So did anyone else get an email from SendSuite via MS about an incoming package?

I think I know what it is, but I'm not sure. The email is really devoid of info. All I know is it's being shipped via UPS, the date July 7th is mentioned and the tracking info yields nothing as of yet.

Hope it'll be here Friday so I can solve this mystery soon.

I bought it a few days ago and have had a lot of fun playing it with my nine-year-old. It's hectic but silly at the same time. Now my wife wants me to buy a third controller so she can play with us!
 
Very interesting that MS dropped the price of Shadow Of Mordor GOTY to be in line with PSN and Steam sales, I hope this is a sign of them being more progressive in the future and not like what happened with Shovel Knight

it's a great couch co op game.

@TheOldGuy: if you want an interesting workaround, the game actually allows a split controller option, where 1 player uses left thumbstick + LB + LT and player 2 uses right thumbstick + RB + RT. So you and your wife can actually share a controller and all play.

Also, B button in that game is Dash. It makes you faster and I have no idea why they never tell you that in the game or in the controls. I almost beat the game before I accidentally figured it out.

I have a similar problem but not on the Xbox One S (the vcr Xbox One) and where I have to unplug my puck and plug it back in to get the audio through my headset. I also found unplugging the USB cord and plugging it back in gets the sound to come back through. Not sure what the deal is.

 
So Gat out of Hell is basically Volition saying fuck it lets just do the most bat-shit crazy story we can think of and I love it.

 
I finished Wolfenstein New Order last night and wanted to start Old Blood today but the disc drive on my One S seems to be dead. It won't take in the disc at all. I checked that there's not another disc in there already and I did a hard reboot a couple times, but no luck. Any advice on things to try? The only suggestion I found online was the reboot.

But if that means $20 come November with a X patch then I'm all for it ;)

I'm curious how it will turn out. I've bought every Saints Row and loved them all.

Spartan Ops was a lot of fun at the time, a great little co-op experience. Might I suggest grabbing some friends or party up for that mode.

Widowmaker is fun to play as if she fits team comp, but too many people lock into her (or Genji) at low-to-mid levels of play and then do nothing but take up space and miss all game.

I bet this is WB's doing. It makes perfect sense for them to get as many people as possible to play the first at this point to get more interest in the sequel. Weird that it didn't start on the normal day though.

Yeah, Spartan Ops was bottom of the barrel. It was made even worse by the fact that it originally took months and months for the second half to release. 343 really thought people would like Fireteam Majestic and I think they were the most unlikeable characters they've created aside from Palmer, which is really saying something.

It's at least more fun playing with people, but for some reason they didn't include Matchmaking for the mode in MCC.

Um what? I'm guessing the people that are playing as that character suck because that's a potent sniper class with way OP abilities. Like the grappling hook, if you got a ledge, you can grapple up there and sniper's nest! Height advantage is always a plus with any shooter. Also her Ultimate can really help out the team, Infa-Sight allows others to see people through walls, um yeah that's an important aspect to have on your team. I'm usually Soldier 76, sometimes Reinhardt and occasionally Pharoah. Although I'll play a character that benefits the team and Widowmaker can make short work of the element of surprise & ambushes.

My problem with Spartan Ops and a lot of the Halo co-op issues (pre Halo 5) was the input lag/latency during co-op sessions. I believe in Spartan Ops the host would have 1:1 movement where as the guest there would be a splitt second of lag everytime you aimed/took fire/moved etc. You would get use to it pretty fast though and all the Halo co-op experiences were great.

It's hard to explain but if you've played co-op in Halo MCC the issue is still present in a lot of games. I recall Bungie basically saying they weren't going to fix it because it would take a lot of re-working the netcode and other issues. I'm sure someone can link to a in depth discussion as to why it's there and why it won't be fixed in past games.

I am just praying to our lord Phil Spencer that we see a 4k/60fps (Halo 2 anniversary had some drops from what I recall) patch for both Halo 5 and Halo MCC. I know Halo MCC is a black eye on the community in terms of bugs that are still standing, but having a 4k patch would be quite nice to have to play custom games with friends and the single player campaign.

Gat Out Of Hell came out two years ago. It's much more in the vein of Crackdown than SRIV was.

And Volition pulls that off brilliantly.

I go to two games in a row where low level players (under 30 with no stars) both went Widowmaker on offense. It might as well have been 5 on 6 because they would hide in the back and get no kills.

I would much rather play no sniper and double tank on offense. Widowmaker makes sense if it's defense and the player can hit things. Just frusterating especially if the healer is already playing Zenyatta or Ana, we don't need the extra sniper.
 
So I tried redeeming Bing Rewards for the $5 Xbox GC and keep getting auto-declined.

Is this happening to anyone else or am I banned? Never used a bot, not sure why I'd be banned all of a sudden.

Edit: Yeah, I think I'm banned. God damnit.

I ordered one on my account and one on my wife's this week. Mine got declined and took a few days to reimburse the points, when it did I re-redeemed and it went through. My wife's went through the first time but it took a few days to come in.

 
Seeing it for $4 makes me glad I traded in my physical copy of Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor GOTY to Gamestop last weekend.

I am having the same issue. I have submitted several times and it goes through and gives order confirmation, but then I get email saying "oops, something went wrong" and no rewards. I am new to BING rewards and only used it a couple times, but wouldn't think I was banned (have not done anything wrong).

 
I never got into LOTR, is Mordor still worth it? For $4, it sounds worth it given all the praise I've heard for it.

I'm officially hooked on Andromeda. Have been up the last 2 nights, and when the SP starts to feel tiresome (sooo many sidequests) I end up playing MP for too long. Part of me wants to rush through it before classes resume, but I may have to take breaks and play other things. I did the same thing with Fallout 3, I was either playing it nonstop for a whole weekend or not touching it for a month.

People asking about Overcooked - it's a lot of fun with other people but it gets very challenging very quickly. I played it for the first time on the 4th with my best friend and her husband, and they aren't as motivated by the "one-more-try!" mentality to beat a level or win 3 stars. I think enjoyment depends on who you're playing with, in that regard. Apparently some people have fun playing solo where you control multiple chefs and alternate between them, but I don't know if I'm that cool.

Another "master the level and get 3 stars" type of game? To me, that's as bad as the CCG genre to other people. That's the main reason I stopped playing the Assassin's Creed Chronicles games. I enjoyed them for what they are but some part of me wants to get 3 stars on every part but I don't care to go back and master every section.

 
I Finally played video games again after two or three months of working on costume projects with friends and came to a conclusion...video games are fun.
