all those things, but for those that have pre-orderd and played since the beginning, especially on Xbox, it is meh-ugh-insertpoopsmileyhere.

You don't even get new enemies/races that people have been claiming. You get a giant different colored Crota (his dad), different shaded & colored enemies from the fallen, hive, and cabal (now called Taken), and more ways to grind for 3 months until the next $40 DLC.

Been missing out on playing so many other better games with actual stories and content for so long. To the backlog! 

(For $40, I'd rather pay for the Gears 1 remake).

As much as this pisses me off, sadly I'll probably end up getting it. Destiny is addicting as fuck and there aren't many active multiplayer games left on the 360.

I'll probably use it as something to tide me over until I get a Xbox One.

Well, yeah. Has there ever been a period where XBL weekly sales beat PSN's? I think there was one time several months ago but that's about it.
 
Another week of overpriced games on demand and an 1 XBLA game. Who the fuck is in charge of this anymore. Who thinks that never putting XBLA games on sale is going to sell anything. Is someone in Xbox headquarters thinking "______ hasen't been on sale in 2 years and no one is buying it, if we hold out one more year, the floodgates will open!"

Feels sketchy as hell, but Shenmue fans playing on PC and PS4 will not question the morality :/

Square Enix should really give their projects more time to incubate as opposed to show them off to the public and make them wait a few years and hope they remember it to play it. Nothing they do (at least from the non Crystal Dynamics side) gets me excited since they take fucking forever or don't even show up this generation or just scrapped entirely.

Unless it has Lightning. And no one wants Lightning.

Didn't they stress how it was not "their" game before announcing the Kickstarter? How it was all about the fans. It is so weird how the Sony presser looks more and more what MS would have done 2 years ago. Being on top of the heap can make you do stupid things sometimes.

To be fair Sony would had cancel the project if they didn't have enough people buying it in return.

Many of the fans grew up and stopped playing games and moved on.

Whatever we're getting Shenmue 3 and I still didn't fund jack.

Yeah, the issue isn't that the people that contributed to the Kickstarter campaign (aside from the $5 ones) are getting something back, but that the whole thing was just misrepresented and shady.

If Sony wanted to use Kickstarter as their interest-gauge, they should've said that, instead of portraying it as if they were good guys giving Yu a stage to help him get funding for his own game to be paid for by fans.

Not exactly, they say they are a development partner. Which can mean a lot of things including paying them for timed exclusivity.

So, I popped in the Perfect Dark disc and waited for a prompt to download the thingamajiggie as prompted by the steps.

Nothing happened. So I tried to restart with the disc inside - nothing. Its part of the list of games that should work, so has anyone tried Perfect Dark and can you confirm if it worked for you?

You have to wait until it says "install game" and then click on that.
