True, but another nice benefit is that the 18% aren't exactly stellar titles:

I've heard a couple people mention Tecmo Bowl, Rocket Knight, Ancients of Ooga (;)) and Alien Breed 3. But nothing on that list screams MUST OWN!
 
Raptr rewards offer appears to be live (300 have been claimed). Mine's not showing for some reason. Anyone else having any luck?

EDIT: Nevermind, worked for me after a few minutes. :)

Had that problem, but it started working 5 minutes ago. I already received my game codes.

Nice, just finished signing up, just waiting for my codes now. And need to remember to shut off auto-renew after.

EDIT: Got mine too, very quick. Free R-Type Dimensions, can't argue with that :). Gonna try to sell The Maw code, I'm sure the trade thread is going to be FLOODED with them!

Did you have a Gold account tied to it before? Mine didn't show up either, but I created a new Raptr account and attached just my Silver account to it and was able to claim. Just waiting on my codes for the games now.

EDIT: Nevermind. Maybe I created a second account for no reason. Oh well.

Oh ya, I really enjoyed The Maw. I just can't imagine there is anyone out there that doesn't have it.

Keep trying to complete the purchase and it says it cant be completed at this time for the free month. This is with a new silver account.

Hopefully I can get it to work because I want RType.

I saw the Anniversary Pack and was about to buy it, then I noticed it was actually 600 MS Points and not 400 that I always assumed a map pack sale usually is.

Major Nelson says it's the 6th most played game on XBL and Halo 3 is 17th. I think you'll be okay, even after Halo 4 comes out.
 
Picked up Rise of the Martian Bear for Iron Brigade. I may go for the Big Thrills pack for Trials HD, but it'll put me below 800 points in the worthless to me territory. If I enjoy the Orcs Must Die demo, I may grab that and the Big Thrills pack with it.

This is certainly the best sale on Xbox Live this year if not just for the amount and variety of content on sale.

I've tried paying with a CC and PayPal and it still won't go through. I called Xbox support and they had no clue what was wrong. I wonder if I use a 1 month prepaid card if it will still work.

Questions about Martian Bear DLC, does it raise the level cap and/or provide new weapons?

EDIT: Think I found the answer to my questions from Googling. Yes, there is a lot more weapons, and the level cap increases from 10 to 20.

New weapons. I'm not sure if the level cap was raised by the Martian Bear DLC or the update. It's higher than the game's launch cap.

I played it just about a month ago (4/26/12 to be exact) and I'm pretty sure I capped out at 10. Has there been an update since then?

Or is there only a specific mode that will let you level higher than 10?

I guess it was with the DLC, though I thought that was why they added the Survival mode with the original update to IB.

Edit: Speaking of XBL, I'm talking to their twitter support to find out why Canton, OH is against their TOS as a location.

Hmm considering getting the Martian Bear and wait till Iron Brigade drops to 400 MSP
maybe not the best idea, but the game will see a discount agian the dlc...well xbla dlc rarely goes on sale...

It's your money and you're welcome to spend it however you'd like, but I find this strategy pretty off-the-wall.

I believe you can find the list on xbox.com under games. Prices I believe each game is 800 MSP maybe GTA SA being the exception and being either 1200 or 1600 MSP.

At the top it says that all games are $15, not sure if that's correct, or how updated that list is. You can verify prices yourself using xbox.com.

Or use this link and scan all the Xbox GoD for the Xbox Originals. Pretty easy to catch because the box art looks so different, then make a quick list in Excel.

Well it's not the first time I would do this...and it has worked before, due the huge backlog I'll only get games for 400 or below because many of the games purchased for 600 went down to 400 or lower at some point and I haven't even touched them yet...

The other thing is...I'd like to get some Indie Games Have 3 in my mind but would round it up to 5 to make it to 400 MSP (all 80 MSP) but doesn't know what to get beside Breath of Death VII, Cthulu saves the World and DLC Quest...
 
I'm having issues with this Raptr give away. I have a newly created silver account but it won't let me register on raptr. It ays I don't have any games. Do I have to log in with this silver account and play something before it will find it?

You have to have at least one game in the history for it to let you link your Xbox 360 Gamertag to your Raptr account. So, just download your profile to your console, hop in a game really quick and then it should let you link them.
 
Alright, I will have to do that when I get home. Hopefully they are still going to have codes. I don't have either of those arcade games.
 
They should still have plenty of codes. If they started with 15k, they've only given away about 10% of their codes, so it should last for a while.
 
I just signed up for the free month through raptr, and I still have the $2 for 2 months of gold silver member promo on my dash. That's 3 months total and 2 live games for my other live account. Nice.
 
FINALLY got the Raptr promo to work. Tried it on three computers and my phone but Xbox wouldn't accept my credit card and kept saying to try later, I also called tech support twice and they said they saw no problems with the card. On a gamble I entered in the free month of XBL I received from the M&Ms promo and sure enough two seconds later I received the codes for the free games. So if anyone is leery about entering there CC info or if you are having problems like I was then you can enter one of those codes and it still counts.
