At last, I can finally pick up POP Classic. I waited two years for a sale on that one!
ditto
I was waiting for responses like this. However in my defense his post was update at 6:06 pm while mine was up at 6:01 pm. Semantics aside I think Trials HD is at the lowest price ever? Correct me if I am wrong. I think the previous low for Trials HD on sale was 800 MS Pts.
Well the other thread was actually updated with all this around a week ago.
I made my buying decisions based on what he listed as coming up...

The last update he did just crossed things out...

I'm not stressing it. I try to keep this thread on the first or second page, but when you get info 3 weeks out, bumping every day or so make you look like a tool

Nobody thinks you're a tool for bumping this thread (or for any other reason)
Can the Transformers DLC generation 1 characters be played in normal story mode? If so, any impressions using them? I'm a huge fan of Generation 1 Starscream, Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Edit:
Watchmen seems to be 800 for the whole game, not just one part.
For the Transformers DLC, in story mode it adds in G1 Optimus, Starscream and another jet to the story mode from what I checked out. I have yet to check out the MP but the achievements list G1 Megatron (plus he was in the screenshots used to advertise it).

The only thing I didn't like was no trailer for Optimus, I knew it wouldn't be in there but G1 Optimus is not complete without it. I do have to say I did like playing with the actual G1 characters, think I will replay the story. Is it worth it.... For $5 if you grew up watching the cartoon then yea most likely you would be happy with the DLC.

Heh yeah I figured it was up already I was just BSing.
Wow, no love for TMNT:TiT? I'll certainly be picking that up.
I already got it when it was on sale last time for 400 pts and honestly the game is short as hell and is really only for nostalgic value. I remember people saying this when I was ready to buy it the first time and I was like nah its gotta be awesome.

Yeah.. I just got ROTF and picked this up. How could I not? I loved the G1 toon and the pics of Optimus and Starscream just made me jump on it. It's never going to be 400 points again as focus is going to be on War for Cybertron soon.

Even the nostalgic value isn't quite there as they based it off of the arcade original and not the greatly expanded SNES release. It's really too bad because the SNES version has quite a few levels not in the arcade and I think it's safe to assume that most people who played the game as kids played it on SNES.

Still fun for $5 though.

And everyone who doesn't already own Splosion Man really needs to pick it up. It might be the best game on Xbox and definitely one of the finest platformers in memory.

Is there any way for me to buy Prince of Persia from my PC while it's on sale, if I don't have an Xbox yet but I do have a Games for Windows Live account? Call me crazy, but a deal's a deal, and I buy games for systems I don't have yet all the time (just never anything downloadable).

Um, wasn't 'Sposian Man and Trials HD discounted just a few
weeks ago? Why not look at other XBLA games to discount, like
Mega Man 9, Metal Slug 3, and Portal? Drop them each to
400 points, and I'll bite.

You should be able to buy it from the Xbox Live marketplace website. You'll need a gold account, though.
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum is the June 9 release for 800 pts. I hope I didn't miss that being mentioned.
Confirmed for US? I saw that info for Japan, not US.

Portal was on sale before, I forget how much though.
Damn I just bought Trials for 800 pts a few weeks ago I knew I should have waited...
Same here :(
Does anyone have impressions of the Transformers 2 DLC?
Looks awesome, game is crap, save your money for Transformers: The War for Cybertron.

I buy tons of xbla games and I don't see the hype for 'splosion man. there really isn't much to it and I got bored easily playing it and trying to find a match online is a pain as there is usually no one playing it online but then again that's the case for alot of xbla games. Still looking forward to mid june's sales.
Damn I just bought Trials for 800 pts a few weeks ago I knew I should have waited...
I bought it for 1200 a week before the one day sale. No worries though, it's a great game!

I Just remember that 3D mine shaft level in Neo Geo Battle Coliseum turned that game into an almost unplayable laggy mess on the PS2. With how Neo Geo games have been online at least fighter wise I'm not keeping my hopes up on them fixing it...
Looks awesome, game is crap, save your money for Transformers: The War for Cybertron.
Okay, but assuming I got Transformers 2 for cheap a while back, is there any point to getting the DLC while it's also cheap? I assume multiplayer is dead, so probably not.

And yes, I will be all over War for Cybertron.

Is buying stuff from the website a Gold perk or something? Sucks that you have to buy the ability to buy something.

No, you can buy from the web site as Silver, but the discount is only for Gold members.

Trials HD for 560 spacebux is a good deal, but idk if that is my kinda game, I really dont want to end up with a 360 controller-sized hole in my living room wall

Man, am I glad I resisted buying Trials HD when it went down to 800 — I was unsure, but at 560 it's a definite buy, as I don't see it getting any cheaper. And Splosion Man at 400 is a fantastic deal for fans of difficult, unrelenting 2-D platformers; actually, I didn't buy Trials HD at the time because I was already fulfilling my masochistic "I hate myself retry retry retry" fix with Splosion Man. :p

Damn! I KNEW I should have waited to get Trials HD. Instead I bit when it was 800pts for a day. Just another lesson in why it's better to wait just a bit longer.

Oh well...it's not like it's THAT much cheaper. Only $3.
Trails HD is so hard! I gave up trying to finish king of the hill or any of the extreme tracks.
Agreed. I don't have the patience or the skill to even unlock the extreme tracks. I can't even get past some of the last hard stages. The game is still great fun early on, but the difficulty is not for most people.

I'm still waiting on a price drop or sale on the Puzzle Quest expansion that is still ridiculously priced.

Nothing that interests me for awhile, but thats good for my stack of spacebucks I guess. I am VERY glad to see multiple deals per week again. The only arcade games I can think of that I want but don't have yet are: Trigger Heart or Galaga Legions. As of now I really have everything I want.

I was hoping for a sale on any of the metal slug games. Those are absolute must buys but I'm hoping for a drop soon.

Anyone remember the last time metal slug was dropped?

Yes, Never. SNK playmore games have never gone on sale from what I recall.

I've been playing some Worms off my memory card so, Worms 2 is tempting (Assuming it's not glitchy). As for Trials HD... I'll have to try out the demo. I've heard it's unbelievably difficult.

Any word on when Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter will finally be released on the XBLA?

That is the only arcade game that I am looking forward to right now.

Worms 2 is quite amazing, and we are getting some big DLC (gametypes, weps, forts, landscapes, sounds and more) this summer. I love the first one for arcade, but it was so restricted by the original 50MB arcade game limit.

Already have Duke Nukem (I remember that being on sale not too long ago), but Serious Sam is tempting. If I didn't already own it for the original xbox it would be an instant buy (although I'd probably have bought it on day 1 back then as well).
how different is peggle from peggle nights?
Peggle Nights is an add-on, you have to have Peggle to play it.
