I was skimming the sales again on the dashboard and I was like "Pillars of Eternity"? Why does that sound soooo familiar? Then I quickly remembered that I had just read about it in Blood, Sweat, and Pixels while on vacation less than two weeks ago (incredible book BTW). I had no idea they ported it to consoles.

Anyone have any opinions?

I don't know why I didn't think mobile. Based on the picture and title I thought "they can't possibly be making a Kinect keflings game, can they?" Have xbox too on the mind. Mobile does make way more sense, which is somewhat unfortunate. May check it out depending on price and gameplay, but would've picked it up no problem on console. I had a lot of "zone out and not focus hard" fun with the first two.
 
I've been playing Feral Fury on Xbox One on and off since Thursday. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Binding of Isaac style games. In fact, I like it more than BOI. It can be tough starting out until you earn enough coins for the weapon and speed upgrades, but then once you have a few of those, it becomes really satisfying. Well worth the cheap asking price if you have Gold.
 
FFXV Assassins Festival ends on the 31st. Still surprised how much Assassins Creed content is in FFXV. Access the content from the main menu under special at any time (although the game recommends after chapter 7).

AC Origins only got a short quest and some Easter eggs related to FFXV.

I recently finished AC:Origins and I loved it. I was on the fence with FFXV and thought about getting into it but the AC Festival ends too soon. I'm worried I won't have enough time to complete it. I hate timed promos. If they they are going to go through the trouble of creating a campaign then they should just leave it in the game for everyone to enjoy!

 
Being in the South for 27 years, I haven’t cared all that much about the NFL, but think I need to change that and root for my hometown Eagles tonight.

Looking like some EA for tomorrow.  Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, Battlefront 2 and NBA Live 18 are counting down for date night.  NBA will probably flip from non-Gold for the free play weekend to Gold.

I Think a good portion of them were around 30-50% off during one of the PSN Holiday sale weeks, but I think this maybe the first sale since they switched over to F/X 3 for the One.

I'm pretty sure that'll happen regardless. Part of me wants to see Philly win it all. I want to see if I can see happy riot fires all the way from halfway across the state.

Although as long as the refs Pats lose in two weeks, that's all that truly matters.
 
Playing Black for the first time, do have to wonder what made the game reviewed so well.  This is just going off the first mission.

Maybe I'm just spoiled with all the advancements in technology, but felt like I was playing a shooting gallery.

EDIT: It'll be a spiritual successor to Goldeneye, but I'll give it more time.

As someone that has to fly to philly for business a lot I can say I hate going there. The only redeeming factor for me is the casinos! The town has just always seemed really dirty to me. And I go to a lot of major cities but Philly is the only one I don’t feel safe walking downtown. Well that one and Baton Rouge.

This is gonna be a awful super bowl to watch, fan wise. Both fanbase is probably #2-#3 in terms of attitude behind the Cowboys fanbase being at #1.

Yeah I could care less about the Super Bowl this year, F the NFL.

Now and speaking of Philly, today's game of the Flyers vs Capitals was a good one. Philly won it within seconds of the OT lol, oh snap Capitals' fans were probably stunned (although they're still in a good spot in the standings). Flyers are in the top wildcard spot atm & Colorado is actually making a Wildcard push in the Western Conference lol - Colorado was in dead last last season! My team, the Sabres, are in dead last this season so looks like I'm rooting for the Nashville Predators again.

Decided to pick up Broken Age & support Double Fine.

I believe this is correct. Pinball FX2 might still be cross buy but they never go on sale anymore.

It looks like Marvel Pinball Season 2 is 20.09, however if you buy all 4 packs separately they are 4.99+4.99+4.99+3.49 or 18.46, so you save a dollah-fitty if you buy separately.

The only good thing to come out of Philadelphia sports is the Rocky movies.

Thanks for the info , wasn't sure if you bought the tables available on 360 you could still import them to one. Lucky got most of them except WD and Bethesda tables .

FX 2 tables are no longer on the One. If you buy any of the 360 Pinball FX 2 tables that support it on the One, they only work on Pinball FX 3 and if you try and import them to FX 2 on the One it'll just say they're unavailable to purchase.

 
should i hold off on the tables that aren't discounted to 50% off? i feel like after i buy them , they're going to go even lower. the bethesda tables specifically. i know this is a crystal ball kinda question but i'd like to hear opinions.

this happened to me before with the titanfall season pass. i bought it when it went on sale and then it dropped further the next day. MS refused to do anything to make it better.
