It might have been the exception but when I ordered Mario and Sonic at the London Olympic Games, it didn't come with the code paper at all.
 
as for codes coming with games, anything i've ever ordered that had a code came with a code. they're pretty lax about sending out replacement cases too if yours comes damaged or missing something. I received kirby dream collection from the last sale, emailed them about the case being smashed and they sent out another immediately.

Gamefly is blocked at my work, so I used the app to buy Persona 4 just fine.

Of course, knowing about the sale helps because the app mentions absolutely nothing about the sale.

Not sure if you have a Twitter but I follow them on there solely for the deals and check my phone periodically while at work.

I wish they had some 3DS deals!
 
Incase anyone missed T-FoC, or Max Payne 3. They are in stock for both consoles, also Doom 3: BFG for (PS3) is available as well.

Thats Gamefly's way of saying "Out of stock". It might possibly come back later though, so refresh every now and then and see if its back up for sale.
 
Anyone know the DRM on War for Cybertron PC? Fall says Steam but it doesn't mention if it uses steam or not on the War for Cybertron page.

Interested in picking up both if both are steam.
 
Anyone ever buy DS/3DS games from Gamefly? Might be in for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3DS for $12.99 if it comes with a case with the boxart. Don't mind if the manual is missing.

I have never opened a Gamefly thread before, so I don't feel bad at all ;)

Doom 3 was the game that I was interested in, and it was $20 on amazon earlier this month. So I was amazed that gfly is selling it for $13, but its not new so scratch that
 
I got DOA 5 and GR - Fs in the mail today. Both of them came with un-used online passes. This why i love GF. Your order comes quick and they give free stuff.

Free stuff? Passes will always be unused. I think there's only been one CAG that mentioned getting a used online pass which isn't supposed to happen.

Yeah stuff.
Not true at all. Last time, i ordered NG3 and it didn't come with a working pass. I had to buy a pass off MS, which was a waste (no one was ever online). So i wouldn't say "always". There are rare cases that the online pass won't come with the game.

Your not supposed to receive a game with a used pass. No really, they should always come with it. If you've received a used code then you can easily contact Gamefly and rectify the issue. I've bought over 20 games from Gamefly, and every online pass has worked, you'd have to worry more about getting a badly chipped disc than getting a used pass.

GF stores cases/manuals in warehouse, and ships out discs to their rental facilities until it is bought. So those papers should have never been touched unless an employee actually used it when packaging it.

So when you say yes, does that mean they'll come with both a manual and the online pass? Also, what's a Game fly? Is it an insect that likes games or a game with wings?
 
Is the only way to get DOA5 for 360 is by first having a GF subscription? I can't find a way to just purchase the used game on its own.
