Horrible sales for the next 2 weeks. Only interesting one for me is Raskulls.
What a silly thing to say.
Yeah, I asked because it's buried so deep. Figured I might have some luck here.
Well, I'm the one who would know. ;) As soon as I find out I'll post it in the appropriate thread... they still haven't announced it.
Maybe I missed someone else pointing it out, but Noble Six Armor is 200 now, not 400. (Still overpriced IMHO).
Yeah, I put it in the OP when I updated. Don't worry I got you covered (90% of the time)
Ouch. What got hard about it? I played the demo and didn't find it too hard, but I'm not a big fan of games that require you to race through a stage.

I may end up only getting World of Keflings. Not sure.
The demo was fantastic but it really doesn't give you an idea of where its going. Once you complete the first world, be prepared for a lot of restarts and lots of rage. Timed levels are the absolute worst! Once small mistake and your fucked and have to re-start the level over and over and over until you maybe one day finally beat it.

I would definitely recommend World Of Kieflings though...lots of fun, very casual pace, very relaxing gameplay.

Hm, I really hate timed games. Raskulls struck me as the kind of game that could get really hard, really fast.

I may just go with World of Keflings. I really enjoyed the first game.

I'll be gobbling up all the rest of the month's deals. Yeah, even Sonic 4. Half-off points from TigerDirect and Best Buy make spending 800 on Sonic 4 a little easier to swallow.

I really love DOTW and the other sales that pop up from time to time... before the DOTW program started, I had not even a dozen arcade games; now, about 150.

World of Keflings en Raskulls for me. Amazing deal of the week is it next week.

About Full House Poker:

I'm told it's only available in countries where Windows Phone 7 is officially supported. Sorry!

No Full House Poker for me

Nice to finally have a price on Ghostbusters! I didn't want to speculate and jinx it but glad to see it's only 800 points. I don't expect it to be great but my son is a huge fan of the franchise so I'll be buying. It'll be nice to have a Ghostbusters game with local multiplayer.

World of Keflings timing is perfect. My son wants that game and he's got a birthday coming up at the end of the month in which his going to get some Microsoft Points. Of course the fact that I want to play it too doesn't hurt. :)

I also might buy the Worms 2 Battle Pack to go along with the Worms 2 I bought the last time it was on sale... and still haven't really played. Hmm.

Yeah I bought Worms 2 last sale as well, simply because I used to play Worms on PC back in the day and loved it. Played it once on the 360, and now it sits. No Battle Pack for me.

Worms 2 DLC FTW! Definitely picking that up.

If anybody picks up Full House Poker, let us know if it's worth the upgrade from the free Texas Hold 'Em game.

Any chance of adding family pack deals? Like this week I think its Yugioh 5D and something else I forget. But unless I turn on family advertising I don't see it.

This may not be the best comparison since it's a different genre, but how does the difficulty of Raskulls feel compared to Super Meat Boy? What I mean is that a game like SMB requires frantic perfectionism to clear a level, yet the challenge is deeply rewarding since the game is tough yet fair. Does Raskulls come across feeling unfair in its difficulty?

I think it's a lot of fun. Playing with avatars (that can act scared or bold and do tricks with the poker chips), being able to rotate the camera freely, and the background noise of the casino add a lot to the experience. The scheduled tournaments sound cool too.

Yeah I'd say Raskulls is not fair. You definitely don't feel the same hate but love it relationship you do with SMB that you do with this game. Most of the time the speed runs you have to be perfect and the other runs you're racing against the AI. If SMB had AI with weapons to fuck with you during levels it would be as rage inducing. This all said I sucked it up and beat the game and had a lot of fun on the way. Not recommended for people that don't have patience haha.

Oh and Worms 2 and DLC is totally worth it imo. Still need to finish the battle pack.

I turned on "family programming" and yugioh 5d was still @ 800 ms points. I'm not in a family plan pack, don't know about you. Care to elaborate on how to get this working properly? Full house poker seems like fun, gotta try the demo and see if it's worth buying since I've got Texas hold em already.

I haven't played the Texas Hold 'Em game (which is no longer free, last I looked), so I can't say how it compares to that game specifically, but I've written a review of Full House Poker here.

thanks for the review. that texas hold em game was only free for the first 48 hours it was out i think. so it hasn't been for a LONG time

I want to add Family Deals to the OP, but can't seem to get them to show up. I've turned on Family Programming (with no luck).

If anyone has an information to share, please do

Jeez playing the Full House Poker demo and I've earned 4 achievements so far. Man M$ knows how to dish out the early achievements to tempt me into buying a game. I still don't know how to play poker in the slightest but apparantly if you keep raising and calling eventually you win? lol.

