i dont know if this link will work for everyone, but these are the game deals for walmart for the early access on november 21

prices in green are the sale prices, but some are live now, so maybe not the november 21st price? also some games don't list a sale price yet.

$29 sonic frontiers, zelda botw, link's awakening and animal crossing

$20 dying light, halo infinite, miles morales ps5, monster hunter rise, death stranding dc ps5, nickelodeon all star brawl

$35 gotham knights, horizon forbidden west, elden ring, ratchet and clank ps5, fire emblem warriors: three hopes

$27 fifa and madden 23, nba 2k23

also some $10 games, mostly sony first party ps4 games
I'm pretty close to just holding out for next week. I get the feeling that Best Buy's deals that open to everyone tonight is the first wave. I mean $29 for Sonic Frontiers is a steal.

I've already played so many of these games like Miles Morales, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and Deathloop on PS+ Extra. It is really changing my buying habits.

Might pickup Links Awakening, Sonic Frontiers (PS5) and then wait for the Steam winter sale.

What are the chances that anyone will have Demon's Souls, God of War Ragnorok, or Call of Duty Modern Warfare II on sale?

I know the last two just came out, so probably unlikely, but Demon's Souls has been out for a while, hasn't it?

They aren't listed to be on sale anywhere. The best time to get MW2 was during Targets B2G1.

You missed out on the recent B2G1 deal from Targetm GoWRag was on there, coulda got it for $40. Not bad consider its new..

This Black Friday for weeks stuff is annoying…. I can’t keep track of everything. I preferred it when it was all same day…. I could go on Amazon one time and buy it all in one place (since most they price matched….. now I don’t know when to buy, cause I don’t know if something will be cheaper later or not. Maybe this is by design ?

We should be seeing all the ads by Sunday. Went ahead and ordered Sony exclusives at bestbuy except returnal and Nioh cuz people got that for cheaper on Walmart, charging dock, KOF ps5

$30 for Demon's Souls and Nioh Collection PS5at Best Buy. Also Ghost of Tsushima is the same price for the DC.

lol I picked sonic frontiers for $39 on Sunday, might be taking it back next week.

might not be worth it, the preview says $29 but the product page says it will be $35.
The product page has it for $29 on Switch and Xbox while it's $35 for the Sony consoles. I also got the PS5 version for $39 last week thinking that would be the lowest price of the season. Haven't opened it yet so I'll have to consider if I want to return it and get the Xbox version to save the 10 bucks.

anyone know of a site that would price match walmart?

i don't think i'm gonna be able to get it from walmart for 20 on ps5, always sold out when i check.

i guess i'll keep trying but..

KoF XV is $19.99, dang sold out for ps5. wish I acted on that... worth it?

edit: looks like PS4 still in stock and has free ps5 upgrade, gonna go for that then

doesnt that still need a paid ps5 upgrade?
Yeah it looks like it. Currently on sale for $9.99 (if I'm reading it right). I remember there was some confusion when the Director's Cut was announced.

Guess I'll pick up Ghosts of Tsushima and Demon's Souls now and see what else comes up. I was hoping to see FF 7 Intergrade in the $20-25 range but I haven't noticed it anywhere yet. I think I'm just going to get PS5 exclusive games under $30 this year and see if we get deeper discounts on the pricier ones in the future.

I figured the deals would be pretty bad this year, just I was not prepared for how bad they would end up being.

Demon Souls is $30 on the PSN store (digital) and PS Direct (physical), its also part of PS+ Premium along with a ton of other games and imo you can play and beat it in a few weeks easy with no real replay value.

The other two I'd wait and see if there is any sort of overall B2G1 at Target or Gamestop post x-mas, that'd be a good time to pick those up if you don't want to pay full price.

Yeah deals are pretty crap this year, especially on digital games. Only pickups I've done are New Tales from Borderlands for $30 from amazon and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands NLE for $20 from amazon. The prices on Gotham Knights, Saints Row, and Gran Turismo 7 are a joke considering those games did poorly and some of them have heavy microtransactions. The first two are almost certainly gonna be on gamepass and/or PS+ next year.

Ill bite on Gotham Knights when its 25 or under.

GT7 sucks imo, glad I gave it back to target after a day or two with it. They totally wrecked the game's economy, and from what I've read havent really done anything additional with the game. It was dead on arrival. Still salty about how they rolled that one out.

Ugh, they stealthily dropped it from my cart and it went out of stock while I was seeing if there was anything else to add to the order.

First rule of Black Friday: buy first, return for a better price later.
It's the same price as PSN and if it's a PlayStation seasonal themed sale so other places will probably have it at that today or next week so there are plenty of options.

You know it's bad when 10% of Targets ad is groceries haha.
You know it’s bad when Target isn’t even doing their get a $10 gift card when you spend $50 on groceries which they usually ran before Thanksgiving. I would usually stock up on lunchbox snacks for the kids for the rest of the school year.

Ya know, $75 is terrible but $49.99 for new controllers is not bad at all.  Especially when you can use red card.

I'm used to the years and years of buying PS3 and PS4 controllers for $30-$40 so everything seems expensive now, but this isn't bad one bit.  Black Friday is the only time to buy controllers unless your picking up a LE.

I weep for the souls buying used controllers of anything at Gamestop.  Buy one in a box this week and stick it on your shelf for later.

I'm finally getting my Galactic Purple

I had a $5 off $15 for groceries in my Target Circle that I used yesterday. Might be worth checking yours.

I have $10 off when I spend $40 on food & beverage in my Target circle offers.

Same. Wife gave me the matching faceplate for my b-day back in July (which I still haven't installed *doh*) and I was waiting for a good deal to snag the controller.
Nice!!!

Yeah I've seen those faceplates and I want them. The galactic purple is dope AF. Also you have a nice wife. :)

I guess I am buying Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut even though I have not looked at my PS4 in 6 months. I still like the PS exclusives even if I play my Xbox 95% of the time right now.
