I'm guessing a big licensing issue that would have to involve the Rhode Island government. I've actually tweeted government officials and never got a response though of course. At this point it just comes down to licensing, man hours and publishers being bitches. Man hours meaning they have to test the BC games thoroughly and they only have a small team which is why you never see a large amount of titles go BC each week (plus I'm sure MS rather drip feed the BC so you always have new games to be excited about). We already have 4k patchs for 360 BC titles so I'd imagine they have the know how to make any game BC that doesn't involve instruments or the original Kinect required to use it.

 
I got Super Dungeon Bros for the January reward. I had not gotten it yet (or multiple times like some of us) it's an okay reward for not remembering doing that quest.

Just fired up Forza Horizon and, wow, it doesn’t just look like an Xbox One game now, it looks like an Xbox One game upgraded for X. Unbelievable.

Alright, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration but it looks phenomenal.

I was curious as well and I manually counted. 240 BC 360 games for me. Too busy to turn on my 360 but guessing I have at least 100 games that aren't BC that aren't Kinect or similar titles that wouldn't go bc.

I did this at first but now currently have a excel sheet that I use to keep track of all my games, how much they cost, date bought, etc. across Xbox, PC, PS4 and as of last weekend Switch. I move games from a xbox 360 games list to an xbox 360BC list as they are announced to keep it all straight.

This page ( https://live.xbox.com/en-US/download/history ) was the one I first used just to get a baseline of 360 purchases I had made. Xbox one games wont show up here.

I'm still tempted by Kingdoms of Amalur, even though the odds of it going BC are slim. It's hard to justify however, when I still have Skyrim, Dragon Age: Origins and DA: Inquisition in the 'ol backlog.

If I only have time to play one, would you all say DA:Origins or KoA provides the better overall experience (obviously gameplay is significantly different) based on story, immersion, memorability, etc.?

 
There's no way to recover deleted messages from Xbox Live on the console, right?  Apparently there is an option to delete a whole thread and I must have done so on accident in a sick, fever ridden delirium.  I think I really only lost some Gears codes and a shark card code, but it would be nice to get back if I could.

Give MS a call. One of my older emails with a code automatically deleted and they were able to resend it to me.

hmm that's a good one, there is a time sink part in Dragon Age Origins that was such a mistake but overall it's kind of Bioware at the top of their game. Amalur honestly reminded me more of a prototype of Dragon Age Inquisition where it was kind of is this supposed to be an MMO but filled with AI. Long story short DA:O has so many memorable stuff and characters I'd go with that.

Also I'm noticing Revelations twin pack with RE Rev 1+2 is 20% off. Some Gamepass items dropped 20% off but no sign of Rev 2 ready yet.

Also, do the discounts stack? Lots of questions here, but just got gamepass last month.

So played Crackdown, FH and Fable Anniversary. All three look good but Forza is easily the crown jewel of the bunch. Have yet to try the Witcher 2.

Thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for. Since I plan to play DA:I at some point too, guess I can skip KoA entirely then. The handful of reviews I've watched/read have said praised it for the combat but said the story and especially side quests were rather forgettable in KoA so DA:O it is!

Not seeing any discounts on either of the DLC, maybe only works for X1 titles or not active.

 
Snagged a copy of crackdown for $1.50 and free shipping in case it went bc and it arrived on the day of the bc announcement.

Also noticed my physical copy of kingdoms of amalur has a dlc code in it so I'll have to try that out and see if it's still valid.

Pretty excited about the x enhanced 360 games.
 
Skate 3 was the only game I saw a diff on X one X enhanced prior, guess I got to fire up Forza now, still have achievements left

No, it doesn’t. I’m not sure what the Kinect features are, but I played last night on X1 and it worked fine. Game is kinda fun for what it is. And all the achievements except the one for beating on hardest difficulty look like they can be had on Easy so that’s a plus haha.
 
Had to use a bonus in the GTASC challenge...well at least I think I had to...one hour lef currently and only 28 above with 81 TA...better be safe than sorry...still kinda wish I had gotten more achievements hum...

EDIT: Would have been eliminated by just 1 Point got 950 TA but only those with 951 TA survived lol

It finally showed 337 titles, which if correct, means I probably half around another 60 titles that could go backwards compatible.

I just beat Fable over the weekend and then it gets the update. Oh well. Not nearly as hazy as it was when I played it. Good thing I didn't get started on the Witcher like I was planning on Sunday

At least they’re giving a full year’s notice. And damn that’s a great PS+ line up — Bloodborne and Ratchet and Clank?

Of course, I have both of those digitally from sales on PSN so not so great for me.
