It looks like ROCKSTAR GAMES sale is already live. The prices look like sale prices to me. Am I wrong?

Also, does anybody know for sure if the MIDNIGHT CLUB is the COMPLETE EDITION with SOUTH CENTRAL ULTIMATE CONTENT PACK?

Thanks in advance to anybody that answers.

Sonic Adventure 2 DLC isn't on sale right? 240 is the normal price?

Also for Trine 2, is couch co-op an option as well as online?

And what are peoples thoughts on Hell Yeah? Queing up the demo now.
Nobody cares about Fez.

Mark the Ninja however is one of the finest stealth games ever. The only excuse you have not to buy it is you're waiting for a bigger sale or you have it on PC.

Or you didn't like the demo, which is unconscionable.
They warned me about peer pressure when I was younger! "Everybody is doing it", "It's the cool thing to do" ... thou shalt not tempt!

Anyone considering Rayman 3 HD should just spend the extra 400msp to get origins. I have both and origins is soooooooooooooooooo much more fun.
We should start a club. I deleted all of my disc games with the exception of one and I still am dangerously close to filling up my 250. And my disc drive is starting to get real loud when discs are in
I'm getting sick of buying USB sticks, too.

I found Fez to be pretty interesting, but not relaxing in the least. I "finished" the game without getting all the cubes and anti-cubes, but haven't gone back to do new game+ yet.

I also liked Hell Yeah a lot, even if it's simple once you get past the glitz. There's a lot of glitz.

I have about 20 gigs left out of my 320. :-({|=

This is where I'm headed.
I'm getting sick of buying USB sticks, too.
What's the largest we can go? 32GB? I have a 500MB I use just to transfer my gamertag around. Might just throw that on a bigger flashdrive and store some games on there, too.
On the fence with hell yeah and mark of the ninja your guys thoughts? Mark of ninja seems to be highly respected here its tempting me.
Just read back the past few pages of this thread. Plenty of thoughts have already been posted about both of them. I recommend both.

Trine 2 has couch coop as well as online. I read somewhere that achievements only unlock for both players during coop while playing online however. (if that sort of thing matters to you). Just started the game with the wife last night. Very fun coop experience.

It has been kicked up to two 32gb usb sticks for a total of 64gb.

Oh boy, so I've downloaded Fez..but now I'm unsure of what to get else. I'm digging:

- Sonic Adventure 2 (Absolutely loved Sonic Adventure 1, never played this one)
- Rayman 3 HD (Never played the first, but I played the 2nd on N64 and thought it was very fun)
- Mark of Ninja...I'm not a too big fan of side-scrolling, but people keep talking about this game...

My desire is in that order too...help!!

I'm in the exact same boat. My disc drive sounds like a grinder sometimes and I'm constantly having to delete stuff since my 250 GB is full. That's after deleting all installed disc games and Kinect games since I downloaded them again on my Slim that is hooked up in the living room. One thing I noticed is the marathon packs for Dance Central weren't coming up on the Marketplace. I know I can find them through my Download History but there are thousands of items on there so it's tedious. I wonder why they removed them.

I downloaded the trials for platformers and bought Mark of the Ninja and Trine 2 as expected. Hell Yeah! was better than I expected but since I'm on the fence with it I'll pass and hope it eventually hits 400 MSP since it's published by SEGA I think. I'm passing on Rayman Origins too because I died a bunch during the demo and don't want to fuss with that especially since I don't have a local co-op partner. It was pretty fun though. I'll wait to see how Rayman Legends is next year.

Yesterday I downloaded the Trials Evolution DLC. I love those games. Either this new DLC is harder than normal or I'm extremely rusty. I've beaten all the tracks including Extreme in the original games and the old DLC so I'm decent at the game. Just nowhere as good as the top of the leaderboards where those magicians pass every track in record time with no faults.

Sheesh...when ya put it like that...now i just HAVE to get it lol I'll try the demo again

...is there a reason you didn't wait for the sale?
...is there a reason you didn't wait for the sale?
I figured he meant the one that was just released. I doubt that one will be part of the sale. If not through, then yeah, should of waited.

The Marathon Packs are only available whenever Harmonix puts Dance Central DLC on sale.

Sonic Adventure 2 is a no-brainer if you like the first game. Some people miss SA 1's exploration, but I certainly don't. 2 has a better and more coherent story, though being forced to play as Knuckles and Rouge drags it down a smidge. Still a fine game though.
...is there a reason you didn't wait for the sale?
Yup. The sale will include everything EXCEPT the DLC that was released yesterday which is what I bought. I already own everything else that will be on sale. I've gotten both games for free so I have no problem supporting each DLC pack at launch for $5 because they're worth every penny and I hope we continue to get content. Trials is really one of my favorite XBLA franchises. :D

@eastx Thanks for the clarification! I only shop for DC tracks during sales so I never noticed before. I'll wait for the next sale and download them then.

