disc or digital? where did you buy the base game and for how much? i paid $90 for the digital gold edition but i justified it because i paid using xbox live credit that i got for 20-30% off.

I paid $40 for the base game on disc the day it came out via ebay with a sitewide discount code. $27 for the pass today, $67 total. The deluxe edition content seems pretty superfluous so I'm not concerned about it.

I didn't know they were giving a skin away tonight or I would've posted sooner. The quests tab wasn't there until they mentioned just before 7 Eastern that they were setting it up. I don't know if they mentioned it early on, I had it muted until the Phillies game ended. I saw people asking about a weapon in the chat, but I figured that was just the regular begging.

Ego Draconis was released first, then they later released Dragon Knight Saga with better graphics and some additional content. I was more than a little annoyed when that happened. I never did finish Ego Draconis as a result. I'd rather have the game with better graphics and more content go BC personally.

Just finished A Quiet Place. Fantastic movie. Probably the best horror film I’ve seen since the original Alien. That good.

Sound design, cinematography and acting all top notch.

I'm still amazed that Jim from The Office was able to co-write, direct and star in a movie that's getting near universal praise. Pretty happy that he's one of those guys that didn't decide to be type cast or be forgotten after the series ended.

Indeed. Not sure how I feel about him playing Jack Ryan in the new Amazon series coming up. But he did a phenomenal job directing this. His wife was also damn good (and is hot, but not so much in this).

I thought he was great in 13 Hours. I think he'll do well as Jack Ryan. The character has often been portrayed as more analytical rather than physical. I think John Krasinski presents the potential for a great balance between those two aspects.

did you preorder online for in-store pickup? you might want to check any emails you got regarding the purchase. also check best buy's forums to see if this is a known issue. i've had to deal with it for previous preorder bonuses.

if you preordered in-store, i think you should have the code on your receipt. but i haven't preordered at BB in years, so things may be different.

I would like both to go BC, yes Dragon Knight is the superior version but would be nice to have more options, I am interested in the game so will probably hold out till I find this version

Haha I’m all right, not anything special, but I happen to love the Halo campaigns and ODST is far and away my favorite. Took me a minute to remember we were on Legendary but then muscle memory took over. Also I have a buddy who’s usually down to join if we ever need a fourth. And like you said, if anyone else needs a Halo buddy definitely let me know (preferably not H4 but I’d consider it).

My component cable for the OG Xbox came today and it's insane how much better games look with it compared to composite. Unfortunately it seems like the HDD died or something. My saves and the custom dashboard are still there, but I can't access any of the applications that let me run the ripped games or even the software that rips them to begin with. Hopefully my co-worker will be able to do something tomorrow.

Really though, I can buy just about everything I had ripped at $3 a pop, so I'll probably just chip away at them. At worst the modded Xbox still reads discs fine, and if something becomes BC on Xbox One I'll be playing it there anyways. This job is going to be bad for my limited gaming budget. I picked up Soul Calibur III today since I never played it before, and now I have to dig through my PS2 stuff and hope one of them is working.

Just took a risk and cashed out some Microsoft Rewards points for a $10 gift card, and thankfully I got the code instead of it being automatically deposited.  Don't know how long that will last, so gonna try it on my wife's account too.  Hopefully we get a code on her end too.

If you're worried about the multiple accounts thing, they were mostly banning people that redeemed points quickly from a few accounts. I assume by IP but I'd imagine they track what account codes are used on too.

The only thing I'm worried about is that her account is a newer one, so they may have put her on the automatic deposit already. My account has Gold, so I want to make sure to take advantage of the discounts on the Spring Sale before they go away.

I've been playing Titan Quest on the X. Seems like the last patch fixed the 4k/60fps mode and seems to hold 60fps so far outside of in certain parts of towns and heavy fire/fog effects. I'm only in Chapter 1 though. Still very buggy textures at times and aiming issues when you have a summon. They are working on more patches so assuming It's gonna be a good month before 100% fixed. But for now if you have a Diablo itch and don't mind the few bugs It's not bad at all. Looks and runs pretty decent for a 11 year old game. Fixes the Diablo itch. Hoping Victor Vran gets the 4k treatment down the road to...

Wait did something change? Reward redemptions are directly deposited into your account? Codes aren’t issued anymore? I hope that’s not the case.
