After 4 years of french & 1 year of private study in German, my foreign language requirement for my BA in philosophy was fulfilled by a computer science language.

I mean the French and German helped to fumble through some of the original texts but at this point I'd need that Bart Simpson in France miracle.

Good to see you Joel! Man, I've had 3 (might have been 4?) crashes in like 2 hours of playing, and then had a game where multiple special currency things were burned but none of the generators were special, and then games where the killer dcs or crashes when they are used and causes them to be wasted, just not great experiences for me sadly, I gave up and went over to Uno instead haha :p

Mine has never done this. As soon as I put a disc in, it will most likely tell me that there is an update and ask if I want to download it. When I say yes it clearly shows two bars installing. One for disc progress and one for the update downloading.

But I do this all the time. Thanks to a data cap I routinely rent a game from Redbox for the sole purpose of installing off disc before buying digital. In fact, when there are free rental codes issued I will sometimes go rent a game I figure I will get eventually just to have most of it installed. I'm looking at you, For Honor and Prey lol.

heard nothing really great about Agents of Mayhem..but it is only 10...maybe...or finally get DA:I and finish up the xpacs also for 10

probably...i rented the game and only really wanted to play the campaign which was enjoyable to me though a lil less would be vastly better...depends on how much MP you want to play...there is also an arcade mode which is sorta single player multi but with bots

Same here - I just traded in a bunch of current games to take advantage of trade bonuses and then rebuy digital so I don’t have to swap discs on my two xboxes. Since the games were already installed, no download needed.

That’s what I did at launch and no regrets. Campaign is fine but mostly forgettable. There’s usually some Redbox codes out there to knock the price down even more.
 
Might have to bite on Agents of Mayhem. Nothing else otherwise.

Question though if someone can clarify. For the Sims 4, is the deluxe version ALL the DLC or some of it? I remember seeing the description in the past and it didn't seem the most clear unless I misread something.

 
My gut was telling me not to buy that EA bundle. Lo and behold, they list Plants vs. Zombies and Unravel separately at a  cheaper price ($13.25 vs. $16).

Now list some 360 deals before Braun Strowman destroys another instrument.

I red boxed this for two nights and was nowhere near 1/2 way through, but I’m very slow lol. I agree though, although tempted just because it’s beautiful, that it’s probably best as a rental...until it drops to <$10

Question though if someone can clarify. For the Sims 4, is the deluxe version ALL the DLC or some of it? I remember seeing the description in the past and it didn't seem the most clear unless I misread something.

I don't even know what is in the deluxe version but it's not even close to all the DLC. One specific DLC alone (the vampires) is $20.

Some of it. There's another bundle of DLC that's also on sale right now not included in the Deluxe package and a Dining Out DLC which came out not too long ago, but not on sale
 
For someone largely unimpressed/uninterested in walking sims, is Firewatch still worth a buy before the sale ends in a few hours?

I have played three walking sims:  

Gone Home

Layers of Fear

Blackwood Crossing

I liked Layers of Fear for the horror element.  I enjoyed it a lot, even.  But Gone Home and Blackwood Crossing both left me bored and I had to struggle to finish the achievements.

Think I should pull the trigger on Firewatch anyway?

 
It's been awhile but AOM played like ass on my OG X1. May be different for the S or X.

Also some cheap Gems of War add ons.

Anybody notice that the deals page on the xbox goes live at 7 now?

I don't usually do walking Sims (waste of time) and I found Firewatch to be really enjoyable. I really liked the art direction too.

For those who couldn't get Agents of Mayhem for $5 at redbox, it is definitely worth getting. Had alot of fun with it. Also on the fence about Firewatch but it screams future GWG to me.
 
Meh. Nothing for me though I may think about going digital with Agents of Mayhem. Trades for about $5 at GS and paid $5 at Redbox so would end up being $10 total anyway.

i enjoyed Firewatch...only problem was it was a bit short and the story got weird towards the end...but it is still a good and very pretty game

 
Will anyone a) admit to playing the Sims on consoles and if so, b) share any thoughts on how it plays? I can't imagine the idea of sitting on the couch playing it but I am intrigued...

It’s a good game, but just know it has a super disappointing ending.
 
DMC HD collection is $4.99. Tempting at that price, but with the re-release coming for xbox one in three weeks would it really go BC?

 
I held off on getting the Styx sequel when it was $8 on clearance at the Microsoft store because the first game was GWG and figured the second one might be at some point.  I kind of regret that now since the reviews out there make it seem like it's a pretty decent game.  Can anyone convince me one way or the other whether it is worth a digital price of $12.50 or worth waiting on?  Thanks in advance for any advice.

 
I've found Agents of Mayhem to be fun in short bursts. I don't have much fun if I try to knock out a bunch of missions in a row, but loading it up every once in a while and beating a mission or two is a good time.
