Well since Strange Brigade is going to Game Pass tomorrow, maybe we can expect a sale on the season pass? I really don't want to have to buy the Deluxe edition since I can just play the base game for free.

 
I might snag FlatOut. It is the lowest it has been. Would have never bought it at full price but I had some fun with the 360 games.
 
I remember playing Wheelspin Frenzy for IGC. While it's an easy, if tad grindy 1k, I found it pretty boring overall.

Riddled Corpses is pretty fun and not a bad 1k either outside of one achievement. Twin stick shooter with an arcade feel.
 
wow didn't think I'd ever see the first darkness on sale again

Owned it physical very early on and bought it fairly recently at 20 because of my doubt I'd see it on sale

was the game I was playing when I got my first RROD on my first 360

It's pretty similar to Flatout 2 from back in the day, not quite as good. I enjoyed the racing/destruction derby stuff fine enough back then, but spent lots of time playing ragdoll Olympics with friends. Ragdoll Olympics is back in 4, but a poorer selection of games and no online for that part of it (at least there wasn't when I played awhile ago). Worth the price if you enjoyed the old one. It's not like there are tons of games like this being made anymore.

If Danger Zone 3 was made, I would love a fast paced Destruction Derby mode.
 
FWIW I started and played a couple of hours of Fallout 76 last night and had fun with it.  I didn't see any major bugs yet and ran into two friendly real people while playing...even helped one out of a jam.  I think it has a lot of potential if they can clean things up and add more to it like they did for Elder Scrolls Online.  That said I think you got to be a Fallout fan to enjoy it.   I paid $32 for it with BBUY GCU after getting a Microsoft XBL refund on my full price purchase and I think that price is about right for it.

I'm an indie game enthusiast, and my only complaint is that most of these prices are too high. I typically don't pay more than $5 for an indie game unless it's something that's critically acclaimed (Hollow Knight, Spelunky, Stardew Valley) which most of these aren't. And paying $5 is a stretch.

I read what was on the Microsoft store over a month or so and thought it sounded great. It sounded like a choose your own adventure mixed with Clue and historical figures...then I saw the price. I should look into it on YouTube.
 
Now that all the quest points have dumped into my Microsoft Rewards account, are any of the gift cards still on discount or do I have to wait for the next round?

If you like adventure games, it's worth a try. I've only played the first chapter, but they really made the telltale formula feel fresh, and the diverging branches are so different it seems like there's some real replay incentive. The RPG elements are a nice touch as well. If you're not ready to commit, try chapter 1 for $3.50 then pick up the season pass later.
 
Whatever your opinions are on the S405 series of TCL tvs, they sure as hell are nicer than a 2006 Sony Grand Wega projection tv. Turns out 4k with even basic HDR looks better than 720p on a fading projector bulb.

 
After not seeing anything of interest in the new sale list and the countdown list decided to grab the BioShock Collection. Still own but have not played the 360 versions so adding the remastered versions to my backlog. At least these have all the dlc's included too.

Is the FandangoNow app on Xbox One? I don't have a lot of 4k movies, but every single one is 4k on FN.

I think it is but I personally have found FandangoNow to be the worst of the streaming services. Very inconsistent streaming, no Atmos and no Dolby Vision (though the latter isn’t on X1 for anything but Netflix anyway).

On Xbox One, if a movie is 4K on Vudu, I’d suggest that app.

Back on gaming, looks like Just Cause 4 is getting mediocre reviews. Was hoping this one would knock it out of the park. On well, probably still pick up my copy since I preordered with GCU and it had that $10 reward.

I personally like it more then Life is Strange, I really like the setting for The Council though and highly recommend it to the people who are curious or interested in it, it's a really good game, it has some technical issues for sure, but nothing ground breaking that I've ran into.

Thinking about picking up LA Noire remastered. Can someone tell me if the remastered version inserts the DLC missions into their proper place within the story, or are they still separate missions away from the campaign?

I’ve played the first two which I loved but never played the dlc. The new sale doesn’t look worthwhile to me but I’m sure there’s still plenty of sales that will happen between now and New Years. I’m really hoping for the Assassin’s Creed Rogue remaster to go on sale. Enjoy Bioshock. While I never finished the third, the first two are great.