I have both games and some DLC for HD... I'll pick up anything on sale that I don't already own - Trials is one of my faves too ^_^

Demo impressions...

Fire Pro Wrestling - I actually enjoyed the gameplay, but the graphics and sound just felt off for some reason, like I was playing an original Xbox game on the 360, if that makes sense. I'll pass and try to find a similar but more polished game (someone already mentioned WWE 13, which I can rent from Redbox).

Realms of Ancient War - Seems like a decent enough hack 'n slash dungeon crawler, but that genre isn't really my bag. The Torchlight demo left a better impression on me, but RAW does have multiplayer going for it.

Joe Danger 2: The Movie - I enjoyed this demo much more than the demo for JD1. Better music, better gameplay, but I don't think it's enough to make me a Danger fan.

So I think these all seem like fine enough games, but "fine enough" isn't good enough to earn a spot in my backlog.

With not much to go on, it sounds like your first 2 picks were motivated by nostalgia, while the 3rd one is knocked out only because you're not wild about side-scrollers. However, then you say you're crazy for MGS ... and that's EXACTLY what MotN is all about ... stealth, listening, using the environment to your advantage, etc. It's easily on almost all critics' lists of top 5 XBLA games, so I'd check out the game in trial mode tonight, and see what you think.

Oh, BTW, crossing out yesterday's deals, and I'll quickly edit the S&S+ app section, since "Catan" should be on everyone's list to get!
really wished i knew the price for the borderlands season pass so i know how much im allowed to spend :(
I could be wrong, but wasn't the GOW3 season pass on sale for 1800 (2400 regular price) last year. I am budgeting 1800 on borderlands season pass.

It was 1200 points. I only know because I'm still kicking myself for missing that deal.

They can't be worse than Big The Cat, right? Right?
They can't be worse than Big The Cat, right? Right?
No, they're not worse than Big. But Knuckles and Rouge are integrated into both SA2's Hero and Dark campaigns and can't be skipped, whereas you could choose not to play Big's campaign in Sonic Adventure.

Amen! With walking dead to budget in as well as Dust.

Picked up Fez. Put 2 hours into it. Meh. I was kind of bored playing it. I have about 6000 msp so will probably get some more stuff tonight.
I've been full on my 320 gb for a while, I know I cleared it down to 200 mbs when all those GoDs went on sale for 5 and when Halo 4 came out I was at over 300 GB so I cleared it back down to 200 again. I made an excel sheet of all my games so I can remember what I owned quickly with the links to xbox.com full game to download and went through and deleted things that I had competed.
They can't be worse than Big The Cat, right? Right?
Lot of suppressed memories are now surfacing again. Damn you Stryke!

I grabbed Fez and Trine 2. Will demo Mark of the Ninja tonight and see what I think, but if it's as good everyone says I'll be getting that.

Thank you for putting that thought into it. I never thought of it like that and I"ll be grabbing it again. Played the demo again and thought of it more like MGS and not a typical side-scroller. Took my time and had a good bash with it. Thanks man, much appreciated.

I just saw some video of Dust, and I'm definitely going to be getting it. Looks awesome. I was thinking about Deadlight as well, but I think I'll pass.

Think I'm going to get one of the Trials games as well. I won't get both games, so which one is the better value. Is Evolution a noticeable upgrade over the original?

Edit: Looking at reviews, it appears that Evolution is more accessible than the original. I think I'll be getting it and perhaps the DLC as well.
Just to weigh in....I'm in the US and midnight club is 320 points but not available in this region so UK might have a bargain price.
Same sort of deal with Rayman Origins. 800MSP in the US, but stupid price in the UK.

Yea Evolution is probably what I would recommend. There are virtually unlimited tracks as well with the user created ones.

However, if you enjoy it definitely pick up the first one down the line as well. I've spent the most time of any XBLA games in Trials.

Whoops I meant to say Midnight club LA is 320 on the Hungarian marketplace but unavailable to us in the US which usually means UK can get it.

Also the Taiwan marketplace had an avatar sale instead of lego yesterday so I'm going to keep an eye on that....
Went to gamestop and bought Red Dead instead of downloading, gonna do Midnight Club probably.
I used a gift card I had to redeem a 1600 MSP card through Gamestop.com. That should be enough to get me Dust and Trials Evolution.

That's how I viewed it as because it is its a stealth game. =-]
again just speculation but anyone think walking dead will be 200 MSP instead of 400 for each episode?
Each episode is already 400 (I'm inferring your use of "instead of" to mean you think the sale price would be 400, though I could be reading that wrong). With the first episode being free, I wouldn't be surprised if the others dropped to 250. While that's a bit of an odd price for XBLM, getting them all during the sale would then cost 1,000 MSP, half off the non-sale price. And given the accolades the game has received, I'd pick it up at that price.
