If you actually read my post you would know that I don't expect it to go on sale any time soon, I just won't pay 15 dollars for it.

I never knew Crystal Defenders was on sale before, I would pick it up for sure if it went on sale.

I wish they would have taken the Super Meat Boy approach with Spelunky and launched with a discount to reward early adopters. If so, this game would be in my collection already.

Man you all are getting me excited for I Am Alive even though I know it's never going to happen. I bought Alan Wake's American Nightmare instead of that, but I don't really regret that purchase, even at 1200 points.
 
Deal of the week thru the App sales and specials is Fallout 3 DLC and Elder Scrolls Oblivion DLC. For losing the scratch off game you get 400 points off Raskulls and Ms. Explosion Man. I Hoping there are better deals then this. I really wanted ilomilo, I was thinking it would be avail untill tomorrow.

Ilomilo is still up on my sales and specials app. None of them have changed yet on mine.

This sales app is great! So far the loser deals are pretty good. Raskulls was on my buy list at 400. With Ilomilo this last week and pinball fx tables on sale the week before, I might start to get my hopes up for deals each week again...

Strange obsessions. That's really all there is to it. There is a sense of fulfillment that comes from seeing everything fully loaded, which I'm sure you can understand to some degree. I'm sorry that my not-really-that-much-of-a-rant about it bothered you so much that you had to make a mounta... wait a minute!

There are definitely a few things Microsoft has unnecessarily bogged down that go beyond minor annoyances, but nothing comes to mind when I'm not browsing the dash.

also, thanks for the chuckle, airco. And many thanks to whoever suggested wiping all the Netflix stuff to speed it up... I apologize for not bothering to dig up your name, but I will definitely take action on your suggestion.

Defenders of Ardania is probably a price drop. We may find out tomorrow if they update the dashboard.
 
monster madness is on sale for $15. why they waste their time discounting a game like that which no one wants or should probably ever waste their time playing instead of something decent is beyond me.

If you consider that this kind of "offers" are often limited and region-specific, Microsoft seems to like adding insult to injury... and I'm rather pissed off by the fact that there's still no Xbox Rewards or App & Sales Special+ app in my country... /rant
 
For those who say they still can't find the Sales & Specials+ app check if you have your dashboard set to Family content. If you do then that app will not show up. I had to change that setting under the "Privacy" section of the dashboard settings to get the app to show up.

Will be pickin up Ms. Splosion Man since I skipped it when it dropped to 400 msp months ago and regretted not getting it. I'll also snag the Scott Pilgrim dlc next week. Never thought that'd go on sale for 360 users. Awesome!!

This week's regular "deals" can go die in a fire. Already seen em discounted 50 times beofre and the GOTY editions are much cheaper. Unless you have msp fallin' out yo' pockets, go with the disc versions......
 
did microsoft run out of arcade games for their microsoft studios sale.
i am sure all of those have been on sale before, dont know why i am acting surprised.
 
Yay for Toy Soldiers: Cold War! Now that I think about it, I've yet to finish the first one... oh well, games are meant to be collected after all, who's the fool that still tries to complete 'em? ;)

And the Knives Chau add-on was totally unexpected... better late than never, I guess! :bouncy:
 
I might finally buy Hydrophobia. 200 points is hard to pass up.

Will also buy the Scott Pilgrim DLC if I don't already have it. Don't remember. :razz: Also clash of heroes DLC.
 
Hmm, guess I'll get the Scott Pilgrim DLC next week, considering I've got nothing else to spend my points on until Jet Set Radio is out.
 
I keep hoping for an EA/BioWare sale. I'd love to pick up the ME2 DLC at half price, and maybe Amalur now as well. Maybe in two weeks... *sigh*

I would say that there is a decent chance that ME2 DLC will go on sale sometime in the next month during the Summer arcade promotion. DLC seems to be the norm during those promotions.
