I guess you missed the part where we gushed about Flower, or how the PS3 has been the only console I have been playing lately, mostly thanks to DeadSpace.
I indeed did turn it off before that point so perhaps I should've held on a little longer. Though to be honest, you and shipwreck both have the open-minded attitude that I like in my podcasters, it's Cheapy who has the fanboy blinders on. Cheapy also does the outlines and selects the topics for the show and that is where the lop-sidedness effects everyone else.
Let me give you an example, think back on past discussions of XBLA, PSN, and Wii-ware games. Though the PSN games got a healthy amount of discussion this week this is usually not the case. With some of the high profile PS1 classics and interesting stuff like The Last Guy, LocoRoco Correcho, Linger in the Shadows you'd think these kinds of games would get discussed particularly because of their low price and the focus on being Cheap however many of these games get ignored while Braid gets more discussion then all of them combined. Don't even get me started on Wii-ware which gets almost completely ignored . . . where is the love for the Art Style Games, Bomberman Blast, Order Up, Lost Winds, etc.?
Meanwhile, almost anything even remotely significant gets released on Xbox Live Arcade and it gets mentioned.
I honestly don't think this is some mass conspiracy against the Nintendo and Sony, however I do think Cheapy is a 360 fanboy and though I know that word has a very negative connotation, to me it simply means someone who is a very big fan of a company/game/developer, so much so that sometimes their fandom interjects bias in places that they themselves don't realize. What does that mean? Well using the above example, I'd be willing to bet that Cheapy if asked would have guess that he gave nearly equal coverage to the downloadable games for all 3 platforms when in reality that wasn't the case, especially for Wii-ware which really does get ignored.
