Some notes
  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

[*]All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every Tuesday.

FFXV royal edition for 25 is my price point. I would prefer physical but I think if I buy the physical disc that the DLC is not on the disc (code)
Confirmed, my $25 copy from Newegg had a vanilla disc (with a different label on it from the original release) with a single code for the 'Royal Edition' content, which includes both the season pass and the royal edition 'upgrade' which is available for $20 on XBL separately.

The disc also triggers a ~30GB update download, which I was annoyed wasn't integrated into the new retail disc, but I'm pretty sure they just put a new label on the old discs that hadn't sold yet.

For the price, it's a ton of content, and is the 'complete' edition in terms of what S-E wanted the original game to be at release. The additional content they're developing is mostly because there's a market for it.

Just a reminder, the Mixer promo (5$ GC with 9.99 or more purchase through Mixer) is still running. Just grabbed GTA:V making it like 15.
Terms say it can take up to 30 days but I think i saw someone saying they got theirs quicker than that. So with any luck it'll be here before the sales over.

Hmm, wonder if I can triple dip? Get Cuphead on sale for $17 through mixer, get the $5 GC from them and get 2000 MS reward points?

Titanfall 2 Deluxe for six bucks always tempts me, both for laziness sake and to give my disc copy to my friend. Ridiculous deal.
I always want to pick up Titanfall 2 Deluxe for $6 when it's on sale. But then I have to tell myself I have it on EA Access, and it's just cosmetics and in game currency, no dlc missions. Besides it's 20% of a year's worth of EA Access. But it's just space bucks and I can't use that for an EA Access subscription. Grrrr!

It's quite limited.
You'll first need to find a fairly popular stream of the game. If it's available it'll be advertised to buy at the top of Chat (Free gift card with purchase!). Click the link and the payment process will begin.
Edit
How do you know which streamers you can buy from before you connect to their stream? I want to buy Killer Instinct Definitive Edition since it's on sale for $9.99, but there isn't anyone streaming it. The game the broadcaster has for purchase doesn't even have to be the game they're streaming, right?

I wonder if we’ll still get a summer sale now, not like it won’t be the same shit recycled anyway but still.
We got one last year. Most of discount prices will be the same. Discounts in general have slowed down as the gen has progressed, I have not bought a game from flash sales in ages, and many digital games get the standard 30-50% discount with a few hitting the magical 60-80% off a year+ from release. Obviously there are exceptions to this rule but that seems to be the general trend.

I think they do have to be streaming the game to have that show up as a Buy It option. I had to browse through several DSR streams before I found one with a Buy It link.

Provided you can find someone streaming it, or someone who's a mixer partner that could stream it for you to buy.

If any CAGs are mixer partners and own Cuphead, you can get $4 each from all these guys wanting to buy it.

I'd be tempted to get Cuphead through Mixer but the "standard edition" terminology implies we will be seeing some sort of deluxe edition very soon.

Buy a digital edition of Cuphead Standard Edition and participate in run and gun action heavily focused on boss battles.

Jeez I cannot find any mixer streams where you can buy the game. Looking for nba 2k18 mostly, but also gta5
Let me know if you find any on GTA5. I’m also thinking about that one and the $5 back might push me over the edge.
Searched my history and found the dudes stream who I bought the game from last night. On his mixer page now above the chat it still has the option to buy the game and still has the free gift card pop up. It's currently GTA V.

Thanks for the heads up!

Edit: are you seeing it from a mobile browser? I’m not seeing a link for GTA or the $5 thing.

That's weird. I would love to buy this game digitally at 80% off but it seems it's been removed from the marketplace. Am I doing something wrong?

How do you create your list (generally, don't need the nitty gritty)?
Saw it at storeparser, but it might have been removed. It is not on Major Nelson's post either.

I'm genuinely torn. I typically play GTA V as a stress reliever, and I really want to play it again, but I really don't want to encourage Rockstar by buying the game for a 3rd time on a 3rd different system. Part of me wants to wait til the morning to see if they fix all the store stuff and/or more sales come up
Why not encourage them? They wrote a very good game that you get a ton of enjoyment out of. I bought Borderlands 2 on PS3/PS4 and XBox 360/One). I only paid full price once I think. I got thousands of hours out of it. I also got TPS twice but really didn't like it very much.

I don't know what the process is to become a "Mixer partner" but damn I wish I was. I'd be taking everyone's request for game streams and be making a lot of money right now. This Mixer promo is frustrating... I looked through a bunch of streams last night and only a few of them had games for sale and the majority of it was just Fortnite or Warframe currency.

750 followers & average 50+ viewers for 2 months straight a minimum qualifications. Have to be interactive and they have to like your style.

I'd do it.

Who wants an xbox deals mixer channel?

We already knew it, but since it's official:

Also, Burnout Revenge for ~$7 on sale, ya jabronis.

Although I did encounter some weird glitches playing via BC that weren't happening on the 360.

Sweet. already own all, been playing more BC games lately than new, loving Far Cry 3 CE, forgot how good this game was. Actually missed the hunting aspect that wasn't in FC5, voice acting was better in 3 also. Keep it up M$, now just need juiced 2, and NFSU2.

Used Mixer to finally get "next gen" GTA V (played it way back in the day on PS3). Used the $5 GC from the Xbox survey (2 months ago?) and will get that replaced with another one by ordering through Mixer. Can't lose.

Installing Midnight Club and Table Tennis as we speak. Also missed that Burnout Revenge is on sale. Going to trade in my disc and grab it even though I have a feeling it will be on Access soon enough.

Question: Were the MAU “remastered” ever patched? Know they were crucified when they first came out on his bad the framerate was and glitches. Just still on the fence on picking up that $15 bundle.

Where does the purchase option appear on the Mixer stream? I'm logged in and have looked at two streams so far, but the only $$ option is to pay for subscriptions.

Has anyone been able to track down the $30 6-month sub cards for Game Pass that were mentioned in the E3 sale original post? (Major Nelson’s, not here.) Best Buy still has them listed for $59.99, and the Walmart I work at doesn’t sell them or is OOS so I can’t check.

That styder guy is thankful for the mixer love.

He was saying he had sold 3 copies before today. Then has sold 12 from the CAG crew.

I bought the bundle last time it was on sale.

It seems to work pretty good, i was grinding out levels for costumes in MUA 1 for a few hours.

They patched in all the DLC and i think it was the PC version that had issues.
