Your 2006 BCS National Champs: Texas Longhorns aka Vince Young and Co.
Holy hell, Virginia is beating the Seminoles!
It is becoming a long ass game. But I am enjoying watching FSU loose :bouncy:

Hey, it happens. I personally think we were ranked too high. We have a redshirt freshman QB and a new WR corps. Props to the Cavs. Florida lost, so I can sleep easy still. ;)

Being a UVA fan, I enjoyed watching the Seminoles lose too

We were definitely ranked too high, but UVa still blows. We'll bounce back, especially in the coming years with a redshirt freshman QB and an amazing young receiving core. Couple that with the traditional FSU running game and a Mickey Andrews defense and that has national championship written all over it.

WAR EAGLE!!!! it wasn't pretty but Auburn pulled it out. we have LSU next weekend at baton rouge, so that weekend should be fun.

I think this was one of the greatest weekends of football in a long time. anyone agree?

I'd have to say it was one of the worst. Every game ended up the opposite of the way I wanted...USC won, Alabama won, FSU lost, Florida lost (which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it), Boston college won, Auburn won, UCF lost. Today it got even worse with the Dolphins looking like complete garbage in their loss to the Bucs.

But they were all good games. i could care less how you wanted them to turn out.

UCLA had to come back against the Dub. I really believe that if USC faced let's say the Texans or hell even my 49ers. They would most likely win. People still believe that College and NFL is miles apart when really teams like USC are closer then ever.

Let's take this. IF the NCAA negotiated a way for USC to face the Texans, who ya got? I'll take USC.

Same here. USC's D isn't that great, but teams like the Texans and 9ers can't score against them. And their offenses will just light them up. I'll take USC as well.

They should do this. It'd be fun to watch.

And I don't care that you don't care, so who cares? :D

LET'S GO VOLS
USC against the Dub. Why is the NCAA wasting their time? They know what people want. Texas vs USC.
I want to see USC v Virginia Tech. USC would lose.

I hate the University of Alabama. I swear if they pull this out i'm going to be sooooooooooooooo pissed. It's going to come down to a field goal again. I can't believe that guy fumbled on the 4. DAMNIT!@!!!!!

Jesus. . . . Alabama is such a second rate team now. they can only score 6 points against TN and they are in the top 10. 2 games in a row they win in the last 2 seconds against bullshit opponents. God, Alabama has no right to be on top of the West. It's going to be on at Jordan-Haire stadium.

Auburn beat LSU up and down the field. I have never seen a kicker miss 5 field goals in a game. This has been a terrible day for me and my hopes for the SEC.

Regardless, i think the games tonight PROVE the SEC is the best football in the land. Damn, i didn't like the outcome but these were two very well played football games. VIVA LA SEC!!!!
Auburn still suprises me, even though they lost Ronnie, Cadillac, Greene.
Greene played for Georgia, Campbell played for Auburn. They're definitely not as good as they were last year, but they are still the best in the west IMO. i don't know, i'm just pissed from today's events.

Meh, shit happends. I use to be a big Stanford fan in the Ty Willingham era. Being only 10 and not knowing crap, we went to a Bowl game against G Tech and lost. Ever since then i've adopted USC.

"Second last week, Texas' BCS average of .9763 out of a possible 1.000 was just ahead of second-place USC (.9756), the slimmest margin between Nos. 1 and 2 in the eight-year history of the organization."

damn, by 0.0007
I'm not diggin that Verginia Tech uniform. The half sleave color shit is nasty.
I don't like it either. Glad the Hokies won though. My sister and her husband got to go see the game live.

Wow, no updates today eh? If you are too lazy to look at Sportscenter or look it up, some notes:

Florida over Georgia
USC rolls
Texas is getting spanked (at the moment)

A funny tidbit from the FSU game...I think it was sometime in the second half, but someone dressed as 'The King' (as in, Burger King) with robe and all hauled ass from one end of the field to the other with some cops trying to run him down. The dude jumped into the stands near the student section and was finally caught. Our band plays that NFL song you hear on the BK commercial all of the time, would have been /so/ funny if they had played it at that very moment, but it was still amusing. :D

If you thought theirs were bad, you should have seen Florida's on Saturday. Also, my UK Wildcats got their first SEC victory this year and it will definately be their last. They play Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee and Vandy in their last 4 games.
