Digimon Survive for $17 at Gamestop is the best BF deal so far this year.  A lot of the other stuff is overpriced (some way overpriced).

Anyone see any deals on Game Pass Ultimate?

Target and Best Buy usually have them on sale every year.

Elden Ring is misspelled in the OP as Elder Ring

I only mention this because if someone does a search, they won't find it with the way it's spelled now.

That's the big thing I'm looking for out of the upcoming sales, even if it's just a minor sale so that I can toss a cheap year onto the account.

Tempted to buy Soul Hackers 2 and Digimon Survive at Gamestop but I'm really holding out hope that Best Buy will get my money again this year.

Surprised I haven't seen any deals on 3 month Game Pass Ultimate cards yet.

Do we know anything about Walmart's later BF stuff? I was in Walmart today and saw Fire Emblem Three Hopes for Switch with a green circle sticker like the BF games had last year.

So Walmart's sale begins Monday online at 12pm EST for Walmart members and 7 hours later for everyone else...then Friday at 6am in stores. I bring this up because I have Walmart+ and the ad for this week's "sales" wasn't viewable until the Sunday afternoon before. That's when I'd expect their Black Friday ad if history is any indication.

Hoping Best Buy has some good deals as well since I have over $100 in certs waiting to be used.

Don't get your hopes up. I think the last two years were unusual for black friday. its going to be very middling offers this year.

Gamefly will have probably beaten anybodys price on most games by now

Hoping for deals on Tales of Arise ($15-20) and AI The Somnium Files Nirvana Initiative ($25-30).

Other than that, I'm content to attack my backlog till next Black Friday.

The way things look the next Black Friday deals will be the same games at the same price that they are now.

Oh I'm aware. My friend who's also an SMT Freak bought it at release despite my warnings and he regretted it
I'm 99% sure it will not drop even more in price by Christmas. Half off after a few months is a fair price. The game isn't THAT bad people are just spoiled by persona/smt mainline games now. It has bad dlc practices but it's still a solid(yet basic) dungeon crawler for it's current price. This is a game id only recommend for $30 or less. I personally wish I had waited for this price.

ps5 sold out lol typical.

just the base game anyway more less.

would like to get chaotic for like 30 or so, probably not gonna happen, amazon has it down to 50 but meh.
It’s back in stock now if you’re reading this. It keeps going in and out so check again later if you miss this.

If anyone was after that $39 Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes from GS... but doesn't want to deal with GS... they have it for $39.99 on GameFly... which of course is used but will complete unlike what you might get from a new GS copy (possibly complete, possibly opened and then stickered up box).

https://www.gamefly.com/game/fire-emblem-warriors-three-hopes/5034918

I'd still wait though on that as the last FE Warriors did get cheaper and I'd expect this will pop up at Walmart and BB for the same price.

This is one of the games Nintendo announced as a black Friday sale item, so it will be that price or possibly cheaper everywhere, so I'd hold off from getting a used copy from gamefly.

Is $39.99 the best I can probably expect for Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut (PS4, physical, new)? I've had my eye on this for years but it seems to be one of those games that never go on sale much and never below this. Even used on eBay hovers around this price. Should I just bite the bullet?

Wow, I really wasn't expecting Persona 5 Royal to drop to $29 on XSX less than a month after release, lol. I don't regret paying full price on launch because the game is amazing, but having an extra $30 to spend is another game or two for my collection.

I'm really hoping some of the AA games that came out in the last few months get a decent price drop for BF. I'd love to pick up Soulstice, Steel Rising, and Severed Steel for sub-$25.

Soulstice is really solid. If you like Devil May Cry 1's aesthetic, especially; it felt nice to dip a little bit back into gothic horror.

Even if you don't see a huge drop, I'd say give it a spin.

Yeah I picked up Soulstice for $30 from Gamefly and thought that was Fine. Was tempted with Steel Rising but I feel like that one might actually get a rerelease like Greedfall did with the expansion.

I don't have WM+ and I can see the deals. Walmart might be getting my money this year, lots of great deals.

Riders Republic LE is $18 right now,  $29 on nov 21 for regular version

also, the ad keeps changing, they are moving the games around and just changed the ghosts of tsushima dc to the ps4 version

So far I've had nothing to bite on. Lots of items on Christmas lists, none of it on sale. Going digital is actually harder than just buying physical for sales. Completely ass backwards TBH.

it's currently $15 on amazon for all consoles.

edit: nvm. what you linked was the $99 limited edition for $18. the ones on amazon is the stardard edition.

Best Buy is currently doing a Totaltech only sale, with prices going live for everyone else likely at 1am EST tonight.  These are most likely part of a 3 day weekend dale, and not a BF sale but I'll post it here because some of the prices are pretty good and almost BF-like.  I dont have Totalech so I dont have a list but Wario64 has been posting them on his Twitter account the last several hours.

I'm only Essential, but I mostly approach games with a priority for physical anyway. I guess I have to figure out what the best option would be. Buy it for $39.99 now, $35 from Walmart if it's still in stock on the 21st, or buy the standard edition (again, if it's still in stock) and buy the DLC separate which has been on sale for $14.99 at it's lowest.
