Someone mentioned battletoads.. That would be sweet.. If it happened, i probably would have to buy on day one instead of waiting for a DOTW.. But, I am passing on Sonic 4-not worth 10 in my humble opinion-worth is subjective however. I am sure many people feel it is more than worth the 10 dollar sale price. Speaking of Keflings.. I still need to 100 percent the first.. Never tried the multiplayer to get the banners yet.. Hope it is easy.

How about halo? Has that ever been under 10 bucks? I'm tempted to buy a few of these since its rare they go on sale but id much rather hold out for a $5 price point if possible.

Speaking of delays, is XBL EVER going to see Might & Magic Clash of Heroes anytime soon? Feels like it's been delayed for eons. It's a fantastic game on my DS lite and would be ever more fantabulous with online player vs player.

Halo was on sale on black friday as well.

I got it for $5 I think during December or January. So it has gone on sales, but since it was recently at $5 who knows how soon it will be that price again.
 
Man I am really tempted to pick up Burnout 3 for $10/800 MS Points. One of the greatest racing games ever made.

I don't think the digital game is going to get any cheaper than that.

I would be down with this if they did indeed drop to 400, there's a couple I'd pick up at 400 (Black, Halo, etc.)

The Maw is sort of on sale right now. There is a dashboard deal for 6 months (3+3 free) of gold + Maw + R-type Dimensions. I don't know if it only shows up for silver members like myself, but it may be of interest to some.

Any thoughts on Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel Without a Pulse? It seems like a pretty decent deal at 800 Microsoft Points and is unlikely to go much cheaper than that in the near future. I also price checked the disc version on Amazon earlier and the cheapest used was $29.99.

I already have Halo: Combat Evolved, Max Payne, Max Payne 2, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas from prior XBOX Originals sales. Has Stubbs been on sale before and I missed it?

Fei, it's never been on sale and Xbox originals hardly go on sale..maybe a couple of times a year if we're lucky. Did you check gamestop and other store pricings? Such as Hastings. I'd say get it for $10 aka 800 ms points and it's not a bad price if amazon has it for $30. You'll get the game right away and always own it.
 
When did Trials of St. Lucia (for Dante's Inferno) drop to 400? Wish Dark Forest would drop.

And yeah, The Maw is a good game, it's been on sale at least once (I got it at that point), possibly twice. I do hope there's a price drop on the DLC for it, as I'd like to 100% it. I like the theme you get when you beat the game, used it for a while.

Stubbs is an awesome game, and one of the few made with the Halo engine. As far as I know, it's the only game that allows you to command an army of zombies.

There are a few sketchy missions, and it's very short, but it's well worth $10.
 
Do any of the XBL Originals have online multiplayer? I thought the original servers were shut down, but I don't recall any of the information.

I'm tempted to get BLACK also, but my backlog is just too much right now.

So Xbox Live, you decide to have a sale on Xbox Originals this week when I just bought Burnout 3 Friday? Lucky me. I already own GTA:SA and Psychonauts, might have to get Stubbs though.
 
If you're interested in Swarm you might want to check out this post from the free stuff forum. It's not likely to last long, but you can get the game for free with an Austrian XBL account.

Crimson Skies can be found at most gamestops for less than $5.

Somewhat related note, went to Best Buy today and saw the Konami Vol. 2 disc in a shelf labeled clearance. It had a $14.99 sticker on it, and more importantly, 2 weeks ago I had seen the game in the very same store for $6.99. I walk up and ask the nearest employee if I could get the price double checked since you know, the whole clearance sign thing; and he responded by telling me that he was sure it was the price because none of the stuff on the clearance rack was actually cheaper; several people had already asked and had items checked.

So... why even have a clearance rack?

I clicked the link and a file was available for free, think it was a trailer though. don't see anything else available for it to download so don't see how they posted the game to download from free when there's nothing there except that 1 available downlad

As I edited into my post, it's no longer working. What's there now is the trial version. They completely pulled the full version of the game.

Correct. 48-hour trials are multiplayer only.

It's a shoot em up by Cave, so I'm sure It's as good as Deathsmiles ?

Guwange was always 800 Points. I do own Death Smiles but I haven't bought Guwange, so not sure how great it is.

Glad to hear that, don't think guwange will ever go on sale as I've never seen shooter type games like guwange, triggerheart exelica, ion assault or other games like that on sale. Anyone still play this online?

Honestly, Fable alone wasn't worth it. The Lost Chapters add-on definitely brought a lot more value, but 800 MSP is questionable. Compared to Fable 2 and 3, the first Fable is almost an entirely different beast. There's a little less "hand holding," no real estate, no companions, and there are actually cut scenes. The structure is essentially the same, especially when compared to Fable 2 (you're a child, you're a teenager, you're a young adult, etc.) with some flash forwards. It's been a while since I've played it, but I really think I had more fun with the first Fable than the last two. Fable 2 offered a lot of "extra" stuff but I was probably more engaged in Fable: Lost Chapter's (admittedly limited) story and environment.

For 400 points? A steal. 800 points with Lost Chapters, worth investing in if you can't find old copies for cheaper...but 800 points for the first game alone is probably not worth it.
