And that makes me sad. I own a PS4 also but I can't stand the home screen. It's sluggish and I swear the PS store doesn't load properly 70% of the time. It also has this problem when you get down to low memory...70 GB available, install 40 GB game, error...not enough space.

Games are the only thing that really matter to me, unless there is some huge fuckup in another department like the Switch may potentially have with it's online system. Those last 3 months of games alone have made me very hungry to get a PS4 now.

 
DR4 was a lot of fun. But they botched getting the original Voice Actor back and it also got a lot of back lash from the community. It also didn't sell well which is obviously the worst offender. Capcom is not exactly rolling in the dough outside of Monster Hunter 3DS (which are mostly big sales from Japan) and milking the Resident Evil ports, so they need to get as much profit as possible right now. Wouldn't be surprised if they turn to Pachinko big time like Konami. Funny enough, Bomberman on Switch sold over 100k units last month so we might be seeing more of Konami in the future. Hell, they just greenlit Contra for BC.

100k is alright for the low budget Bomberman likely had but in general that's pretty low. When Metal Gear Survive flops I can see Konami re-swearing-off video games that aren't PES. If they were smart they'd license out their stuff to good studios and probably make a lot more. As is I think a lot of people won't touch a Metal Gear from Konami themselves anymore, but might be more willing to try something from a good outside team. They really don't have much internal talent left, pretty much just whoever is left from Kojima's team that didn't leave for the new Kojima Productions. Even Bomberman was handed off to a small external team.

Capcom seems more likely to go all in on mobile than the pachinko route, fundamentally I think they care more about games than Konami. Even if a lot of their decisions rile up fans, they do always try new things and put out a lot of games.

 
Capcom has Monster Hunter and all their recent HD remakes have proven to be financially beneficial for them, not to mention Resident Evil 7 was a hit. I don't see Capcom approaching the realm of leaving console games anytime soon.

Maybe the PS4 needs double the space of the download to do an install like the Wii U? So for a 40GB download you would need 80GB available even though when the install is done it only uses 40GB..

Aplha 3 on PSX had that really awesome world tour mode where you earned experience and leveled up, along with a bunch of other alternate modes. Unfortunately,the rest of the series never tried anything nearly as cool, which always seemed odd to me.
 
I might actually care about COD this year depending how the co-op is.  Just a few missions or the whole 6-8 hours?  Only 1 partner or 2 or 3?

Sounds like it is a couple of missions only though.

I never play Zombie mode so I'm good. Usually jump into campaign and then multiplayer after campaign. I'm excited to be back to real guns that are familiar.
 
sounds like they're actually doing away with the season pass? If there's no zombies mode then its a good possibility. I likes it if this is whats going on. I'll sacrifice zombie mode if it means not having to dish out an extra $50 to get the full experience.

 
I have an external drive for the Xbox One now and apparently I can format the drive on the Xbox One itself. On my 360, I typically download to the 360 and then move the games to my other external from the 360. So, I have two questions:

1. Does the Xbox One need to be connected to the Internet while a game is being transferred from the Xbox One to the external drive?
2. Does transferring while connected to the Internet use data that would count towards my data cap on my Internet usage?

there's always a season pass zombies or not. Activation isn't gonna stop that.

sledgehammer did advanced warfare with the exo suit zombies, infinity ward did the alien mode in ghosts.

Treyarch is the only duty dev I care about, screw sledgehammer and infinity

This is important. If deBlob 2 goes on sale for $2.99 (or was it $1.99?) you should probably grab it considering they will most likely raise the price once the remaster is out. Of course, it could also go GWG to spurn interest for the remaster.

Yeah that description in the marketing materials reads more like this is what will be in place of "Zombies", or maybe more of Spec Ops mode from Modern Warfare 2.

1. No.
2. No.

It just transfers from your local to external, no internet connection required.

I do not recommend Overcooked for SP. Great co-op, but SP just doesn't work with this game. It's some awful mode where you try to control two people with one controller (and not in a good way like Brothers).

If I understand the reasoning of your questions the most important one is the one you didn't ask. On the One you can download straight to the external which will be faster and save you the hassle of transferring everything.
