What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

That's good-- I hesitated a bit, checked prices and saw used ones were selling on Ebay for slightly more. Hopefully this is a dented box deal and everything is basically new. The person this is going to actually has no interest in shooters, so I may swipe the Killzone from the box before I give it to them haha.

Yea, I think that's a good price, too. Congrats. I've been scoping PS3s all week and somehow missed this one. Well, at least there will be one less person to compete with the next time a bunch are posted. haha

Yeah, with the number of games I have and the limited time I have to play, a quickie, high-return game is much more enticing than one that can easily gobble up 40+ hours.

As much as I love that site & my fellow SDers, I never posted any of these deals there b/c I know what would happen.
Items would get sold out within moments and a flood of the same things would enter ebay.

I feel the same way. There must be a few CAGs who are posting things over there. I really wish they'd stop.
 
SD is the biggest piece of crap deals site I've ever seen. Everything is just an amalgamut of clutter over there. Plus, the people there are selfish when it comes to deals, as opposed to CAG where we try to help each other out on occasion, especially in this thread.

I can see this thread dying cause of SD. God do I hate SD. Like when I posted the 250GB hD from woot around Christms time and they took credit. SD is the Mos Eisley Cantina of Message bord deals.

I don't think it'll be a big deal...I mean, AWD wasn't a big secret to begin with, and people are gonna quickly get dissuaded from posting limited items like those that tend to crop up on AWD. People will get pissy and thumbs down, or bitch and moan at the OP (who's doing them a favor if they're first in). Plus they are greedy, so deals that are super limited won't get posted so the OP can have it to themselves. I wouldn't worry too much.

If you think SDers aren't capable wiping out inventory within MINUTES, you're a fuckn' idiot who has no clue about the "SDers effect".

And no, SD did not post AWD deals on a regular basis. Hell a few folks tried a few times in the past and got "TD" for posting used games. This shit just started, especially w/ deals making "Front Page".

Like I said before, I love that website, but most folks on there are gonna buy these AWD in order to flip them on ebay or CL.

Considering most of the games/systems that get added to Warehouse Deals have an extremely low quantity (1-2 games most of the time), CAG can kill the inventory just as quick. Warehouse deals isn't a CAG exclusive. If someone wants to post deals elsewhere, then I have no problem with that as it is their right to do so. This thread will live on and people will still get great deals.

If you don't want to sit at your computer all day hitting F5 to check for stock on an item you want, you could always do like others have suggested and use a program to auto refresh or tell you when something changes on the page.

Either that or just do like I did for some items you want to grab and make them favorite places and use the name of them as the name of the fave place.

In that way you can just type the name of the item into your browser's URL bar and get right to the page in a hurry.;)

Newbs and the next level aren't allowed to edit and even those who can edit, CAG retains past versions which can be reverted to. So hopefully it isn't an issue.
 
This may be off-topic, but I am hoping this thread gets pruned sometime soon. I have nothing against this thread, but the sheer fact that this thread is 509 pages long makes it impossible to navigate on a mobile device. Even sifting through past posts on a regular desktop becomes a hassle. I'm hoping the mods will be able to take care of this and we can start a fresh new AWD thread, because the current one has gotten too large.

It isnt, its actually a good idea. Like I posted earlier, if some dumbass wants to delete everything in it, you can recover it easily.

How do you change it back? I made one of my threads wikified, but I don't see an option to switch back. Also, how did you change the title? My thread I no longer seem to be able to change the title now that it's wikified. The edit field for the title is completely missing.

Click the edit button on the OP, then "Go Advanced". You can change the title and de-wiki from there.

Also, a belated congrats on hitting 1,000,000 page views on this thread!

It really comes down to personal preference and which series you like more.

Personally, I think the Platinum Hits version of Forza 3 will be the best bang for your buck as it has all of the DLC (plus exclusive stuff) included and with Forza 4 announced for later this year that's likely all there will be. I don't know for sure but I suspect we will see DLC for GT5 at some point and I got to imagine a new print run of the game with all DLC included will be done at some point later on.