Pretty much, lol. It's an easy to pick up and play game plus using ya avatar is cool & able to earn avatar awards is a bonus. Also, get the dlc for Texas heat it starts this Saturday and they have the schedule up already. Maybe we can get a cag tourney going and maybe get some people to donate dlc codes for prize winners.

I loved Full House Poker in the beta. Purchased it tonight too bad it starts saturday. Don't think I feel like spending my saturday night on xbox but I did see they have another one on tuesday which is good. I Just hope the game doesn't die out quick because it will be a lot more fun with full games online.

Yeah, this was late '06 too. I remember just starting college and having brought my Xbox with me, but no audio/video cables... attempts to persuade a peer to let me use his cables for all of one day were met with "haw haw fuck you bro!"
Oh and Worms 2 and DLC is totally worth it imo. Still need to finish the battle pack.
So the DLC is worth it? What's in it and what makes it so good?

Really on the fence about Full House Poker. I enjoyed the demo a lot, but I know I would be sitting there for hours just playing (which is how most poker matches go). Not sure if I need anything else keeping me glued to the Xbox. But I agree if we got tourneys going, I'd be all for buying this and joining an online poker league.

To me it definitely came across as feeling unfair. When I ran into the difficult levels in SMB even though I felt defeated, I still wanted to keep playing it. With Raskulls, it was just rage, I hated knowing that I lost the level by .02 seconds only to start it all over again.

The non-timed levels are fun, but when you get into those timed ones, its just punishing. I don't know how many times I thought to myself, "if I ever meet the guy who came up with the idea for this level, I'm going to kick him in the nuts and punch him in the throat".

Anyways...that's just one man's opinion.
"if I ever meet the guy who came up with the idea for this level, I'm going to kick him in the nuts and punch him in the throat".
I think that needs to be the new standard scale for all game reviews. :applause:

Thanks for your and Spybreak8's feedback - I think I'll take a pass on Raskulls.

FWIW it was also possible to get Texas Hold'Em free through some Target $10 off accessories promotion. Ditto UMK3 and... Worms? I think.

I love how $50 is a "deal" on Reach. Whatever, Microsoft. I would have double dipped for $30 just for the convenience factor. $50 is a joke.
Worms 2 is a great buy for that price. I bought it at full-price because I loved the first one so much.

I'm thinking about getting the Battle Pack but I wonder if it's worth it. Does anyone have it and if so, is it worth it? I don't care much for the single-player challenges but I'm curious to know how the weapons and voices add to the game. I love the voices in W2.

That Sonic price is quite disappointing. Though at this rate, I don't see any more episodes being released. Doesn't seem like Episode 1 is selling well with all these sales. I know I won't be buying any time soon. World of Keflings will be mine though. I never bought Kingdom when it was on sale and I regret it.
Yeah, I refuse to pay 10 dollars for Sonic 4.. It is overpriced in my opinion to begin with, and was not pleased with the final product, but still would buy if it was cheaper, like 400pts.. I am stoked to see Raskulls and Kelflings on sale already, wish illomillo was up, i would get all three of them.. This week is a bummer, last week was too, and next week, meh.. So at least the final week of the month is golden  But why the Worms 2 on sale again. .I got it on sale like forever ago, and it seemed to be on sale just a couple months back.. No biggie as it seems many want to jump on it, but seems strange some of the same continues to go on sale.

Where can you get UMK3 at all? I'd pay the $10 to have it if I could at this point. Was it a download code card you could buy at Target or something? Please tell me!! I've been so wanting to snag the XBLA version of UMK3 forever. Thanks for any info anyone... :)

There was a $10 retail download card for UMK3.

Wow. Going to have to search night and day to find one of those bad boys. If anyone knows where I can get one now of has one they would sell PM me please. *starts his search...
Halo Reach is not a deal. It is just on the Games on Demand for a week.
Straight from an email from MS

Special offer: For one week only, save $10 on Halo®: Reach from Games on Demand. Join Noble Team and take part in the pulse-pounding fight for humanity's future today.

The savings are for one week. Why would they upload it to GoD for one week and take it down?

I think what they are saying is the savings of $10 is only for one week. Not that it will only be up for one week entirely.

I've read that gamestop had some of the cards for the xbla you couldn't buy anymore, but that the codes would generate and error and wouldn't actually let purchase/download the game

Yea I heard that about DOOM. That's actually in all likelihood my fault. I found DOOM listed on their website and posted it here and tons of people snapped up codes. Pushed it to their top selling download and they probably ran out of codes. Idk why they printed up so many physical cards if they didn't have that many codes left.

Oh god no, you guys got my hopes up when I thought that I could ask GS in store if they had UMK3, now I'm afraid to try it.
