Yeah, some of the good ones don't tend to last too long, plus some are fairly limited on the amounts they have available. I missed out on the K'Nex one as well, but ah well. I was just gonna give them to my nephews, but I don't even think they have any of them to begin with.

Yeah, I remember sending for that a long time ago and never got it either. Also, I believe the petrix shirt is a scam. There was a similar one (or the same) years ago that advertised messed up t-shirts from computer companies that ended up being revealed that they were selling email addies to spammers. Besides, why would you bother mailing them out if you could just send them to the Salvation Army or wherever.

np. Oh, and for dog owners... there was a coupon in Saturday-Sunday's paper for a free can of Purina One. I dunno why I cut it out yesterday, but I turned around and used it today as a runaway dog showed up. :lol: He finished the can off in about two minutes, as well as a peanut butter and apple dog snacks I had gotten a little while back for free that I was gonna give to my friend.

I never got around to thanking you for the dog food link, so thank you! I got my free sample within a couple days and my dog likes it :D.

A while back (summer, I think, but I could be off.) I know I ate mine. Then again, I got the German "iron kettle" stomach and have never had food poisoning, even when I ate the same stuff that gave others it.

EDIT: Oh, and the OP of this didn't include all the info. The cookies were a volunteer recall due to the peanut-related one. The cookies sent out didn't contain the peanuts, but were made on equipment that handled them. Now, it's hard to tell if the gov't would've made them recall the cookies or not, but I sorta doubt it as they're usually quick about that stuff. I think Kashi just has a good level of standards.

Yeah, I'm not worried about it. I was actually hoping that they might be offering some more free samples stuff due to it being on recall. I wonder if I can call and convince them to give me something (coupons or free cookies)
