XBLA - Puzzle Quest - Now 800pts

Can some folks help me out with some rune combos for Godlike item? I have the Rune of Gods modifier, but I need to know what other runes to use with it to pull this off.

I've been chipping away at this game since it launched on XBLA. Great stuff. Anyone else still playing?

I'm still grinding away... recently captured a Doom Knight and want to research his spells... (Sword of Bane is the shiznit...) I don't have a Rune of Gods modifier yet though... that's on my to-do list. :)

I just hit level 50 and am moving toward (I think) the final boss. I haven't really bothered with too much capturing, and I haven't been able to create a godly item yet.

Rune of Gods + Rune of Poison + various Base(I think that's what they're called.)

I think I personally used Fire for my Wizard if I remember right.

I can not wait for that

Even though I have a little left to finish I will be at 200/200 by then and get that expansion day one.
Very good news. I take it they will add an aditional 50 points to the game too??
I would be very disappointed if they did not.

Haha Puzzle Quest: The Addictioning

Yea I need to finish the game too. Been playin DS version lately due to portability.

Why don't they release a newer version of the game and then not allow you to continue old saves. Oh wait, that's Lost Planet Colonies...

I have only played the demo so far, but that was enough to both convince me to buy the game and for me to know that this will probably be highly addicting.

If anyone wants some action, add me: X Matt Young X.

Played through this on the DS recently. Would get a sequel or expansion on the DS, but I just have no interest in these types of games on the 360.

If I fire up the 360 I want to play the latest and greatest game in HD etc. I made the mistake of buying PacMan: CE and have barely played it. If it was a DS game I'd probably play it more as I like to play these kind of simple games on the DS before going to sleep etc.

But I just can't get motivated to play them on the 360.

Yea I probably play Puzzle Quest more on my DS than on my 360 basically because its easier, difficulty and pick up and play/mobility. At times I wonder why I spent so much money on an console to play arcade games but I've had numerous experiences with them though.

While the DS version is perfectly fine, it's nice having much better graphics and sound, the rebalanced gameplay, Achievements, and online multiplayer on the 360. Totally warrants a second playthrough for people who beat the portable version.

fuck you!! My Xbox just fuckin RROD'D!!

This is like one of the few things I've been wanting to play on my damn Xbox!!
:wall: :wall: :wall:

But seriously, what's up with 700 points?

Better that than 800 I guess. I dunno if I'll get it. I still haven't finished the original campaign. It really started to drag once I would get sent all over the map and have to deal with 2-3 random encounters before a quest battle. I'll finish it eventually.

Excellent news! Just like the original, I'll play this non-stop til I finish it.
"...just one more battle!"

Hmm I haven't finished the original story and yea that is a bit pricey. Maybe if I finished the story I might get it since I have some free points to spend. I just hate it when the AI knows what to do to get a 3 or 4 chain every time.

Ah, 700 points... crud. I was hoping for 400 too. But I suppose I'll investigate how big it is... I've finished the main quest (quite fun, actually... even with the "popup monsters" that kept getting in my way) and I'm ready for some more. (I'm tired of trying to forge a godlike item... heh.)
Sweet, I STILL need to finish the main story though - my game backlog is getting ridiculous!
Same. This is the only Arcade puzzle game that absolutely has me hooked. Maybe if I wait long enough, this dlc will drop in price. Not sure I want to spend that much just yet.

I'll get it. Having 250/250 on an XBLA game is too good to pass up. Plus it's really fun and I haven't played it since I beat last year.

I just realized that this dlc is only 100 points less than the full version (which just dropped to 800 points as part of the "Arcade hits" titles). Then again, I paid 1200 points for the first game, so maybe it's not so bad. I can wait a while, but would like to get it.

After playing it for a bit I fell back into the gameplay. The expansion starts at the very south end of the map and has a red ! point for those who forgot what that means besides me. Pretty awesome that I can go beyond level 50 now. Not sure what the new level cap is.

My character still has this showing on it, even though I've pulled down the DLC. Anyone else have a lvl 50 character already and pull down the DLC? What happened to yours?

Same here. Egh. I feel like getting the expansion, but I know I won't get through it since I'll be playing other games. =/

I'm torn on this. I don't really want to spend 700 points on it, especially since I doubt i'll play through it again, even with the new classes, but I do kinda want to get the last 50 achievement points (since i had 200/200) and see where the story goes... argh.

I need to research some spells, and possibly capture more dudes.

My spells are weak right now (Fireball, etc.), though Wall of Fire does help a lot.
