Guess I’ll finally breakdown and get my son Miles Morales for PS4 he will be happy cause I told him I wasn’t going to get it until I could find it for 20 bucks or less. I’ll get it for $15 at GameStop since the wife has her monthly $5 off.
 
I just realized Mario and Rabbids: Sparks of Hope isn't on sale anywhere. Being a Ubisoft game that released in mid-October, I figured that would be a shoe-in for Black Friday.

My 512gb card in my Steam Deck is getting full dammit.
 
Looks like it's Dying Light 2 and God of War Ragnarok for me.

If I don't have a Meijers near me, anyone know where else I can pick up GoW new for that same price?

I don't understand it. I went to the Target store yesterday and somehow they turned off the sale on all the Dualsense controller listings when I got there. They were all ringing up $74.99. So I come home and the sale is still showing open and showing in my browser. Not crazy. I refresh the page and it's gone. Now it's back on again today. After I've already gone to two Targets in the meantime.

You can be 100% on top of the sales, get them the moment they happen, and still miss out.

I know online jumped the gun, but I don't think you're going to find those prices reflected in store until Nov. 20-26 like the ad said. Or were people getting sales prices to ring up early in store too?

when I was looking online earlier they still hadn't put the dualsense on sale again. don't know what they are doing.

Yeah, it's back up now, but it says the sale ends today when it actually starts tomorrow, lol.

I'm waiting for store prices to go live so I can double dip my $40 redcard coupon. I don't think you can combine that with a price match, although I might be wrong.

There are several games I'd like to get, but I'm trying to be smarter about buying games and never playing them. Plus I'm also holding out for Gamestop's B2G1 around the holidays.

FWIW, they're the same price at GS if you have credit there. I have no real excuse for buying the multicam black controller when the PS5 is still in the closet. . . :whistle2:

I’d buy it if I didn’t already have it. The purple one is the only good color they’ve come up with so far, that, black and gow. Can we just have a proper red one already please

The Ragnarök controller is insanely lackluster. Two colors and a touchpad picture. That’s all PlayStation could come up with? They definitely need to take a page from Microsoft’s book when it comes to Special Edition controllers. They could have at least done some cool engraving or something.

Why would they bother? The GOW controllers sold out everywhere with that minimal investment of creativity.

True but it sure looks hella clean. Their other colors are the real lackluster ones for sure tho. We don’t even have a gold one yet, silver or gunmetal, or a real red

Well for starters, because they could be a lot better? Why strive for mediocrity?

I certainly didn’t buy one. I’d rather buy one of the ones on sale for $50.

I like the blue, pink, and purple ones.

I’m sure they’ll make those colors eventually. It took a while for DualShock 4, but they got those colors eventually.

I think "strive for mediocrity" has been Sony's motto this gen, unfortunately.

 
Does anyone happen to know what the price of Call of Duty will be at Walmart?

The preview page says "see price in cart" but there is no way to add it to my cart.

 
Walmart has FIFA 23 ps5 listed for $27 on their Black Friday ad starting November 21; but everywhere else including on the actual fifa 23 Walmart page it says it will be $35. I wonder what the real price will be. Last year they dropped even the ps5/series X versions down to $27, despite being advertised at $35.
 
I think I remember reading something about PSN cards being 10 or 20% off somewhere. Was that at Dollar General? Did it already happen or is it happening on black friday?
 
Target has Valkyrie Elysium available online for 40. If you missed it during the b2g1, now is your chance.
Star Ocean 6 is 50, and God of War R is not discounted.
 
Not video games, but the Hulu BF ad plan deal is live,  $1,99 a month for 12 months.  Must use new email (or an email that is inactive, I have 2 emails and rotate them to get the deal each year).  Some people are reporting that they are able to add ad free Disney+ at the end for another 2,99 a month.

Personally use Hulu for FX shows since I don’t have cable (plus the new Bleach anime now).

Reviews aren't worth the bandwidth they take up. Always try a game out for yourself. I finished the demo for the new Star Ocean, was hankering for more Star Ocean, and just started playing Integrity and Faithlessness - the previous one that was released before the new one and was widely panned. It's not an amazing game, but I'm enjoying it a lot. With the new Star Ocean out, a new Valkyrie game, and two main Final Fantasies releasing next year, I'd say this is the strongest Square has been in a long time.
