They're on track to; they made a blog post this last week saying that they hope to within the coming months. From what I understand, supporting 64-bit requires re-encrypting every game that isn't emulated.
Those are all great choices. I'd start on Crysis before STALKER (since Crysis is shorter), but The Witcher you could probably play at the same time.

For me, I'd say yes, but that's because I wanted mechanical keyswitches. If that's not important to you, go for features. I'm just throwing it out there because you said you wanted something built to last; many of these types of keyboards typically have good build quality.

Since other videos play fine, this particular video could be using a codec that VLC doesn't do well with decoding. I would recommend trying something like GOM Player, at least temporarily, to see if that's the issue.
