I just checked & it seems some of them are on sale:

Sonic & Sega Racing Metal Sonic & Death Egg Zone - 320 MSP (originally 560 MSP)
Sonic & Sega Racing Ryo Hazuki - Forklift Truck - 240 MSP (originally 320 MSP)
Sonic Adventure DX Upgrade - 240 MSP (originally 400 MSP)

If I find some more, I'll list them. I checked Sonic Unleashed & it seems none of the DLC, nor the game was on sale. S&S All-Stars Racing game also wasn't on sale.

All I know is, S&S ASR DLC is finally on sale. *goes to buy it*
I have an automatically updated page for price changes:
http://hdfanatic.com/xbldb/latest-offer-price-history/

Prices will only be updated if the web is updated thou.
I'm tempted to get PvZ. But I'm getting an Ipad2 for my wife this summer. Should I wait then to get the Ipad version instead?
Like the above posters, it's phenomenal on a touch screen and you should definitely pick it up for the iPad, but if you've never played the game before and depending on how long before you get your iPad, it's still a great game no matter what system it's on. There's always the demo too. But yea, it's well worth it on the iPad and personally, if you're ever going to buy it on the 360 you may as well now since it's on sale.

Anybody else notice how good some of the PSN Plus deals have been lately I really hope we see some of these come our way; Fancy Pants Adventures for $5, Tiger Woods DLC packs greatly reduced, and most recently a nice deal on Marvel Pinball, basically buy that and get ZEN pinball free. It has been disappointing that since the last vote for the deal where Marvel Pinball lost; we still have not seen a deal on that game.

Thanks to those who gave input. I'll definitely get the iPad version because its touch screen enhances the experience with PvZ. Although this is a great price for the 360, I'll save my points for something else.
I think I'm going to skip all the deals and just buy Trenched the demo WOWed me. I need to find people to play with because with more people this could turn into an amazing game.
Trench is definitely worth the 1200 pts IMO. I played a coop level of it at PAX East with Jessica Chobot and a guy from gamezombie.tv and it was a great coop game. Already bought it and will play it later this week if time permits.

No deals that jump out at me. Will have to try Gatling Gears.

One point: it has co-op on Xbox, which is why we bought it. We have it on every system it has been released on except iPad, though, so we might just be PopCap whores.

Point being: it's a blast co-op with a girlfriend/wife. The vs mode is also good for some cheap thrills though it isn't anything substantial. I'd demo it. :)

Have to say, for anyone sitting on the fence about Gatling Gears, for 800 points it is a killer game. Downloaded it because I was sitting on like 3700 points for a while, it is a really good game.

I picked up Gatling Gears because I've heard nothing but praise for that game. Also picked up Trenched, because I love Double Fine.

I've read a little about Double Fine, they are the same developer behind Stacked and Costume Quest right? I have yet to buy either, missed the last deal on Costume Quest, I really wanted to get that game.
Yeah I also read that, though I never played Psychonauts...*Puts on kevlar helmet*
Few have.

Good point about the vs mode. I'll demo it.

I also noticed the PSN deal on Marvel Pinball. But since I've got MS points to burn, I've been waiting for a deal for Marvel Pinball on XBLA. Any differences between the versions or should I just take advantage of the PSN deal?

While I have a big collection of XBLA games right now. Anyone got any recommendations for any good but not widely known arcarde games?

I'm debating whether I should get Sonic Adventure and DX since both are on sale, or wait and hope they go for cheaper. I think the game had the same sale before but not the DLC.

Is there a site similar to steamgamesales.com that conveniently shows price histories? (not the link posted on the previous page because it only shows current price changes)
Great site. So it's updated via script, not manually?

Also, I notice it only seems to catch price drops available to Gold & Silver members, not Gold member exclusives (like Deal of the Week).
The site is not updated manually.

It should catch all deals/price changes visible on xbox.com. The problem with the deal of the week is that the price drops happen around 3:30 AM Pacific time. The price increases happen around Noon Pacific time, so the new deals are pushed down the list by the old weeks price increases.

Here is an example:
http://hdfanatic.com/xbldb/offer-details/?offer=1dfb4c6d-38f0-4302-ab5b-41e35895189e

One of the best features of the site is the history tracking. You can see that the dance central (last DotW) were found on 2011-06-14 03:32:55. The price increase was found on 2011-06-21 12:29:28. This history can be used to check if an item has ever been on sale before. (Some of the old history is not present, yet that has to be added manually.)

I did miss the Dance Central Marathon sale because the "sale" price was the new price. Also it seems to have disappeared from the marketplace website so I didn't get the price increase:
http://hdfanatic.com/xbldb/offer-details/?offer=c8c49cbb-23e2-4487-ba19-6d9c890c4389

I need to add "tagging", to make it clear what sales are what but I just haven't had time to work on the internals in a long time.

Don't mean to steal the thread. If people are interested I can start a thread for the site to take suggestions and talk about how to make it better.

What forum would be the best for a thread about the site?

just queued up a few trial/demo titles - got 980pts, figure I might be able to score a few this week. it's hard holding out until I have enough for Torchlight :|

Each item has a price history. The link before is just one page of the site. Your examples:
http://hdfanatic.com/xbldb/offer-details/?offer=66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80258410a25
http://hdfanatic.com/xbldb/offer-details/?offer=00000000-0000-400c-80cf-000158410a25

First sale for directors cut. Look at the table at the bottom. Here is the full feature set:

Well, it is the only game that has not gone on sale from the last "Vote for the deal of the week" on XBL and I do not recall any of the pinball products ever going on sale on XBL.

