Don't bother buying the "DX Upgrade" if you think you'll ever get the DC compilation disc ... it's pre-bundled into that disc's version of Sonic. :)

He's already in the game, but he rides a motorcycle. However, you can buy a version where he's riding the famous forklift truck from Shenmue (& the same one that's part of his All-Star move). The only real difference his that his Speed is slightly faster, but Acceleration & Handling are slightly lower. That, & since you're not using a bike, you can't pull off mini-turbos. If he wasn't already in the game, I'd say get it, but after trying him out, unless you plan on playing the game a bunch (I've basically 100% it aside from doing the achievement of playing a match online w/ a friend, which I seriously need to complete one of these days).

The Metal Sonic + Track Pack is a much better deal for only $4, just a $1 more than Forklift Ryu on sale.

I just bought the DX upgrade because my Dreamcast compilation disc doesn't have the DX upgrade on it. Am I insane or completely misinformed? Did I just throw away $3?

I also bought bejeweled blitz live. It's the only game on the Popcap list that I didn't have.

I'm tempted to get the Sonic and Sega All star Racing DLC. I already played the hell out of that game and got the 1000/1000 achievement points long ago. Do you guys think it's worth downloading the DLC for this price in case I revisit the game sometime down the road?
 
Agreed on Sonic and Sega Allstars. That game took me by surprise, and i fell in love.

Either way, biting on the Sonic DX Upgrade, been sitting on Adventure for ages and waiting on a price drop for it.
 
Okay another chance missed to not put the Sonic Unleashed Dlc up for sale. Ughhhh! i want it but i really dont wanna blow 20$ on it. Plus the files are over 500mb even reaching to gb.

No, you did not. It is not included in the compilation disc.

Ok thanks. I was 90% sure I was correct but I didn't want to disregard the misinformation the above poster was spouting.

I bought it for those 50 achievement points and because I've never played the DX version on the gamecube. I bought the original Sonic Adventure on 9-9-99 on the Dreamcast launch day and played the living hell out of that game.
 
I gave in and went gold for 1 month just to get in on this sale, plus according to rewards you get 200 ms points (double this month only) if you renew your xbl membership so hope I do get that. Got Heavy Weapon & Bejeweled Blitz Live...both good games. Some of these games like zuma, feeding frenzy are available on a compilation disc as well if you need to save hd space or whatever else.

If I use a 1 month gold card (rather than paying for a month with my credit card), will I still receive the 200 ms points? Just curious.

Don't know, I used a 1 month xbl gold given to me by Microsoft and it said it would work fine. Check out the xbl power up rewards website.

NO. I was specifically told by Xbox Rewards customer service that retail cards do not count.

On one of the promotions on the rewards I used a 3 month card and got the reward points for it so it will probably work.

I just picked the game up from GS last B2G1. It is only $16.99 used so paired with PUR and the B2G1, the game came out to only be like $10.

If you don't have FF2 and Peggle, I'd get PopCap V2 on disc, at least you "own" them and can do as you will with them when finished. Heavy weapon has never gone on sale although it so old, I could see it price dropping permanently to 400. Its not worth the 800.

I would get that, but there isn't a copy within a 40 mile radius of me. I think i'll get heavy weapon even though Feeding Frenzy 2 looks alot better then it's predecessor.
 
Many MANY moons ago I bought Heavy Weapon on launch and had tons of fun with it, it really is great so yeah you lot should give it a chance.

Maybe I've been spoiled by getting games like DR:Case West, Case Zero and Hydro Thunder for 400 points but I'm not sure Heavy Weapon is worth 400 these days.

But you can try the demo, it's a good length and will show you exactly what to expect from the game.
 
Purely speculation, but I would guess these are the release dates for the Summer of Arcade games...

7/20 - Toy Soldiers: Cold War
7/27 - Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
8/3 - Fruit Ninja Kinect
8/10 - Bastion
8/17 - From Dust

No word on pricing or any sort of promotions yet :(

I like when Crazy Larry makes an appearance :)... Gonna hold off on Trouble Witches for a few days just in case ;) doubtful, since the game is so new, but you never know.

For those of you participating in Xbox Rewards and pondering over Sega sales, maybe you should wait to see if there's another "buy stuff and get x% back" offer for next month.
I only realized this after I bought stuff.
