Your 2006 BCS National Champs: Texas Longhorns aka Vince Young and Co.

When USC wins their 3rd National Championship they will be remember as one of the best/if not the best ever college football team.
I hope the Hokies get a chance to play them again. Va Tech played them tough in the first game last year.
I remember that game. man, i was rooting for V tech to beat them so bad. i guess it's something about a team being that good (USC) that makes me wish they would lose. i watched the first few series of the USC/Arkansas game. at first i thought Arkansas would make a game of it, but then i realized they were Arkansas and they would get the shit beat out of them.

in other news, my Auburn Tigers won again, 63-3. but they did play ball state. oh well, a win is a win!

Have to beat us first, look forward to seeing you in Jacksonville at the end of the year. ;)
Purdue = Overrated and now the nation knows it...
I saw a good deal of the Minnesota/Purdue game today. Good game. Maroney is a freaking BEAST on the field.

That he was, I honestly think if he was playing with a prime time program like say Florida or something, he'd be almost a potential heisman shoe-in rather than a potential canididate.

Edit: Oh yeah and Michigan is overrated too. I couldn't believe they were still ranked like 12th or whatever after ND falls back to 16. Now they get beat by Wisconsin to fall to 2-2 they better not be ranked higher than 15 after this week (should really be twenty but that'll probably never happen).
Woah, what a piss poor play by Ainge for Tennessee....
Tennessee is one of the most over-rated teams in the country.

and ainge, god i remember when he was all high and mighty when TN was winning then they played auburn and he threw 5 picks. man that was a good night. i was at a bar where you pick a team and whenever that team scores you get a free drink. my fiancee and i picked auburn and we got hella drunk.

i didn't get to catch any games this weekend, but i do know AU won!!!! They play South Carolina this weekend. I don't know if it's going to be a good game, but every game is fun when Spurrier is involved.

What big games are on tap for this weekend?

Heading out the door right now to drive to Columbia, Missouri to watch Mizzou v Texas tomorrow. Texas at #2 will be the highest ranked team I have ever seen play (seen Florida and Tennessee when ranked in top 10). I don't really care who wins but I hope it is a good game.

I got to see the Hokies (w/ Michael Vick) play Temple a few years ago when the Hokies were number 4 in the land (if I recall correctly).

I was lucky enough to watch the Wisconsin game from a luxury box today. It was so fucking awesome! Free food and beer plus the Badgers played well.

Man, what the hell happened to Florida? I hate Alabama, but they are looking really, really good right now. The question is can they keep it up? They should be in the top ten, maybe top 7, after this one.

Hahaha! Roll Tide! I love it, Gators were spanked today. That and the USC score (earlier on) got a big cheer everytime it was shown on the jumbotron (@ the FSU game).

So I was sitting here watching Notre Dame beat on Purdue and I thought damn I really wanna go see them play in person since I've grew up watching them and I've always wanted to go AND it's only a 5 hour drive or so......

I take a look on craigslist, nothing so I look on Ebay:shock::drool:................. Tickets are closing for $400+ EACH, 4 seats on the 20 sold for $2400! The game is still 2 weeks away so they will be going up now! Looks like all the alumni are back in full force! The games were always sold out even when Notre Dame had bad teams, good luck getting tickets now.....

PS. I'll be watching it on tv. ;)

Joe Pa finally died during the off season and someone else is running the team. they are doing a weekend at bernie's type thing so people think it is him.

I'll be watching it in the stadium. I'm a student there, so I'll be in the student section watching the Irish beat the Trojans. Being a student on campus during a season that the Irish are winning is just crazy. I mean, I'm a freshman, so I can't really compare it to anything, but still, the atmosphere is great and anticipation is already really high and we are two weeks away. I'm already starting to see USC specific tshirts around campus. My favorite one says "Trojans break" on it, and the other good one says "Too Big for Trojans" on the back and has the leprechaun as well.

They (Iowa) might get a bowl but now it won't be near New Years Day.
USC escapes.
My friend and i were watching the game when USC started to make a comeback. They were still down, and i said to him, "Man, USC is going to come back. Reggie Bush is going to make a play." sure enough he ran for a long TD. USC is unstoppable, but they did look human tonight. it would be interesting to see them play against VTech or Alabama's D. I really think those are the only two teams that could stop them (besides Auburn, of course ;))

Nothing, and i mean nothing, beats being in the student section during the iron bowl. It is the best rivalry in the nation hands down. The place is electric. the best part is before the game when the eagle flies around the stadium and everyone is chating, "WAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR EAGLE, HEY!!!!" everyone should experience Auburn/Alabama at least once in their life.

I got a picture of Vince Young's 33 yard run, I will post it up in a sec.

I think Cal is going to be able to stop them. Gonna be a good game.
My photo is 2.4 megs. Anyone know where I can host it?
That is a huge file. What format is it in?
That is a huge file. What format is it in?
jpeg, if I go to to any other format it loses color and quality.

Have you tried reducing the resolution? To maybe 1024 x 768? Imageshack can only host images up to 1 meg. I don't know of any place for larger images.
Looks like you had pretty good seats! Thanks for the pic.
No problem, thanks for looking.