I voted for it then and have been waiting before and ever since for any pinball for XBL to go on sale.
I do not have Zen Pinball so I am going to take advatage of the "free with Marvel Pinball" deal on PSN. Zen pinball and Pinball FX2 are the same company and everything apears to be pretty much the same.

Please, correct me if I am wrong! but even some review sites copied over their review from the XBL game to the review of the PSN version, they did not even bother changing the XBL to PSN in the review. (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/114/1140075p1.html) Makes me think, other than avatar stuff it is all the same.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably end up taking advantage of the PSN deal. I already have the Williams collection on 360 so it'll be nice to have a pinball game on the PS3.

Queued up Bejeweled Blitz Live today. Considering Gatling Gears.
I loved Greed Corp but I did get that for 160 MS Points during the black friday sale last year.
While I have a big collection of XBLA games right now. Anyone got any recommendations for any good but not widely known arcarde games?
Gripshift
Poker Smash

I also had a mass of arcade games I will take a look at my list once I am home.

Also depending on what you like...

Catan
Omega 5
Puzzle Fighter
Rocket Riot (maybe)
Schizoid

funny you say that, as me buying but not yet playing greed corp is whats keeping me from bejewled blitz live. too many funs, not enough times. i suspect my inner CAG will force my hand and pick up blitz before the DOTW is over

Well the sega sale was a dud. Didnt they have this same sale a month and a half ago? And werent the games even cheaper in the last sale. If feel these sale prices should be the everyday price. No money for you sega ...sonic esp 1 800 msp hahahahahahlolololhahaha. That game should be 400 during the sale. And i wont buy it until then.

Now off to the trenched demo, if its good they are getting 1200 msp from me!
Each item has a price history.
Ah, there we go (too logical a place for me to look ). Thanks!
According to that and seeing it's probably not going to get cheaper, I just might have to jump on it.

I knew that was just one page, but I guess I was expecting a completely different section to search within.
Ok, this time I'll actually bookmark the site. I think I was just getting annoyed by all the videos cluttering up the "free crap" pages.

Also, I really hate the stupid MSP conversion rate.

i picked up plants vs zombies and maybe its just the fact that i havent spent any of my points on any of the deals lately but i feel the need to pick up another game or 2. i need you guys to sell me on some of the games this week.

astropop
bejeweled blitz live
feeding frenzy 2
heavy weapon
peggle
zuma

im on the fence with these. what do you guys think?
These Sonic deals are becoming almost as annoying as the Risk Faction monthly sales they like having.
Ironically now that I am actually willing to buy Risk Factions it no longer shows up on sale like it used to every so often.
There will not be a GotY for ME2. The PH version of ME1 didn't even include the DLC so I wouldn't hold my breath for one for ME2.

Also your own logic is against you. If your after any of the L4D2 DLC and it doesn't go on sale you will be disappointed too.

There is much more likely to be a L4D2 GotY edition, considering the first one has one, than ME2.
I disagree. I'd say them pushing back ME3 leaves a perfect window to release a ME2 GOTY edition this fall / holidays, and I'd say the only reason one wasn't already out yet is because they were still making / releasing new DLC, now that The Arrival is the last DLC they may be putting together a GOTY edition. (obv this is all speculation, but i can see it happening, they did put out a Dragon Age GOTY too a few months back including all dlc too)
Ironically now that I am actually willing to buy Risk Factions it no longer shows up on sale like it used to every so often.
make it 200 and we will all give in!

-in regards to ME2 GOTY edition, Bioware wont make this, unless they like money.

While I think a ME2 GOTY edition would be a financial intelligent move, I don't think Bioware will do it. If anything the best place to announce it would have been at E3 and that's long gone. With the fall and holiday season for 2011 being an all out war-zone for new releases I don't know if they would want to throw another game in there. Especially if the rumors are true that ME3's delay was to avoid competition with other titles.

Honestly, they're all good - and very different. It's just comes down to what you enjoy playing. Download all the demos and buy the ones you like.

I actually just fired up Risk Factions the other night. It's a fun game in short bursts, IMHO :)

Of those games, I got Bejeweled Blitz Live (Not played yet), Heavy Weapon is absolutely worth the 400 points, Peggle is great, I have played it alot, Peggle Nights if worth the download as well. Zuma is pretty addictive as well.

I have Poker Smash and it was fun, honestly I have so many some of the games I have not even played. It is kind of saddening I actually have a backlog of arcard games, which I never thought would be possible. I love Catan but I have not heard of the other ones.
Ironically now that I am actually willing to buy Risk Factions it no longer shows up on sale like it used to every so often.
They probably figure that after putting it on sale 5 or so times within like an 6 month period that anyone that actually would have wanted it would have bought in one of those sales.
I wished Catan was on sale. It has never gone on sale before I think.
I wished Catan was on sale. It has never gone on sale before I think.
Ditto.

I've been waiting for it to go on sale for years.

I'll be picking up Zuma. Actually had it on the original Xbox Live Arcade.
Also gonna pick up the Ryo forklift skin, as I already have the new map. Sonic and Sega Racing is amazing, so if you haven't I strongly suggest you pick the title up. This is your chance to get DLC, as the price of the new map is kinda steep.

I guess sega never wants me to buy sonic 4 ep1. The game has everything in the world wrong with it, but I'd pick it up or 400 points for nostalgia sake. Apparently sega is never gonna let that happen. So no sale for me.

If you guys are looking to get Catan or Poker Smash, there's this guy from the Netherlands that's selling the two of them together for $5.99 on ebay. I bought Poker Smash from him a few months back after a fellow cag told me about it. I received an e-mail with the code a few hours after I purchased it. (I live in Texas and got the code to work, so it isn't region locked). His feedback is 98.5% and he seems to have more than 10 still available.
