Walmart had some games with the wrong sale sticker on them and I asked the associate if I could get it for the sticker price. Walked out with Sonic Frontiers, Horizon Forbidden West, and Demon Slayer for $10 each.

I just went in for some pillows and wanted to grab gta v but I noticed it had the same green sticker as the newer games so I took a chance and asked.

Got home finally. Went to Best Buy and Target looking for Sonic Colors, and I don't think they ever had them in stock (for any system). Both were annoying because they had movies up front of the store, games were where they normally were (which I didn't know if there was a black friday display area for games). However I checked Gamestop, had it for the same price plus I used my $5 PUR cert so got it for $10 + tax so I'm happy.

Yes, this is labeled the exact same way at my Walmart but they refuse to sell it to me because it's scanned at a higher price. But it is very clearly marked with the sticker for $10. Irritating. They have two tiers of green sticker but it's very obvious that the green for $10 is what's on games like Fire emblem etc but they would not give it to me.


But I did end up picking Mario Odyssey up for $40. I've heard good things, I'm skeptical but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I almost picked up the legendary edition of Mass Effect for $20 but after reading a little bit online about graphical changes and some changes to the combat mechanics of the first game I decided against it. I have all three of them on 360 so there's really no need aside from having the convenience of one collection. I would buy it for $10.

Overall this Black Friday seems very weak to me, but I did end up picking up about 5 or 6 titles, almost exclusively for switch a couple for PS4. Coupons such as DISCOVER and WOWFRESH text me over the edge on some of the stuff I thought was a little high.

I am in a rural area there are about 5 in a town nearby but it's a 45-minute drive and I don't have plans to go there but I might do it because it's cheaper than the fuel it would cost to get there and I could visit the thrift store or something.

My question is someone else posted a $12 pickup code earlier and I was wondering if I could use that to save an additional $2 but for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove the applied $10 coupon from my cart items even if I removed the items etc it still shows up there whenever I go for pickup. Anyone familiar with this or am I just stuck with the $10 instead of the $12? Secondarily I'm assuming that once you use the coupon one time you can't use also the other coupon? For a second order.

I picked up Yurukill and Ghost of Tsushima DC, but that's it on the games front this year.

Got a load of anime, though, between amazon/rightstuf/crunchyroll. A new keyboard, a pair of headphones for my Quest 2, a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 3s for personal use, a Cuphead art book, and an exercise bike.

Can't tell if this year is bad for game deals or if I just don't need that many games anymore.

Any idea how to deduct a coupon from checkout so I could try the 12 instead? I don't buy a lot from Amazon, but on other sites like Walmart it's very easy to "remove" a coupon. I might just be overlooking something.
